Page’s POV

I let out a deep breath and tilted my head back to feel the sun on my face.

Trying desperately to calm my nerves down as I leaned back against the outside of the tall building and running a hand through my straightened hair.

Today was quickly becoming nerve racking and exhausting.

Harry had personally asked me to be at his next strategy meeting with his lawyer but I didn't know how intense it was going to get in there.

With all the talk about finding small evidence and piling it together, I was becoming more and more worried by the minute and needed a moment to myself out here.

I don’t get why everyone is so stressed out if Harry’s innocent.

Shouldn't it be easy to find evidence?

Maybe I shouldn't take advice from television crime shows, if it was really like they made it out to be then we would have found the clues and evidence and the real criminal in the space of an hour.

Those shows can be so unrealistic.

Finally, I decided it was time to go back inside and let out a tired sigh before walking back up to the stairs and into the meeting room.

“We have a warrant for a total of seven stores that have security cameras which would have caught the car you were in, driving past on the night of the crime.” Harry’s lawyer explained to him as I walked in and I couldn't help the small amount of hope that had sparked in me from hearing her words.

I quietly sat down next to Harry and he instantly wrapped his arm round my waist and pulled me closer to him.

“If they can prove in the tapes that it’s not me driving then that’s something, right?” He asked sounding just as hopeful as I was feeling.

“It’s most definitely something and we also just received a warrant for the car which is still with the forensic team, we’re going to get them to do finger print analysis on the steering wheel. If we can prove your finger prints aren't on there then it shows the judge you weren't the one driving.”

Harry and I both sighed at the same time before he squeezed me closer to him and kissed my cheek softly.

“Don’t worry baby, we will be out of this mess soon.”

Our lawyer cleared her throat before I had a chance to reply to Harry and we both looked over at her.

“If you don’t me asking, where’s your son at the moment?”

I gulped as I looked over at Harry.

I hadn't told him that Tyler was with Niall and the other boys at this very moment and I'm not too sure if he would be happy about it since management has forced the others into staying away from Harry until the case is finished. Harry was quite upset that they actually listened and stayed away so maybe letting them watch Tyler wasn't the best move.

“Uh he’s with family right now.” I mumbled and they both nodded.

It grew slightly awkward so I decided on changing the subject back to something more case related.

“Is there any chance of catching the girl that was in the car?”

“The security footage will help with that too. Your fiancé here hasn't got the best memory of her but were hoping that facial recognition will determine more for us.”

I nodded and listened as she explained the final order of the court case next week and what I needed to bring Harry to wear and stuff like that.

My nerves had finally died down and the knowledge of knowing we have the best people working on setting Harry free is very comforting.

I just hope whoever did this to my family pays for what they’ve done.
