Half a Heart

It had come way too fast for me, my Zayn and the others were leaving for the X-Factor today and I couldn't help be a little sad to see them leave. Zayn had been staying with El and I for two weeks and now I would have nobody to hold me and tell me they loved me and that made me feel worse, I was happy they were going but it still would be very lonely without their big mouths running around El's and I's house. We were walking to their gate and every step made me sicker..what if I got depressed again? what if Zayn met someone else? I shook it off and focused on only Zayn and I. We made it to the gate and Zayn turned to me and I was already crying "Kristin please don't cry it's only for four months" "I know but what if something goes wrong with the baby? what if i have problems?" "then I'll be back if you need me" He picked me up and spun me around and then sat me back down, he looked at me and I swore I saw a tear in his eyes "come here love" he took me in his strong arms and gave me a hug and I knew he wouldn't stay here even if I asked, and it wasn't because he didn't love me it was becuase he had a goal, all the boys did and that was to win the contract so they could make a lot of money and help raise my little one. "I love you so much Zayn" I said looking into his eyes "and I love you to the moon and back babe, I'll txt and skpe whenever I can" " okay" he let go of me and all the warmth I had just felt was gone when he let go of me. He took one look back at me and Louis took one more look at El and then they were gone and my heart went with Zayn. *three weeks had come and gone me and Elenour had been looking at names for the baby and had come up with a few, since I was four months pregnant now I would be starting to model again we had went to the doctor who said that it was to early to tell the sex of the baby yet. Zayn and the boys had been doing really well they already had fans who followed them everywhere and the judges seemed to be impressed by their songs and how they made the perfect band with Louis' being the leader with his angelic tone and Harry with his deeper tone, Liam and Zayn hitting the higher register and of course Niall could sing between deep and high, eveytime we watched them EL and I both started to cry and it wasn't because they were so good but it was becuase we missed them. Zayn had kept his promise and skped me pretty much every night before he went to bed and he let Louis talk to EL during this time to and everytime he told me that he loved me and the baby, he couldn't believe how much I had grown since he saw me last. The boys were just finishing up the boot camp part and now real compition started for those who made it to that round, we had sat down to watch them when I started to have series pain in my stomach and it wasn't the baby kicking, just then I felt something warm running down my leg and then I saw it "El!!!" she looked at me and smiled but she saw the panic on my face and her smile turned into worry then she looked down "oh shit" she said she called 911 and went to get me a towel she then called the boys more likely Zayn considering I was still watching them and Zayn always kept his phone on him even during performing so if I needed him I could reach him. I saw him put his hand to his pocket while still singing and then looked at the boys whose face turned from happy to worry and I knew they were worried about me but they still sang the best they could.The medics arrived and took me to the hospital Elenour rode with me and I looked at her "El I don't want to lose this baby" "you won't Kristin" at that her phone started to ring and I knew it was Zayn..."hello, Zayn hey...no were on are way to the hospital" "El let me talk to him" she handed the phone over "Zayn" "baby how are you, whats wrong?" "Zayn I think I'm losing this baby..I'm scared Zayn I'm so scared" I was crying and that was making my blood pressure go up (Medic guy) "she needs oxygen, her blood pressure keeps clibming" "KRISTIN!!!!! KRISTIN WHAT'S HAPPNING" I couldn't hear anymore I went limb and dropped the phone in the process I think but I didn't know because I was out after a minute.
Elenour's P.O.V. "Kristin!!!!" I picked up my phone which Zayn was still connected and he was frantic calling her name and I think he was crying "Zayn,," "Elenour what happened to her is she ok" "Zayn her crying made her blood pressure go up and she passed out they put oxygen on her so the baby could get oxygen" "El i'm coming home" "Zayn no then you wouldn't win you wouldn't finish what you started" "I don't care El I promised her if she needed me then I'd be home, I'm going to try and find somebody who knows where or what Simon's number is" "ok" "keep me posted El" "I will" then he hung up and I was scared for Kristin and the baby her life was at risk right now and so was the baby's. When we got to the hospital they took her to maternity floor and hooked her up to IV's and then the doctor ordered a couple different test which were ran, since Kristin was still out of it the doctor came to me "how is she doctor is the baby ok? is Kristin ok?" "yes their both ok" "then why was she bleeding?" "she could have had an early sign of pre-clampsea, besides it didn't harm niether baby and.." "wait what do you mean by niether baby?" "she didn't no about the second one I assume" I shook my head no "her doctor could only see one?" "well then that means that one was hiding in the shadows but it's not anymore, it was very clear when we did the ultrasound and we could tell what the babies are would you like to know?" "sure" "both are girls" I smiled "thank you doctor does she have to stay all night" "yes and when she goes home I would like her on bed rest for at least a week or more" "ok thanks again doctor" she smiled and walked away I took out my phone and dialed Zayn's number *ring,ring,ring* "hello Elenour how is she?" "she is ok..her and babies she just had a sign of pre-clampsea that's all you don't need to come down here I've got it under control" "wait did you say babies El?" I laughed "yes, one of them was hiding in the shadow of the other and the doctor said they got a clear view of them and could tell what they are do you and the boys want to know?" "yes" "put me on speaker phone then" "ok El were all here" Zayn said " El babe how's Kristin doing is she ok?" "yes Louis she is fine but the doctor went to check on the baby and discovered another one and guess what" "what" "their both girls so you can start picking out girl names for her." "that's amazing Elenour where's Kristin?" "she is asleep right now doctor put her on bed rest for at least a week maybe more it depends but she is fine and so are the babies so don't worry about her I've got it covered" "Are you sure El I found Simon and he said I could leave if I have to" "no were fine here I've got this you guys just focus on winning cuz um we got two babies instead of one." "ok thank you El for calling me and telling me how she is doing just tell her that I love her and that you told me not to come home" "ok I will Zayn bye guys I gotta get to Kristin's room now" "ok bye Elenour" I Shut my phone and began to walk to Kristin's room to see her and smiling from ear to ear she was going to have twin girls..oh all the shopping I can do for them.
