Broken

Mia's POV:

Have you ever had a feeling inside of you that just makes you feel worthless? That is all i'm feeling right now. I'm not even sure why. This Harry thing has me all fucked up in the head and it really hurts. We weren't dating. He can do whatever he wants with whoever he wants. He wasn't committed to me in any way.

I have spent the last day or two in my room. I honestly don't know exactly how long it has been. Brooke has been in at least every half an hour to check on me. Most of the time she'll stay for a while and then leave when I stop talking, which is usually after about two minutes.

Harry's POV:

My date with Caitlyn was fun I guess. We went out to dinner, then we went back to her place and fucked. I'm kind of disappointed in myself, I was thinking about Mia the whole time. Apparently I hurt Mia a lot. At least that's what the boys have been telling me. Whenever I'm home they will leave the room I'm in or go with Niall to Mia's. Did I really fuck up this bad? To have my best friends in the world turn against me?

I'm going to go see Mia right now. I never called her like I said I would. And she's upset at me too.

I walk down the hall to their apartment and knock on the door. Within seconds Brooke answers.

"Hey Harry." She said and walked back inside leaving the door open for me to come in.

"Hey can I see Mia? Where is she?" I asked nervously.

"She doesn't want to see you. She barely wants to see me." She said.

"Why?" I asked her obviously knowing the answer.

"You know why Harry don't play stupid with me." She spat. "Listen, a lot of guys have hurt Mia in the past and they were all dicks. They all ended up breaking her heart. I thought you were going to be different. But I guess I was wrong. And so was she."

"I don't get what the big deal is." I shrugged.

"You don't-" She paused. "You wanna know something Harry? The minute you start talking to a girl and hanging out with her all the time, it could mean your just friends but it also could mean that she's falling for you. Right when guys show that little bit of affection, the girl is sold. And they sure is hell don't know it until the dick guy decides that she isn't enough and leaves her for someone else. And guess what? That girl is left there broken from something she didn't even know could happen. So Harry that's what the big deal is. And that is exactly what Mia is feeling at this very moment." She said to me never breaking eye contact.

"Mia feels that way?" I asked looking down.

"Did I not make that clear?" She sasses me.

"Let me see her." I beg.

"Fine. But don't hurt her more than you already have." She said and the last bit of those words worked deep into my mind.

I walked down the hallway and opened Mia's door. I walk to the bed to see that she is sleeping with tear stained cheeks. She still looks beautiful. I remember watching her as she slept only a couple weeks ago in this very spot. I look at everything on her body. The way she lays on her side and pulls her legs up to her chest. The way she lays her hair out so it doesn't get messed up while she's sleeping. The way she barely parts her mouth the breathe. The way she will hum in her sleep every once in a while. The way her eyelashes curl perfectly and the way her face looks.

The way she can look so beautiful while she's heartbroken.

"Why did I let you go?" I whispered.
