Unexpected Love Year One

Maggie's POV

I have learned a couple things since decorating The boys flat for the party one I should never go into contracting because I suck at it two before buying a wall size flag check to see if it has holes if not that means you are going to have to staple it to a wall.

"518...518 staples went into that flag" I yelled to Summer pointing at the flag now on the boys wall.

"Well the cake is in the oven" Summer said coming out of the kitchen "And for what it's worth that flag does look nice"

"Thank you" I replied

"All I have left to do is clean the kitchen and frost the cake"

"I just have to finish decorating because that flag took so long" I said annoyed

" Calm down it's a flag"

"Whatever hey help me move the couch against the wall so there is more of a dance floor". Summer walked over to me and we both pushed the couch against the wall when all of the sudden who let the dogs out blared out of my pocket.

"That's still your ringtone" Summer said

"It will forever be my ringtone" I replied reaching for my phone it was Haz.

"Hey babe" I answered "Yes Im fine and the place looks great, yeah we got everything, I know we only have two hours left don't worry, bye!"

"What he say" Summer asked from the kitchen

"Just that Niall's getting anxious"

" Oh I can't wait to see the look on his face"

"Yeah me either" I said I stapled the birthday boy banner across from the door and then started hanging streamers in random places in till I thought it looked nice. I then moved the table over and placed the table cloth on it and I placed the party hats on top of it.I also got a large bowl from the kitchen and filled it with the party poppers and shamrock necklaces. Finally I placed the gifts we had gotten him on the table and left space for the others. I stood in the middle of the room and admired my work.

"The kitchen's cle....Wow Maggie this place looks great" Summer said stepping out of the kitchen.

"Thank you"

"Only one problem"

"What?"

"The smell".

"Your right" I said inhaling " it smells like boy"

Summer walked back into the kitchen and came out with a candle and a lighter. She set it down and lit it.

"Nothing like the amazing scent of citrus explosion" she said

"We should get ready now"

"Yeah" she replied and we got our clothes and headed to the back to search for the bathrooms

"Beep Beep Beep........Beep Beep Beep"

"Is that the smoke alarm" I heard Summer yell. I followed the sound of her voice.

"Yeah I think so" I said upon finding her. We both stood there for a moment the we both faced eachother .

"The cake" we said in unison. We both darted towards the kitchen. I turned the smoke alarm off while Summer checked on the cake"

"Its fine" she said slightly confused

"Then what was burning....ohhhh" I said walking out of the kitchen and looking at the nearby wall. Summer's eyes followed min and she shrieked and ran to the wall and knocked the candle to floor breaking the glass on the outside. Summer must have set the candle to close to the streamers because the heat started melting them causing the smoke alarm to go off.

"Now was that really necessary" I said

"Sorry I panicked" she replied

"Obviously" I said. Summer started cleaning up the mess while I went into the kitchen to frost the cake and set the food out. Once Summer and I were both done it was 8:15 and guest were starting to arrive now all we need is the birthday boy!

Niall's POV
Today's my birthday and I haven't been able to talk to Summer once. Exactly after class was over Harry insisted we do a million and five things. I wasn't even allowed to call her. Harry is my best friend and I did have a nice time with him today but I just wanted to spend time with the girls too. By the time we got home it was 9:07.

"You tired mate" Harry asked upon parking the car

"No not really" I said getting out. We headed to the front door

"Why are the lights off" I said confused

"Maggie told me it saves energy" Harry said rather quickly "hey I can't find my key can you use yours"

"Sure" I turned the key and opened the door.

The lights suddenly flashed on "Happy Birthday Niall" I heard. I looked around the room a surprise party they had thrown me a surprise party. Immediately after that Summer ran over to me.

"Happy birthday baby" she said and gave me a big hug and kiss.

"Happy birthday Miles" Maggie said giving me a big hug as well.

"You called me Miles "

"You will get it later"

"Happy Birthday mate" Harry said coming up from behind

"I can't believe you guys threw me a surprise party" I said looking around the room. "Oh my flag"

"Yeah that was terrible to put up " Maggie started "But the look on your face made it all worth it"

"Come on let's dance" Summer said pulling me to the center of the room. The stereo
was blaring music and I said hi to my other friends and thanked them for coming.

"I love your shirt" I said to Summer while we were dancing

"I thought you might" she replied smirking

"Your never wearing that to Ireland"

"I won't"

We danced for awhile and then we all got hungry. They got my favorites from Nandos and we all ate and laughed then everyone insisted that we do cake a presents now. Maggie put the candles on the cake and Summer put a necklace over my head.

"Shamrocks ... seriously" I said looking at the necklace

" They were cute" Maggie said as she lit the candles. Everyone crowed around the guitar cake that looked delicious and sang Happy Birthday" then I blew out the candles.

"What cha wish for" Summer asked

"Nothing don't need anything" in replied simply. She gave me a peck on the cheek and Maggie handed me my first present. I opened the gift and it was a pair of high tops from Maggie I gave her another hug but this time it was not to Harry's liking and he pulled her away.

"You get jealous to easily" Maggie said to Harry as she stuck her tounge out.

I opened the rest of the gifts and thanked everyone. Then we all started dancing again when there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it" Maggie said pulling away from Harry on the dance floor. She opened the door and it was a police officer.

" I got a noise complaint from this address" he put simply

"I'm sorry officer will keep it down" Maggie replied

"Um here in England we are called bobbies" Maggie began laughing histerically

" Do you know what the penalty for disturbing the peace is?"

"No but you see its my friends 18th birthday"

"No excuses"

"Its not an excuse come on bobby what were you doing at 18" the police man thought abut it for a moment and let us off with a warning.

"You can talk your way out of anything can't you" I asked Maggie once she closed the door.

"Pretty much" she said "okay I think that's everyone's cue to go" Maggie said to to everybody else. Soon everyone left and it was just me Harry and the girls.

"Okay time to clean up" Harry announced as we all lied tired on the floor.

"You can't be serious" summer said

"And you better not be trying to rip that flag down" Maggie said getting off the floor and walking to Harry.

"Why not" he replied

"Because I worked very hard to put it up there"

"Fine just for you I won't take the flag down" he said wrapping his arms around her waist.

"I would appreciate if you two didn't make out in front of my flag thanks" I said. They both laughed an moved away from the flag.

"We should be heading home we have work tomorrow" Summer said

"I'll drive you" Harry said. We all said our goodbyes.

Before they left Summer pulled me aside. "Did you really have a nice Birthday" she said

"It was the best party ever" I said honestly and gave her a kiss goodnight.

Here's part two to Niall birthday chapter. Is any one else having a small panic attack because he is actually turning 21 soon!!!!!!!!! They grow up so fast *over dramatic teardrop*.
