Take My Heart
Chapter Two
Emma quickly pulled her door shut before shaking her hair out, droplets splattering onto the floor. She took of her coat and hung it up on the coat hanger and slipped off her shoes. Her flatmate, Kristen had just dropped her coat on the floor as per usual. Rolling her eyes, she grabbed it off the floor and put it beside her coat.
"Kristen?" She called. "Krist - oh for god's sake, KRISTEN!"
She heard quick little footsteps and then Kristen stuck her head round the door. "Hey!"
"Hi." She sat down on the sofa and motioned for Kristen to do the same. "You won't believe who I met."
"Who?"
"Harry Styles."
Her eyes widened. "Really?"
"No, I'm lying. Yes, of course I really met him."
"Cool. Was he nice?"
"Yeah, I kinda ended up giving him my number."
Kristen raised her eyebrows. "How?"
"Well he was talking to me, and then I kinda ignored him for a bit." Seeing, Kristen rolling her eyes, she shrugged. "He's not my type! Anyway, I felt bad, so I gave him my number. He probably won't text, but whatever."
"If he fancies you he will."
"Maybe he just wants a friend."
Kristen's eyebrows looked like they were millimetres away from shooting off her head. "Maybe." She said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Maybe he wants a parent figure. Or maybe, he's 21 and he wants a girlfriend. Possibly. "
Emma opened her mouth but before she could say something in reply, her phone buzzed. She wrenched it out of her pocket and, with Kristen peering over her shoulder, read the text.
Hiiiiii. It's Harry here. It was nice seeing you at the cafe. Maybe we could do it again sometime? You could bring a friend if you wanted to. xx
Kristen exchanged a look with Emma. "He is looking for a parent figure. I was right!"
"Piss off, Kristen."
"You should meet up with him. If it doesn't work out you could always go to the National Enquirer and sell your story."
"True. And he's kinda cute. I like his eyes."
Kristen just arched one eyebrow.
Emma felt herself blushing, she could feel heat creeping up her neck. "Well, they are nice!" She rubbed the back of her neck, shrugging. "I'll go out with him as long as you come."
"He's gotta bring a friend too then. Preferably a fit one."
"I'll tell him that."
Kristen laughed as she walked back down the corridor to her room.
Emma curled up on the sofa and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ears. She did feel excited at the prospect of seeing Harry again, even if a big part of it was because he was a celebrity. She wondered whether she would get death threats - she did have a twitter, and the One Direction fans seemed crazy on there, harassing every girl one of the boys was within ten feet of.
I'm free anytime Friday - I'm going to bring my flatmate, Kristen. You should bring someone as well, so nobody's third-wheeling. We could meet in the same cafe because it's always quite empty. xx
Within a few more texts they had arranged to meet at 4:00 in the cafe. It seemed like a weird place to have a first date, but then again, did it really qualify as a date? Emma wasn't sure, though she couldn't help feel a bubble of apprehension in her stomach when she thought about it.
btw I'm really really sorry I didn't reply it wasn't that I was ignoring you it was that my computer wasn't letting me log on and I didn't know why and it's only just let me sorryyyy
Lilo is the strongest friendship and they could have such a potentially good relationship (I'm going to send a message to you about it now because I was just discussing it) Larry is not real, not in my opinion. Lilo > Larry by far in my opinion. I ship Elounor and Haroline (though I did find that Caroline was taking advantage of Harry a little)
