Chapter 86
Harry’s POV
“Guilty!”
My head dropped, and I closed my eyes. I had lost the case.
“Your honor, my client—” My lawyer, Claire Bennett started.
The judge shook his head, silencing her. “I don’t care who your client is, Ms. Bennett. There is no evidence to prove that your client didn’t commit the crime, and until there is, I want him behind bars.”
The security guard came up from behind me to cuff my hands together. I looked up at Claire. “Please. I need to see my wife and son.”
She nodded. “I’ll do everything I can.”
“Thank you.”
They walked me out of the room and I kept my head down, not wanting to meet the disappointed eyes of one of my bandmates or worse, Management.
Page’s POV (Present Day)
I’ve been up all night crying my eyes out. This is not how I wanted to bring up my first child. I love Harry to death and there’s nothing in this world that could change that but It’s just I’ve been thinking a lot lately, and with Harry spending the next six months in jail, maybe this isn’t the best way to bring up Tyler.
The wedding is being postponed for the second time now. Maybe that’s a sign that we aren’t ready? I don’t know.
But what I do know, is that I want the best for Tyler and I don’t think that were going to find what’s best for him here, with Harry.
Cindy offered to take Tyler and me in until I can find a place of my own. I still haven’t told Harry yet, but I’m on my way to see him right now.
I let out a sigh of relief when he steps into view in an orange jumpsuit with his hands handcuffed behind him.
“Harry!” I breathe out as I embrace him.
Not many seconds later, our lips meet.
“I’m sorry this happened baby.” He mumbled, resting his head on my shoulder. “How’s Tyler?”
“He’s with Cindy.” I told him. “I-I think we’re going to move in with her for a while…”
“Page, you don’t have too. I can have one of the lads move in with you if you’d like, just please don’t give up on me.”
“Harry. You’re in jail!”
“I know, but I’m innocent, please don’t give up on me, Page. Claire’s working with me and we’ve come up with a solution. I should be out in a week or two.”
Tears burned my eyes as I looked up at him. “Promise?”
“I promise baby.”
Taylor Swift’s POV
“What you did to Harry was horrible Taylor! He’s in fucking jail! He has a family!” Selena yelled, showing me the magazines.
Great, now my friends are turning against me.
“I didn’t know that he would actually end up in jail…” I mumbled.
I actually do feel bad.
“You did this because you were fucking jealous!! He has a kid now!! He will never love you, Taylor!! Do me a favor and grow the hell up!!”
She got up and stormed out of the house.
