Mistakes

Lizzy and I hung out at my house for awhile until James stormed in the house slamming the door behind him.

"James what's wrong?"

"Nothing just nothing Nicole i'm fine"

He ran upstairs and disappered into his room which he always did after school

"Well that's my cue to leave" Lizzy said taking her purse and cell phone and heading to the door me following right behind her.

"Hey thanks for listening Lizzy it means a lot to me that someone is listening to me for once"

"that's what friends are for Nicole I'll see you later ok, call me if you need to talk more"

"Ok" I said hugging her bye

After she had left I walked up the stairs to James room, standing just outside of it I could hear he had his music up full blast.

I hated his heavy medal crap he called music, I knocked once

"Go away Nicole"

"James let's talk about it, what happened?"

"I SAID GO AWAY"

"James please I just want to help you, don't shut me out of your life, I lost mom and dad too ok your not the only one hurting here"

I heard dead silence, I sighed and walked away back down the stairs to start on dinner and thinking on how I could get James to talk to me.

Lizzy's P.O.V.

After I had left Nicole's I dicided to go and get my groceries before I went home so I pulled in to the Wal-Mart and walked in.

I was getting my yogurt when I turned around and came face to face with Liam the one from the coffee shop, I tried to turn around before he saw me but it was too late he had spotted me.

"Lizzy right?"

"um yea that's right"

"Do you know why Nicole got up so quickly I mean is she ok?"

"No I thought,Yes" I said to him

He looked at me like he didn't believe me so I had to lie

"she hasn't felt good for a couple of weeks, stomach flu"


"Are you sure she is not pregnant" he said laughing

I froze in place thinking he had figured it out, seeing the fear in my eyes he spoke up

"I was joking, you know to make you laugh"

I did a nervous laugh and looked away for a minute then back at him

"Well it was nice seeing you but I have to get going bye" I said walking away quickly

Nicole owes me big time for blowing off a hot guy and I am going to tell her that tommorow when I see her.
