My Mum, why is my mum calling me, and another thing is how did she get my number.... Kayla

What am I going to do? Will I answer her? or Ignore it?

Before I knew it I pressed answer.

"Hello"

"Haydie is that you?" my mum said with hope.

"Yes mum, it's me," I said as I walked across campus.

"Oh my god, it's my baby," she cried.

"Mum please don't cry, you know I hate it when you cry," I tell her and I could here her sniffing in the background.

"I know, but I have been trying to find your number because I knew you would change it by the time you left, so I called Kayla and asked her for your number and here I am," she babbled on and on.

"Mum ok I don't need and explanation, I just want to know why you called me?" I asked her.

"Sweetheart I know you will hate me if I tell you this," she said and I could hear familiar voices talking in the background but I couldn't get who it was because my mother's talking.

"Mum just tell me, I won't get mad," I tell her.

"Ok, but are you sure?" she ask.

"Yes I'm sure you just tell me already," I said.

"Ok, Kalenna and Liam are getting married," I felt like I was about to cry because I didn't wanna hear this, I didn't wanna hear about my sister getting married to that bastard that left me for her.

"Hello, hello, sweet heart?" My mum called for me through the phone.

"Yeah mum," I respond back.

"Are you OK?" she asked me worried.

"Yeah," was the only thing I could say because I felt like I was about to break.

"I have something else to tell you," what else could be worse than this.

"What?" I ask.

"Kalenna wants you to come," My eyes went wide because of my mother's words. Why would Kalenna want me to come to her wedding, probably to humiliate me in front of our entire family probably.

"Sorry mum I can't do it," I said that then hung up and ran home.
