“Happy birthday!!” Someone yelled and I darted up from my bed. “What?” I asking sleepily. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!” I turned over to see Hannah, Oli, Lillia, and 5sos standing there. Oli had a plate of food in his hands. I rolled over on my back and he sat the food tray down on my lap and smiled at me. “Thanks guys.” I smiled. “Now hurry up and eat! Then you need to get ready. It’s going to be a big day.” Hannah smiled.

I ate the pancakes and vegan bacon (Facon) and got up out of my bed. I stretched until I was dizzy. I asked Hannah to come here and help me get ready. I begged her to tell me what we were doing, but she was no help at all. She picked out my outfit and left so that I could get dressed. I’m really fucking curious about today. I got dressed and walked out to the living room.

The room didn’t have the normal tension in it. That was weird, both Lillia and Hannah were in there. Maybe Lillia apologized or something. “Let’s go.” Oli smirked and took us to a giant limo that was out front. “Awe Oli, Hannah, thank you guys.” I smiled and hugged them both. All 7 of us piled into the limo and we drove for quite some time. When we got out we were in London. “Well,” Hannah sighed, “Since your middle name is London, we figured why not take you here, since you’ve never been.” That was amazing of them oh my god.

We toured around London in the limo first, and then we got out and walked around. I pointed to the giant London Eye Ferris Wheel, “I want to go!” I shouted and started running there. “No, no, not yet!” Oli shouted and grabbed me by the waist. I huffed and we ended up at this restaurant. “Best place in London.” Oli smiled and we went inside.

I ordered the sushi and French fries. Yeah I know, weird combination, but oh well. The boys ordered theirs and so did Lillia, Oli, and Hannah. “So you guys have been really quiet today.” I laughed looking at the boys. “Haha… yeah.” Luke laughed awkwardly. “Well stop.” I laughed taking a bite of French fry. Ashton scooched closer to me and smiled at me. I smiled back and kissed his cheek. “So are you guys like… together?!” Hannah winked and we looked at each other and back at her, “No,” Ashton laughed, “We’re just friends.”

I started freaking out. Is that all he thinks of us as?! Friends?!? I hope not! I really, really like this guy. “Yeah, just friends.” I said and smiled. “Whatever!” Michael laughed. “All he can talk about is you!” I felt hot, I was blushing really bad right now, I tried to hide it but it didn’t work. He took my hand and interlocked our fingers. “Liar! I talk about a lot of other things too!” Ashton defended. They all just laughed and argued about it for a while. “Okay we have to leave!” Oli said and dragged Hannah out of the booth. “Here’s money for the food. The limo driver knows where to go next!” He shouted and hurried out of the restaurant.

God today was weird. After the restaurant we went to the zoo, and then the mall and shopped for a little bit, and then Hannah texted me and told me we needed to tell the limo driver to go to the next place ASAP. So we hurried back to the limo and we drove for 10 minutes or so and were told to get out of the car. At the door stood Hannah with a bag. “Hurry, go put this on.” She said and Lillia showed me to the bathroom. I changed into the beautiful black dress, black heals, and used the makeup and hair stuff that was in the bag.

I walked out and Lillia smiled, “You look nice.” We walked out of the bathroom and then she showed me to another room that was very dark. She turned on the light and 50, maybe 100 people jumped out and shouted surprise. I laughed and shouted thank you. “Damn, 18 already?!” Austin Carlile, of the band Of Mice & Men asked and hugged me. “18 already Aussie.” I laughed and squeezed him. I walked around and greeted everyone and told them thank you for coming.

“Now for the good part.” Ashton said and threw my over his shoulders. He carried me over to the bar. “OH MY GOD YES OLI I LOVE YOU!!” I shouted and asked the mixer for something fruity. He gave me something, I don’t know what. But it was so good. Then I asked for a couple shots of whiskey and he handed me 2. Ashton took one and I took the other. We took the shots and immediately I felt the burn, but it was so good.

I had a few more drinks and began loosening up. “Come danceeee!” I purred to Ashton. Before he could answer I pulled him by the arms to the dance floor and we were dancing to Breathe Carolina I think it was, it was some sort of electric stuff. I think I was drunk. “I’m so wasted.” I laughed as I grinded on Ashton. “It’s cool me too.” He said and grabbed my boobs, making me jump. I slipped and fell on the floor. I laid there laughing my ass off, Austin came up and asked if I was okay. I just laughed. I couldn’t stop laughing. “Are you okay Tori?” He laughed back and I just nodded and he walked off.

