Fallen

Chapter Six

*Michael’s POV*

I knew there was something different about her.

“Now I really have to save you, Elizabeth Fuller.” Even though I could feel myself getting weaker, I knew what I had to do.

She was in more danger than normal humans would be in, faced with a demon. Especially since this demon worked for Lucifer. I could hear it speaking to its hellhound last night about it.

“Oh how happy Lucifer will be when he finds out I know where she is. He will be so pleased with me.” He commented and went back to the warehouse to wait for everyone else. I had to fight.

The war between the Angels and Archangels had been raging for many centuries. Lucifer, the leader of the Archangels had gotten the demons involved. The demons were supposed to harm all of the descendants of Angels. Hit them where it hurts.

The men in my family had been fighting this fight on the side of the Angels since the beginning. Many people left the side of the Angels and turned to the Archangels. I had to find out what Angel was her father.

Her father was never around. Sarah told me that she never met her father and her mother remembers very little about him.

I had a larger reason to fight.

“Gabriel, Michael, someone. If you can hear me right now, please help me. Help get me out of here. I need to save your daughter. Whoever’s daughter she is. Give me a sign, please.” I could feel my demon knife burning in my pocket. I smiled. I knew what I had to do, I just needed to get control of my body for ten seconds.

*Elizabeth’s POV*

I turned to Michael. I looked to meet his gaze. There was no longer a jade green color to his eyes. It was a glowing amber color. I knew there was something wrong with him. I had to figure out what it was. This was not Michael, and I was bound and determined to find out who this was.

The kitchen door opened and Ashton walked in. He walked up to me and kissed my cheek.

“Mikey isn’t giving you any trouble now, is he?” I shook my head.

“Course not, Ash. We were just talking, about you actually.” I pressed a kiss to his cheek

“You were talking about me?” Ashton raised his eyebrows.

“Don’t worry, Ash. All good things, all good things.” I giggled and hugged him.

“You’re so weird, Elizabeth.” I smiled at him, his dimpled smile found its way to his cheeks.

“Why thank you good sir.” I pecked his cheek and skipped back into the living room, taking his seat on the couch. Ashton pulled me out of his spot and I stopped him from sitting down.

“Can I talk to you, alone, for just a minute.” I looked into his honey-hazel eyes as he nodded.

“I’m not in trouble am I,” he joked smiling. I shook my head, grabbed his hand and pulled him into the upstairs bathroom. Once I shut and locked the door, I sat down on the edge of the tub and motioned for Ashton to do the same.

“Ash, there’s something wrong with Michael.” I looked at my hands, hoping that he would listen.

“You mean something other than the usual?” He laughed, but stopped when I didn’t laugh with him.

“Yes. Ashton, can you just listen and not interrupt for a minute please?” I began to wonder how I was going to tell Ashton what happened.

“I guess. This seems, serious, are you okay?” He placed his hand on my knee.

“Ash, I need you to listen to me and don’t judge me or get angry, do you think you can do that?” I waited until Ashton nodded his head to continue.

“So, when Michael pulled me into the kitchen, he was apologising for something he said last night that upset me.” Ashton’s eyebrows knit together.

“Love, are you sure we are talking about the same Michael here? He doesn’t apologise for anything, or to anyone, or apologise in general.” He trailed off. I nodded my head.

“Yes we are talking about the same Michael. After he apologised, he asked me on a date. I refused because, well, I kinda have feelings for you and we have this thing,” I gestured between us. “Going on and I didn’t know where you and I stood so I didn’t wanna go on a date with him and mess up what we have going. Then he wrote his number on my hand,” I showed him my hand. “And I looked into his eyes and they weren’t a jade green color anymore.” By now, I was shaking, I didn’t know what amber eyes meant, but from Twilight, I figured it meant vampire. Ashton had a worried look on his face.

“What color were his eyes, Elizabeth?” His eyes darted back and forth between my own.

“His eyes were amber. A glowing amber. I don’t know what that means but it definitely isn’t normal.” I looked at Ashton, who ran his hands through his hair.

“Elizabeth, I need you to listen to me and don’t ask questions. I need you to believe me right now. It is the only way to save Mikey, understand?” I nodded my head quickly. “The whole world of demons and Angels and fairies that you have convinced yourself isn’t real, is actually real. Michael has been possesed by a demon. A demon working for Lucifer, the Archangel. Their leader, to be exact.

“I don’t know why the demon took over Michael but we need to get it out of him. Michael is growing weaker and weaker by the moment as the demon takes on his body, his voice, everything. One good stab with a demon killing knife should do the trick, but it will hurt Michael as well. To the point where he could die from blood loss. I know how to stitch him up, but it is a matter of whether or not I do it on time.” I was speechless. All of the things that I believed were fake and pointless, were real. I didn’t know what to do.

“Also, you and your friends need to stay as far away from Michael as possible. He is very dangerous because he is not himself. Understand?” I could barely breathe. This was too much information all at once.

“I-I understand.” I was unable to catch my breath. Ashton kissed my forehead in attempt to calm me down. It worked, and slowly I was calming down to the point where I could breathe.

“And there is one catch to the whole stabbing thing.” I snapped my head up to look at Ashton.

“W-what would that be?” I managed to stutter out.

“Only the child of an angel can stab Michael to kill the demon.”

Notes

Hey guys! Sorry this is short, and sort of a filler but I wanted to update this chapter cuz I am super excited about what I have planned from here on out. It is almost midnight here and I spent a solid amount of time working on this. Just for you guys. I can't wait to see your reactions for what is to come. And I know I don't really do the whole outfit description thing and whatever in here, but I just don't have the patience to do that. If you do that, you can get a chance to be one of the characters I have in the story. It could be one I already have, or one that I have planned.

Thank you. It means a lot. I hope she wakes up. If and when she does, I want her to get on here to see that she had support and people were there for her. It means a lot to me, and I know it will mean a lot to her that she is in your prayers. Thank you.

Until next time, LEXYY
