Angel's and Demon's

"Can I know where we're going?" I ask Niall as we drive over the mountain, entering Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

"Nope." He glances at me with a smile on his face.

"Better not be anywhere fancy." I glare at him.

He parks in a parking garage and we get out. He opens my door and helps me out, although I'm capable of doing it myself.

"Why can't I know where we're going?" I whine, following him down the sidewalk.

"Because. You already know." He smirks at me, grabbing my hand.

"Is this some kind of mind trick?" I ask as we turn the corner.

"Yes." He laughs.

"Alright. We're here." He says, opening two doors and letting me walk through.

"I just thought a simply dinner for our first date." He smiles.

"Oh, so you're planning on having more after this? And what if I hate it? What if I tell you to move out after tonight?" I joke.

"Eh. I have confidence. Plus, you couldn't get rid of me that easily." He says making me laugh.

"And then we both went rolling down the mountain." We laugh at my story.

"But the best part is, it was October. Which means it was the first snow we had so it wasn't even snow. It was like slush and it made the ground so wet. So by the time we got half way down, you couldn't tell we were human. We were big orange creatures. Like giant umpa lumpas." I say and he laughs.

"That's too great." He chuckles, taking a bite of his steak.

I can't remember the last time I went on a real date. But I never thought about Niall and I going on one. But I guess you never know what the future holds. My life has been twisted in so many ways you never know what'll happen next.

"Thank you." He starts, leaving a confused look on my face

"For agreeing to come tonight." He smiles, taking my hand.

"It's nothing. You've always been here for me. You know pretty much everything about me." I laugh.

Excelt the fact that I'm an angel, there's a demon who claimed me, and an angel who is trying to protect me.

"I have one question though." I say, looking at my food. He nods, urging me to continue.

"Why did you ask me out? I mean, why me?" I furrow my eyebrows, looking up at him.

"Isn't it obvious?" He says in a duh tone. I just look at him expectantly.

"I really like you Ash." He shrugs.

"But why?" I ask, curiously.

"I don't know. It's just something about you. Maybe it's the way you crinkle your eyes when you laugh, or the way your dimples show when you smile. I can't tell you exactly why I love you. I just know it's you that I love. Everything about you. It's not just one particular thing. It's everything put together in one person. Everything in you." He takes me by surprise with his words.

I dont know what to say. It was such a surprise. It still is. Especially three simple words.

I love you.

I know its been forever since I updated. I've been stuck on my other stories and school. Plus I've started another book and my friends are reading that one (its in an actual journal) and they've been bugging me everyday to keep writing
