Chapter 3
April P.O.V
We all entered the loud room that seemed close enough to heaven. Well, highschool heaven. Everyone was wearing masks and they couldn't even tell that our group were the outsiders. We all felt like we were accepted, we finally felt good. We were all grinning, except Hannah. I looked to my right and heard her weezing and hyperventalating. I wrapped my arm around her and said, "Hannah?? Hannah?? What's wrong??". She said in between the deep breaths, "Im...just....so....happy...!" I smiled and she returned one big one as well. All 5 of us went to the dance floor and created a small circle for our group and danced along to Levels by Avicii. Hannah was singing to the song and so did I. We were having the time of our lives! Not caring what other people thought of us, not caring if they thought we danced retardedly, or that people stared and laughed. Tonight. Nobody knew us and we everyone was nobody to us. Having our best friend moments were the only thing that cared to us.
Hannah P.O.V
After the song, I started getting thirsty and told the girls to keep dancing while I went to get some punch. They all nodded while jumping up and down to the music. I glanced back at my friends and thought, "I truly have the best-est friends I could ever wish for..." then my train of thought was interrupted by a guy bumping into me. Niall P.O.V
The lads and I were looking at the dance floor while sitting down at our V.I.P table. Then, a group of 5 girls caught my eye. They were laughing, jumping, screaming, dancing funny, and just having a good time. I was smiling so wide at one girl especially. "Mate, I see you smiling!!" Liam said while emphasizing on the word smiling. "Am not." I said. "Are too!" They all exclaimed. "Fine, What if I am?" I hissed at them. "It's a different kind of smile.." Harry explained, "The smile of looking at a girl!" Louis finsihed his sentence. The high fived each other while I gave them a glare. "Mate, It's fine if you're looking at a girl, you know." Zayn reassured me. "I never said I was looking at a girl!" I answered. "WE ALL KNOW YOU WERE!! JUST ADMIT IT!" They all joked around saying. "Fine! I was. It's just that.. she caught my eye. She's seems different guys." I confessed. "Knew it!" Louis exclaimed. "Louis!" Liam said angrily as he saw I was starting to form a frown. "I didn't mean to rub it in, Niall." I looked at him slowly, "It's just that.. We've never seen you smile like that before." Louis said. I stood up while he was talking to me because I didn't want to hear them talking about a freaking smile anymore. I heard them calling my name but, I didn't care to look around. I was just focusing my direction on the floor while walking. I was playing with my hair and had put on my under cover wig when the paparazzis are too much to handle with, I use it a lot.. usually when I get frustrated or nervous so that people can't recognize me. I was done fixing my hair while walking until I bumped into someone. "OW." she said, "IM SO SORRY.." I said while my eyes was set on the most beautiful person Ive ever seen. The girl from the dance floor, the girl whom I was smiling at.
Hannah P.O.V
I fell down due to the height of my heels and the impact of the bump. I was now on my bum looking up at the person who I suspect is the one who made me this way. "IM SO SORRY.." He said with a distinct accent, I think I've heard his voice before but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. "Oh, It's fine. Just a little out of balance, that's all." I told the mystery guy. He smiled and said, "No. It's my fault. I bumped into you, you arent out of balance." he laughed. HIS LAUGH, It's so attractive, HE'S so attractive. Hannah! Stop it! You've only met the guy now. Shut up.. "Hello??" The brown haired guy said while waving his hand infront of my face. I swapped his hand and said, "Sorry, I like my personal space." Waving my hands around me. He chuckled and held out his hand for me to take. I reached for it, placing my hand on top of his as he pulled me gently back up. Since my stupid heels were so hard to get used to, I tripped and fell into his arms. I blushed as he looked down at me smiling and I slowly stepped back while saying, "Clumsy me. Clumsy, clumsy me.' I said weakly. I guess he heard me becuase he was cracking up now. I turned around making my way for the punch bowl once again until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I was spun around to see it was the guy.. AGAIN. "James, James Holland." he introduced, "You are?". "Hannah, Hannah Hart" I said in that James Bond kind of way. We both laughed up until another guy came to us and cut infront of me talking to James saying, "Mate, it's almost time to perform." He had a British accent, his voice was familiar as James was too. I shrugged it off as James exclaimed, "AHEM. MATE." Nodding his head towards me. "Oh I apologize...." "Hannah." "I apologize Hannah." James' friend said. "No problem at all." I smiled smugly. "HAHA. She's a keeper Niall." he said while James' face had a worried expression to it. "Niall? Who's Niall" I asked. "No one. It's just a nick name because he's weird." He said while pushing his friend away. "Oh. Okay. That's weird. Anyways, It seems like you're busy. So, I guess.. Nice meeting you James and.." "James Lane." "James? You're friends with a guy named James as well? How ironic!!" We all laughed but, the two James' laughter seemed kind of awkward. I just brushed it off and waved goodbye to my new acquaintances.
Niall P.O.V
"LIAM!!!" I screamed while flailing my arms up. "WHAT DID I DO??" He replied doing the same actions as I did. "I was already comfortable talking to her up until James number 2 decides to cut in." I puffed out. "Im sorry, JAMES. Why the hell are you using your under cover name and under cover wig?" he whisper-yelled at me while pulling my wig off. "DUDE. WE'RE IN PUBLIC." "PUBLIC?! That's your excuse?? We're the guest of honors in this party! You don't have to use the props!" he said. "I didn't want you guys to find me, alright?!" I said while I had tears in my eyes. "Niall. I didn't mean to make you sad.. Why wouldn't you want us to find you, mate?" he said calmly to me while patting my back. "You guys were just so annoying with a simple SMILE. So, I just didn't want you guys grinding on me with the subject. It's hard enough being the one who never had a girlfriend ever since I was famous...." I explained. "Niall, Im so sorry. I know the guys are too. That's why I interrupted as well. We wanted to apologize to you before we go up on stage to sing." He said now standing straight infront of me. "Well... Apology accepted. But, after the performance. YOU have to find that girl again. I think I really like her.." I said, not noticing that I had a little smile creeping on my face. "Oh man, There's that smile again.." Liam punched my arm playingly. "Oh. My. God. IS THAT THE GIRL YOU WERE SMILING AT THE FIRST TIME?!" He whisper-yelled at me. I nodded yes hesitantly, he jumped up and down, up until the rest of the lads found us. "What's Liam jumping about?" Zayn asked. "WE HAVE TO FIND THE GIRL AFTER THE PERFORMANCE" Liam exclaimed. "SHUSH!!" I said. TOO LATE. Liam told them the story and agreed to find my mystery girl, Hannah Hart.