Ashton helped me up and brought me to a booth. “Okay now that everyone is wasted, it’s present time!” Oli shouted into the mic. They all crowded around the table and Oli, Ashton, and Hannah sat next to me. I opened present, after present, after present, but I loved them all. I got some weird shit, as a gag gift Chris Motionless, got me a dildo. Like who does that?! Chris does. Chris does. Then I got some alcohol, and some things for my lake house. And at the end Ashton handed me a box, it wasn’t small, but it wasn’t huge either. In the box was two smaller boxes. I opened one and it was a diamond necklace. I hugged him tightly and kissed his cheek, “Hey now,” Chris laughed, “I bought you a dildo.” And everyone busted out laughing. “Come here Chris.” I laughed and kissed his cheek. Ashton handed me the other box that was wrapped. I unwrapped it and it was a box of cigarettes “Oh my god thank you.” I laughed and hugged him again. There were multiple bands there, and I kind of wanted to hear them play each other’s songs, but everyone was too drunk for that.

“Okay one last thing.” Hannah smiled. “Yes?” I questioned. “You and Ashton are going on the London eye!!” She shouted and I smiled, “Thank you guys.” “Just come right back here afterwards.” Oli laughed. Ashton and I got up and with his necklace on me, and the pack of smokes in my pocket we left. I took a smoke and lit it. I took drag after drag until the whole thing was gone. I hadn’t smoked in a long time. “You have saved my life with these things.” I laughed and threw my arms around him.

He was tall, a lot taller than me. I turned around so that I was walking backwards and put my arms around his neck. We both stopped and he bent down and kissed me. We kissed for a good 30 seconds and broke apart. “You’re a really good kisser.” I laughed and he did too. “You are too.” He cooed and we were there, the beautiful London Eye. We handed the guy our tickets and got onto one of the seat things. It was late, and it was just us in the thing, it was so sweet of Hannah and Oli to do that.

I cuddled up with Ashton and felt the giant ferris wheel turn go around. We stopped at the top and the stars looked amazing. It made me smile. “You’re more beautiful than all of the stars in the sky.” Ashton whispered into my ear and I felt a tear fall from my eye. “Awe Ash…” I smiled and kissed him. “I mean it.” He said and the ferris wheel stopped. We were at the bottom. That was the best thing about the whole day honestly.

We walked back to the party hall thing and sat down at one of the tables. “So,” He asked, “Can you tell me about Chase? You don’t have to, I just, I feel like he hurt you, a lot and I’m here for you.” I sighed and put my hand on his cheek, “Later.” I said and walked over to Oli. “Hey mate. I’m tired. Did you do hotels here? Or do we go back to Sheffield?” “There’s a hotel room for you here. Just tell the driver, here’s the key, and here’s one for Ashton.” He smiled and handed me two keys. I hugged him tightly and told him thank you for the amazing party.

I asked Ashton if he wanted to come back and he nodded. He got into the limo and he drove us to the hotel. Our room was on the top floor, room 602. When we got there I sat down on the couch and let out a huff. “So, tell me?” He asked and sat down next to me. I sighed, “You’re never going to give up are you?” “Nope.” He laughed shaking his head. “Fine.”


“Chase was a guy I met when I first moved in with Lidia. Chase Richardson was his name. When I met him, he was 20, and he looked, fairly normal. My foster mom didn’t really ever care what I did, so a lot of the time I would stay over at Chase’s, and one time I was over there, and we were talking about stuff that had happened to us, our weaknesses, and everything else you could think of. I loved him, and he led me to believe he loved me too. One night, about a month ago,” I said whipping a tear from my eye,
“I was staying the night at his house, he told me I looked hideous with all of my cuts, though he himself had them. Then he laughed at me. And told me I was fat, and disgusting, and he hit me. He hit me repeatedly.” I lifted up my shirt to reveal a scar over my ribs. “He threw a lamp at me and it hit my stomach my lung was almost punctured and I almost died. He was arrested. But he’s only in there until next month.”

“Oh my god, Tori…” Ashton said and hugged me tightly. “God I’m so sorry.” He kissed me lightly and hugged me again. “I’m so fucking sorry.” He said again. “It’s okay Ashton. Now that I’m with Oli, he’ll protect me.” I sighed. “I’d be here all the time if I could.” He whispered. “Don’t stop your life for me. We can Skype and stuff.” I smiled. “I leave on Tuesday.” “I know…”

I had never told anyone about Chase before. Oli, Hannah, and Lillia were the only ones who knew. But no one knew about the child I miscarried with him… no one knew about that…
