If You Don't Know

“I’M HOME!!” Someone chimed. The boys were gone, all but Calum who was up in my room, Oli and Hannah were here too, and Anna was with Calum. I walk out of the kitchen and see Lillia standing there I almost dropped the plate of food I had in my hands. I run upstairs and grab Oli “What is it Tori?!” He shouts and stops in his tracks when he sees Lillia. “Dear god.” He whispers.



“You’re not welcome here anymore.” He said to her and she walked up to him, “Come on brother! We’re family.” She cooed. “No. Tori is my family, Hannah is my family, and Anna is my family. YOU are nothing but a waist of space.” He hissed.“God brother, let me in, you know you miss me!!” She was drunk as shit. “Listen here, Lillia, get out, and don’t come back.” She scoffed and left the house, but not before flipping us off.




Hannah came downstairs and asked what happened, we told her, but she wasn’t paying much attention, their wedding was coming up, and she was nervous as shit. It was next week. “So, Tori, I want you to be my maid of honor for my wedding, and Anna to be my little flower girl. We have to go shopping today though.” She smiled and I nodded. “Totally! Let me see call Ashton and see if he can watch Anna.” I smiled and pulled out my phone.




“Hey Ash.” I said awkwardly. “Hey Tori.” He replied. “Can you watch Anna for a few hours?” “Yeah, I’ll be there in a few minutes.” He said and hung up. “Looks like we’re going shopping!” I smiled and she hugged me, “Thank you so much Tori.” Ashton showed up soon and I told him he had to stay here, I hugged Oli and Calum goodbye and Hannah and I left.





“What are your wedding colors?” I asked, “Turquoise and black.” She smiled and I nodded. “I just want you to wear a dress and shoes though, the dress I have in mind wouldn’t work well with jewelry.” She said. We got to the bridal store and we started looking at dresses. She showed me the one she wanted me to wear and I smiled, “It’s really cute.” I said and went to try it on. It looked amazing. “Oh my god Tori.” She said, kind of, she was almost speechless. “Let’s find yours now!!” I shouted and we went through a shit ton of wedding dresses.




Is it normal for people to shop for their wedding dresses the week before the wedding? I laughed a little. We were also going to get our hair and makeup done, just to test it all out. Then she walked out, “Oh my god Hannah you look, oh my god.” I smiled at her, “So yes?” She asked and I frantically shook my head. “Yes please!” this was getting real, and I’m so excited!!



Ashton was sitting with Calum and Oli and was playing with Anna. I smiled and Ashton handed Anna to Calum and asked to talk to me. We went into my room and closed the door. “Are you sure about this?” He asked and I nodded. “Why though? Why after 7 months of being happy?” “Because, once it finally sank in that, our whole relationship was a lie, we lost our spark Ashton, there’s nothing we could do about it. I’m 19 and I have a fucking child, I live with my 2 best friends. I think it’s for the best.” “But why Calum?! Why him?!” He hissed. “I don’t know, it was kind of a spur of the moment thing I DON’T KNOW WHAT I WANT OKAY.” I cried out.



“Tori calm down, just calm down okay. Why don’t you just… take a break for guys for a while? Clear your head? Get away.” “For once Ashton, I think you’re right.” I said and walked downstairs into the living room “Everything okay?” Hannah asked and I nodded. “Hannah, I know your wedding is next week, and I’m still going to be in it and there, but I’m going to take Anna, and we’re going to London for the rest of the day and tomorrow. If you guys don’t mind, but if you want me here to help you a can.” “Let us keep Anna Tori, you need some time.” Oli smiled. “And Calum…” I sighed, “Totally understand,” He smiled, “We still have to be mates though.” Him and Ashton hugged me and left.



“Thank you guys so fucking much.” I hugged them both. “Bye baby, I’ll see you tomorrow!” I hugged and kissed Anna and went up to my room to pack a bag. I finished packing and thought that maybe instead of London, I’d just go to the lake house… I hadn’t been there in ages. I told them goodbye again, got in my car, and drove there. It was the same as it was about a year ago. It was perfect.



I unlocked the door and smiled, exactly as I had remembered. The blue walls with my drawings on it, the hardwood floor, the couch bed Ashton and I slept on… exactly like it was when I left last. I sighed and threw my bag down. I pulled out my laptop and began digging through old files, there was one, of me singing, but I didn’t want to be famous, for Annabelle’s sake, I could too, I’ve always been told my singing was angelic, but, I want to be as normal as I can be.



I was thinking of jobs I qualified for. Nothing, because I didn’t have a college degree. Fucking. Could I model maybe? Is that normal? Nope, I’d be too bad for that. Ugh fuck okay… I don’t know. I really, don’t know. I called this community theatre, and asked if they were hiring, so guess who now has a job!!