Kristin's P.O.V. I woke up to the beeping of machines and when I opened my eyes there was Elenour sleeping in a chair just to the left of me, "El...El" she stirred and then opened her eyes seeing me she smiled "hey you your up" "yea El did I lose the baby" "nope actually you gained one" "what do you mean" "ok first off you had beging signs of pre-clampsea but you are better now and the doctor did an ultrasound to check out the baby and you my friend have another baby that was hiding in the shadow of the other but they saw it and they found out what they were you will want to know what they are their both girls congrats your having twin girls." I was in shock I was having twins wow "do I get to go home now?" "no you have to stay here for another well three hours it was over night but It's almost morning so we can go then" for the next three hours Elenour and I talked about what we still had to do considering I was four almost five months along now and we also discussed names for the babies. When it was time to go home they called a taxi for me Elenour and got me discharged, at home I went and layed down with my laptop I knew Zayn was just getting up and I deciced that he could skip his shower to talk to me. As soon as his face popped up in the screen I was smiling "hey baby how are you" he said with his deep morning voice "I'm good El and I just got home from the hospital what are you doing "I just got up I was up half the night worried about you until El called and said you were ok and told me not to come home" "Zayn who you talking to man...wait KRISTIN!!!" I laughed and then saw all the boys squezzing into the tight space so they could all see me and I could see them "hi boys did you miss me" "more like worried about you love how are you" "I'm fine Liam and how are you" " I'm good I miss your cooking but.." "yea so, hey I was wondering can you make beef stue when we get home" "seriously Niall will you stop thinking about your stomach for five minutes" I was rolling by this time and they were laughing hysterically because I was. "Boys if you don't hurry your going to be late for rehersal" "you guys need to go I'll talk more maybe later tonight" "ok bye" "bye boys" before he hung up he smiled at me " I love you to the moon and back babe I love you I love you I love you." " I love you to babe bye" when he finally hung up I fell back asleep and rest peacfully this time knowing I had two babies in me instead of one" I woke up to Elenour knocking on my door and opening it "Kristin I brought you food" " was that neccesary I would have walked to the kitchen and gotten it myself" "no you wouldn't the doctor said bed rest so I took off work and am here to help you" she said while putting the food down on my nightstand "El can I tell you something" "sure anything" "I'm scared i'm going to be a bad mom I mean messing up one kids life is a lot but what if I screw up both of them, I mean that's like death" she smiled to me "listen to me you will be a great mom I know it you are so caring and loving these babies will have a good life trust me you'll have a good paying job and Zayn and the boys are going to win that contract" "EL do you worry that Louis will find somebody else up there and dump you?" "no because I know Louis loves me and if your thinking that about Zayn stop it because your just trying to freak yourself out and that's not good for you stop worrying Zayn loves you" I sighed in relief and looked at my dinner she had read my mind or something because she had uncooked oatmeal peanut butter and oreo's. "you read my mind" she laughed "no I just watch what you've been picking up to eat an put it all together" "thank you" "after your done l'll your bathe water and help you out" "El I can bathe myself it'd be embarresing for me" "why where both girls it's not like you have something I don't" she said while rolling her eyes "in case you forgot El I've got a belly full of babies and you don't" I said laughing at my own self. She gave me a smirk and walked out of my room "were are you going?" "to let Oreo in of course" I started to munch on my dinner and when I was done I hollered for Elenour who came skipping in with a smile on her face "what did you do" "nothing I've been shopping online for the babies" "what did you find" "on nothing but cribs, a double seater stroller, a changing table, clothes, and a dresser or and hangers for the clothes" "Elenour really" "just let me have fun with this" I rolled my eyes and got out of bed while she skipped ahead of me and started the water in the bathe tub, I went to my closet and got Zayns t-shirt and a pair of his sweats to wear to bed. When I got to the batheroom the water was ready and so was Elenour I quickly got undressed and ELenour helped me in the tub and sit down. She washed my hair which I could've done and helped wash my back and below my stomach which was another thing that I could've done. After I was dired off I put on clean undies and Zayn's sweats and shirt "missing Zayn tonight" "how'd you know" "please I wear Louis's clothes when I'm missing him to" "oh just wish they were home right now and he was hugging me" "well here let me take a picture of you and send it to him" "ok" so EL got her phone and I posed sideways with my hand on my belly and she sent it to him saying Kristin missing you so much she is wearing your clothes can't believe they fit I smacked her for the last part.
