Mandolin Rain

Harry's POV

Things have been wonderful with Elliot. We haven't had to go anywhere all summer. People are starting to love us together again and I couldn't be happier. My mum is finally off my back about making things right with Elliot. I swear she was rooting for us before we even were an us.

“You ready?” I turn to see a smiling Elliot.

“Are you ready?” I tease her just to have her keep that smile.

“Duh. Don't I look ready?” She throws her arms out and spins around.

“You look beautiful.” I saunter over to her, her blonde hair half pinned up loosely curled, just the right around of make-up and a olive colored strapless dress. She's just glowing. I hug her carefully and kiss her cheeks making her blush.

“Get ready!” She pushes me away laughing. “We don't have that much time.”

“You sure we don't have time for anything special?” I wink at her.

“No time for that! I'll be waiting for you downstairs. Get dressed.” She turns on her heels and walks out carefully closing the door. I smile to myself and finish putting my suit on, rushing down the steps ready to show my gorgeous girlfriend off.

“I see you've taken off your shoes.” I come up behind Elliot and hug her.

“You know how I am with shoes. Especially high heals. They just don't like me.” She pouts.
“Your speech was really nice.” We sway to the music.

“Thank you, it would have been nice to sit with you though, eat dinner.”

“It's okay Harry. I'm a big girl, I can eat by myself.”

“I know, I just like to be by you.” I tell her as I spin her around so she's facing me.

“I can't believe they're married.” Her eyes wide.

“Me either, but we all knew this day would come.”

“Goodness, Perrie and Zayn are just so happy it makes me sick.” I laugh and we look at the newlyweds smiling at each other.

“You don't think we're that happy?” I ask.

“Oh I know we are, but they just look so perfect I want to puke.” She fakes a disgusted look and I don't hide my laughter.

“Come on, I have a surprise for you.” I take her hand and lead her away from the outdoor tent. Zayn wanted a small wedding, Perrie insisted on a big one, so they semi compromised, an outside wedding. I don't know how it was a compromise but they're happy so it worked.

I lead her back to our hotel room and rifle through my bag finding exactly what I'm looking for, hiding it behind my back and turning to see a waiting Elliot.

“So, I got you something. And I was going to wait to give it to you until tomorrow but I just can't. You flew all this way to see my parents so I thought we could see yours.” I get her attention immediately as I watch her eyes grow wide when I pull the tickets out from behind my back and she all but rips them out of my hands.

“You got us tickets to Thailand?” She's ecstatic.

“Actually tickets to Sydney. We're meeting your parents there and hanging out for a little while.”

“Oh my, Harry! I can't believe you did this!” She's practically in tears. Happy tears I can tell.

“I would do anything for you. I love you.”

“Tell me again.” She smiles and I shake my head.

“I love you Rainy.”

“Again.” This woman.

“I love you forever and ever and ever Rain Elliot Morgan.” I tell her confidently.

“And I love you Harry Edward Styles.”

Hope you all enjoyed this story as much as I enjoyed writing it. I'm sad it's over but I just hate stories that keep going with so much drama and nothing there, and I just couldn't think of anything else to add. I'll be posting a new story soon, check back here for the info! :)
