Chapter 42
Hannah P.O.V
I wake up to the smell of alcohol, not the one you drink but the one that helps you get clean.
"Where am I" I ask myself.
I was on a bed and there was curtains around me so I couldn't see the other side and the other side couldn't see me.
Pushing through the crowd; bumping into people; there's a clearing; my eyes shift towards the sight on the floor; Niall bloody and Liam holding onto his unconcious body; my vision gets blurry and it's going downwards; blackness. That's what I have recollected.
I must be in the nurse's office.. and so should Niall.
"NIALL!" I yell, hoping that he would respond. I hear a groan from my right, that must be him.
I hop off the bed and wince at my head ache and hold my forehead, I feel a bump.. must of gotten it from my fall.
I swipe open the curtain and there he was, Niall. He was cleanse and had bandages, like he had one on his right hand which rested upon his head trying to block light. He sat up and rubbed his eyes.
"Ni?" I spoke and am now standing beside his bed. I rest my hand on top of his left one.
He flinched at my touch and pulled his hand away and looked at me weirdly. But then his face softened.
"Why, hello there. How you doin'?" he grinned.
Why was he acting this way? More of a child than his usual self.
"Ni?" I ask with my eyebrow furrowed.
"Do I know you? Because if I did I would have remembered a pretty face." I was getting frustrated.
"HANNAH!" I turn and see Liam with everyone else, "You're awake."
"And you're awake. Lie back down, would you?" Niall just laughed and shook his head.
"I feel better, Li. I want to sit up." Ni said, Liam just huffed and nodded.
"What the hell is going on?" I demanded answers.
"Erm.. Hannah, he has some memory loss." Harry stuttered, I just stared at them with a blank expression trying to grasp the fact that my boyfriend doesn't even know me.
"You guys know her? Is she our friend?" Niall chippered, everyone glared at him.
"Yeah, a friend." I mumbled.
"No she isn't, well she is our friend." Zayn gestured towards their group. "But, she's your girlfriend." he pointed at Niall.
"Girlfriend?" he was now standing facing me on the opposite side of the bed, he was clearly unhappy.
Tears formed at the corners of my eyes, they were about to fall so I didn't want anyone to see it. I made a dash for the door but someone grabbed my arm, stopping me.
Niall P.O.V
I didn't want to leave this subject like this, I didn't want her to walk out, I didn't want her to be upset.
So, I did what my insticts told me to do. I grabbed her arm gently and she hesitated to turn around but did. Everyone quietly left the room knowing we wanted- no- needed some privacy.
"Hannah, that's your name isn't it?" I asked, she nodded her head slowly but her eyes were glued to the ground, "Hannah, I didn't mean to react that way."
'But, you did." she said coldy, she looked up and seeing her so sad made me break and hurt for some reason. It's like my heart still knows what I felt- feel - for her.
"I did and it was wrong, I'm sorry." I let go of her arm and she looked back down to the floor, "I just was surprised that I had- have, sorry- a girlfriend because I waited so long to find the right one."
She mumbled something that I didn't hear.
"What?" I asked, she looked back up and wiped some tears away.
"You told me that I was the one. But, I guess I'm not anymore." she choked on the last sentence and turned to leave again.
I grabbed her hand and felt elctricity, odd, but anyways I spun her around and she accidentally tripped causing her to fall into my arms.
"You could still be the one.." I whispered, I could feel her breathe on my lips as we looked into each other's eyes, "Just give me another chance to remember. Because I'm pretty sure I still have feelings for you."
She smiled, she looks so pretty when she smiled.
"Okay." she whispered.
YES! SHE AGREED! I just basically met her but, I know I can start to remember her. I just know it.
"Dinner tonight?" I ask as we pulled away.
"Erm, we can't." she said, my smile faded away. "Oh no, Ni. It's not that I don't want to, we can't." She emphasized the 'can't'.
"Why can't we?" I used the same tone.
"Well.." she started, it seems that Louis has a plan for her best mate, April, and we need to help them.
"Okay, sure." I asnwered after she asked if I was still in.
"By the way, we should get going to the flat to start getting ready." she pulled me towards the door.
"Oh yeah, let's go." I agreed.
We turned a few corners and were in the cafeteria, it was empty except for our group of friends who decided to wait for us there, I think school was over by now.
"Let's go home, guys." Hannah smiled, the lads looked at our intertwined hands and grinned, I felt my cheeks go rosy red.
"Sure, see you soon ladies." they say to Hannah's friends. Mental note, I need to ask them their names..

So, we were all in the van heading towards home when I got a text.
I opened it and it was from Lou.
LouBoo: Hey, It seems you're back together with our Irish lad, aye?
I smiled at the text and looked at Lou who was just wiggling his eyebrows, I shook my head while I typed.
Hannah <3: Not really, I don't know! I just know that he wants to remember me, he wants to remember us. I guess we'll find out soon. :">
I look up at Lou who just smiled sweetly at me and nodded. We both kept our phones.
Niall looked at me and smiled, he locked our hands together and kissed my head.
He still loves me, I just have that feeling. Even though his mind might have been cleansed about me but his heart still knows me.
