Take My Heart
Chapter One
Harry looked around and pulled his hood down further over his head, hoping he wouldn't be spotted. The streets were relatively empty, save for an elderly couple across the road, but he was always on the look out for the fans or for the paparazzi. One Direction were on a two year hiatus, which was a welcome break. The pressure had been building up recently, so much so that all their relationships had become so strained that they had to break them off. Harry knew that Louis, Liam and Zayn all were relieved they had the time to heal.
He tugged on the drawstrings of his hoodie and shuddered, the wind making him shiver. It was November, and a grey blanket covered the sky, thunder booming in the distance. The first drops of rain began to patter down and he ducked into a nearby cafe.
He scanned the cafe, checking the room for any potential One Direction fans. There was only the elderly couple he had seen before, a fifty-something year old woman on her laptop, a family with two toddlers and a girl who looked like she was in her early twenties.
She had light brown hair, pale skin, rosy cheeks and bright green eyes. She was sipping at some coffee, hunched over a newspaper. Some of her hair fell in front of her face and Harry felt a weird urge to tuck it back behind her ear.
"Can I help you, sir?" A waiter asked, a smirk curling at her lips as she looked between Harry and the attractive girl.
"Yes, yes, um, I'll have, some, uh, tea please." He glanced over at the counter. "And one of those chocolate chip biscuits please."
He paid for the biscuits and the tea and collected his biscuit before going to sit down at a table beside the girl. He took of his hoodie and began to eat his biscuit, but he couldn't concentrate - his eyes kept flicking to the girl, who had stopped reading the newspaper now.
She glanced up at him and he saw a flash of recognition flicker across her face, but she just raised her eyebrows and shrugged. He pursed his lips, a part of him disappointed that she didn't seem interested in him and part of him relieved.
Before he could say anything his tea arrived, and when he looked back up at her she was reading the newspaper again. He took two sips of his tea, grimacing at the temperature, and then craned his neck to try to see what she was reading. From what he could see it was a piece on the conflict in Syria, but he couldn't find out because a voice wrenched him from his thoughts.
"What are you looking at?" It was the girl.
"Um... uh.... your newspaper." He stuttered. As she began to look down, he quickly jumped in. "I'm Harry -"
"I knew that." She snapped, though Harry could see the faintest of smiles play across her lips.
"And whats your name?"
"Emma." She took a magazine and opened it, flicking through the pages.
Harry felt his shoulders slump forward. He tried not to look too despondent, but it obviously didn't work because he could see Emma glance up again and sigh.
"Harry." She said, her voice soft.
His head snapped up. "Yes?"
"I know you're like, famous, and all, and probably don't wanna give out your number to a random stranger, but, I could give you mine, and then if you decide you can trust me, you can text me."
A smile tugged at his lips. He wanted to say 'I trust you already', but that seemed too cheesy. "Sure, that sounds great."
She wrote her number down and handed it to Harry on a slip of creased paper. Her handwriting was bubbly and small. He folded the slip up and put it in his pocket. He took another bite of his biscuit while Emma stood up.
"See ya, Harry." She said, before walking out the shop.
Harry let out a breath he wasn't aware he had been holding and took another sip of his tea. He saw the magazine she had been reading lying open. It was turned to a page of Harry next to Ariana Grande. The caption read: 'Womaniser Styles Strikes Again'

Lilo is the strongest friendship and they could have such a potentially good relationship (I'm going to send a message to you about it now because I was just discussing it) Larry is not real, not in my opinion. Lilo > Larry by far in my opinion. I ship Elounor and Haroline (though I did find that Caroline was taking advantage of Harry a little)
