“Okay stop!” I giggled as Luke removed his hands from my waist. I don’t get why everyone thought it was so funny to tickle me lately. I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest, pretending to be mad.

“Kenz, can we talk about something?” Luke’s voice turned pretty serious.

“If that’s the tone you’re going with can we just make out more instead?” I sighed.

Luke and I had been snuggled into his bed ‘watching movies’ all morning. They had the last show in this city, Sao Paulo, tonight but didn’t need to be anywhere for a bit. I was doing what I told myself I had to do, test out my feelings for both of Calum and Luke. I was tucked into Luke’s side, with my head on his chest. I propped myself, looking him in the eye.

“How about we talk, then make out?” he shrugged with a chuckle.

“Fine, what’s on your mind?”

“The other morning when Ash found you and Calum in bed… did you guys you know…” he trailed struggling for the words.

“No Luke, we literally were talking and we fell asleep.”

“Why didn’t you have clothes on?”

“It was already late so he decided to stay and we wanted to be comfortable. I swear, nothing happened.”

“Nothing at all?”

“We might have kissed.” I sighed, lowering my head. As much as I didn’t want to mess things up with Luke, I felt the need to be honest.

“I’m a better kisser though, right?” he raised an eyebrow.

“I don’t know, I’m a hands on learner.” I smirked as he pulled me on top of him.

“Well let me remind you how it’s done.”

We connected in one swift motion, lips moving in perfect harmony. I felt bad because I knew I was stringing one of them along but I had to figure this out for myself. Maybe I’m selfish or maybe I just enjoyed the attention, either way I was doing everything for me and me only.

Our lips stayed attached until we heard fumbling around in the living room. Luke removed his hands from up my shirt as I crawled off of him, lying back down. I snuggled back into his side and we both turned our attention to the TV. The bedroom door swung open, revealing Mikey.

“American Pie.” He said looking at the screen. “What a classic.”

“Yeah, except for the part where Luke recite every line.” I giggled, nudging him in the side. He hadn’t been doing that today but that’s only because I kept him distracted. But they’ve watched it before at my house and I’ve noticed Luke would always say the funny lines.

“Yeah, he does that.” Mikey rolled his eyes.

“I’m not that bad.”

“Yes you are.” Mikey and I said at the same time, bursting into laughter.

“Whatever.” Luke rolled his eyes.

“We gotta bounce in like an hour man.” Mikey said after our laughter died down.

“Alright, I’ll be ready.” Luke said as Mikey headed back out into the living room.

“I don’t want you to go. I’m so comfy.” I pouted.

“Me too babe.” Luke sighed, placing a kiss onto my temple.

“Life of a rock star.” I rolled my eyes. He chuckled lightly.

“I should go shower.” He said, completely uncommitted.

“Are you excited for tonight?” I smiled.

“I’m always excited, especially when we can sell out a place more than once.” He really loved what he did. “Plus, we’re adding a song to the set list tonight so that’s sick.”

“Which one?” I asked, eager to know now.

“Looks like you’ll have to wait and see.” He winked.

“Come on Luke!” I whined. “Just tell me!”

“I have to shower.” He smirked, rolling out of bed, leaving me alone.

“JERK!” I yelled after him.

I decided I should probably go back to my room now and get ready. I headed into the living, only to be stopped by Michael.

“So what’s going on there?” he wiggled his eyebrows.

“I could ask the same thing.” I said motioning between him and Skylar curled up under a blanket on the couch, watching TV.

“Just causally watching some TV.” He shrugged, flicking the channel.

“Hand check.” I said, causing both of them to turn crimson red. “That’s what I thought.”

I shot Skylar a ‘we’ll talk later’ look and made my way over to my room. I placed the key in the slot and entered. I heard laughter as I rounded the corner into the room. Scarlett, Ashton, Calum and Piper were all sitting around giggling at god knows what.

“Shouldn’t you shits be getting ready?” I rolled my eyes.

“Yeah but fuck that.” Calum joked.

“She’s right, I need to shower.” Ashton sighed.

“Dibs!” Calum called getting up, running out of the door.

Ashton sat still, looking completely calm.

