Arabella POV

University is almost done for me I am going to graduate this year finally, all my hard work and almost dropping out on my final year I have come this far. I have had no help from neither of my parents nor Alex.

I have made myself proud and at the end of the day that is the only thing that really matters. Alex will be out by the time my graduation rolls by and he promised me that he would make it, you know what despite our past history I think we have move passed it and still remained good friends.

I cannot hate Alex he has always been there for me when I was at my lowest point in my life, he helped me get through many of my fears that I used to have. He was a really good guy I just think, he needs some things to work on his drinking and drug abuse is a huge thing he has to work on which I can see a little bit of progress been made.

I do visit him from time to time he is changing a little bit, but one thing has not changed though his attitude in life. No matter how many flaws he has in his life he still looks at the positive end of the circle. I personally love that about him that is why when I ended our relationship I decided to still stay in contact with him and remain friends.

I was just about to wrap up my shift from my work to go and visit Marcel, it has been a long time since I last saw him so I was kind of nervous at the same time excited. He wanted to cancel our plan, I know that something is wrong with him now because he isn’t usually like this he never cancels any plans.

I went to the restaurant that we usually eat from and I got a take out, I was planning to drive to his house and surprise him with this I also rented his favourite movie so we could enjoy our night better.