“Why aren’t you trying to beat him there?” I asked, curiously.

“He left his key in the room and I have mine, he can’t get in without me.” Ashton laughed. As soon as he finished his sentence there was a knock on our door. Piper and I were sharing a room this time around and I loved it. We gossiped all night and laughed at nothing and everything. I opened the door, Calum standing there as expected.

“I forgot I left my key in the room.” He pouted pulling me out into the hallway with him, the door slamming shut.

“What are you doing?” I whispered, maybe a little bit too harsh.

“I haven’t seen you all day!” he pouted more. “You’ve been hanging out with Luke and Mikey all day without me.”

“You could have come in at any point.” I giggled, thankful that he hadn’t though. At least he thought I was hanging out with the rest of the group, not making out with Luke all day.

“I guess.” He shrugged. “Guess what?”

“What?” I laughed at the way his face lit up when he asked.

“Our date is tomorrow night.” He smiled.

“How could I forget?” I joked, gently shoving his chest.

“We’ll be in Montevideo!” he said like a pro. “Our last stop in South America. I can’t believe it. We have tomorrow off, then the show the next night and then we go Europe.”

“I can’t wait for Europe.” I smirked.

“Amsterdam.” We said at the same time.

“I have to admit, those pot brownies were pretty good and it was funny watching Luke freak out.” he chuckled.

“We can get all sorts of shit there.” I smiled. “We should go on a date there.”

“And get high as fuck?” he smirked, knowingly.

“Yes, and get high as fuck.” I smiled as his hands found my waist.

“You’re pretty fucking cool Mackenzie Irwin.” He smiled before grazing his lips over mine.

That normal sting of guilt washed over me but left as fast as it came. I wanted to just know how I felt but it wasn’t that easy! I was only 18 for god sakes, how was I supposed to know which boy I loved! Liked, not loved, I reminded my brain. He pulled away as we heard another door opening. We separated quickly, Calum putting on a smile.

“What was I saying?” he said, making it seem like we were in a normal conversation.

“Oh just something about how awesome I am.” I smirked.

“Nothing false about that statement.” I laughed with me as Ashton shot us a curious glance when he fully emerged from the room.

“Hold that open!” I shouted. “I’ll see you later.” I smirked at Calum as I pushed past him.

I heard him mutter an almost silent, “Damn right you will.” As I passed him.

“Be careful.” Ashton eyed me as I walked past him into my room.

“I’m never careful.” I stuck out my tongue slamming the door.

I went farther into the room, finding Scarlett and Piper snuggled up next to each other. Being the brat I am, I wedged my way into the middle. This wasn’t unusual for us. We generally liked to be close to one another, cuddling or snuggling was something we often did. It was second nature for my group of friends and me. We didn’t care what anyone else thought. We loved each other. It wasn’t a cuddle in a lesbian type way, just the best friend; I’m always here for you type deal.

“Fuck off Kenz!” Scar laughed at me.

“Spill dets, go.” I said, without missing a beat.

“Scar and Ashton cuddled while we watched the movie.” Piper ratted her out.

“So?!” she glared over at Pipe.

“Nothing, that’s cute.” I smiled. “Piper? Any advancements?”

“I tried, he threw his arm around me at one point.” She shrugged. I felt my heart drop a little. Wait, I can’t be mad, I was snogging Luke senseless all morning long. It’s not fair of me to get jealous. “It wasn’t anything to write home about.”

“It looked pretty innocent.” Scarlett added.

“Yeah, it was nothing like those two.” Piper nodded at Scarlett.

“Shut up!” Scar turned beat red.

“I would wash your sheets.” Piper winked.

“Ew you nasty.” I joked, knowing they couldn’t have done anything that bad with Calum and Piper in the room. “Skylar’s over there curled up in a blanket, pressed against Mikey. She may be the closest out of all of us.”

“Wow, go Sky!” Scar cheered.

“I’m honestly surprised.” Piper added.

“Me too!” I said. “I wasn’t aware Mikey had an interest in girls yet.”

“What about you?” Scarlett asked.

“What about me?” I said, knowing exactly what she meant.

“What did you and Luke do all morning?”

“Cuddled, kissed a little.” I shrugged. “We watched a movie, that’s all.”

“I thought for damn sure you would at least given him some head or something by now!” Scarlett said, shocked, always the vulgar one.

“Ew Scar, no. I might be a badass but I still take things a bit slow.” I snickered.

“I’m just curious to hear what Sky is getting herself into.” Piper laughed.

(At concert)

The girls and I were at the concert, watching the guys preform. I hadn’t heard anything different yet but I was waiting. We were gossiping and joking around the entire time, like usual. We had gotten the fact that Skylar had given Mikey a hand job this morning, which cracked us all up because she thought it was so ‘year 8’. She was currently the closest to winning the bet since she had technically gotten the farthest.

The boys were rocking out to ‘Out of My Limit’, not one of my favorites but naturally I knew all the words. The song ended and instead of going straight into another song they stopped to talk for a bit. They really sounded like morons most of the time. The girls and I would always stop whatever we were doing when they talked so we could make fun of them later for it. This time was no different.

“Hey Luke.” Calum said into his microphone.

“Yeah man?” Luke answered.

“You ever have a girl where you like her so much and you share these special moments with her but then you guys have to be apart for a while?” Calum asked.

The girls and I looked at each other, unsure of where they were going with this.

“Yeah, I think I’ve had one girl like that before.” Luke nodded, the crowd going wild.

Girls, he basically just told you about a girl he dated, you shouldn’t be cheering, you should be mad he isn’t in love with you. Isn’t that how fangirling worked?

“You ever just feel like you have to see her again?” Calum added.

“All the time, how about you?” Luke smirked back at him.

“Dude, there’s this one girl that I feel like I always need to see.” Calum said.

“Man, I hope you aren’t talking about the same girl.” Ashton joked.

I had a feeling deep down inside of me they were though, without even knowing it. And I also had a strange feeling it was me. I didn’t want to seem overconfident but I just had a feeling.

“That would be awkward.” Mikey laughed along with Ashton.

“What about you Ash?” Calum tried. “Ever have a special moment with a girl and just need to see her again?”

“Yeah, all these lovely ladies in the audience here in Sao Paulo here tonight! I want to kiss every single one of you!” Ashton shouted, always the crowd pleaser. “This one’s called Kiss Me, Kiss Me! Sing along if you know it!” So this was the song they added to the set list, interesting.

Ashton clicked his drumsticks together as Luke and Mikey ripped out the first chord on their guitars. They’re musical talent honestly blew my mind away from them being so young. I had no talent, so maybe I was just jealous.

“Why do I have a feeling that Cal and Luke were talking about you, Kenz?” Scarlett looked over at me.

“I had the same thought.” Piper added.

“Same.” Skylar said, not looking up from her phone.

“Yeah, okay I doubt that.” I rolled my eyes brushing it off. But something about the way Ashton said he hoped it wasn’t the same girl made me believe it too. Ashton always knows best.

“Whatever you say babe.” Scarlett said as the chorus started. “KISS ME KISS ME KISS ME AND TELLLLLL ME THAT I’LL SEE YOU AGAIN!” she sang, pulling me in close to her. I giggled, joining her.

“CAUSE I DON’T KNOW, IF I CAN LET YOUUUUU GOOOO!” I smiled.

“SO KISS ME KISS ME KISS ME, I’M DYING JUST TO SEE YOU AGAIN!” Piper joined.

“LET’S MAKE TONIGHT THE BEST OF OUR LIVES!” Skylar sang loudly.

“YEAAAHHHH, HERE’S TO TEENAGE MEMORIES!” we all finished off the chorus together.

We all laughed but couldn’t stop rocking out. The girls and I finished the entire concert on our feet, singing loudly and off key. The guy’s energy was beyond contagious. I was starting to like my brother’s band, in more ways than one. Lord help us all. Badass Kenz was fading into a softy, which just wasn’t going to cut it. That’s for damn sure.

Hi babes, sorry it has taken me so long to update. Life has been hetic with school and work. It's rough but I managed to whip this up. I apologize for any errors, it's nearly 5 in the morning here!
