Page’s POV

“Please don’t go.” I pleaded with Harry as I tried to choke down my sobs.

I wasn't ready for him to leave even if I had my mother here with me, it was just too soon.

“Page, baby you know I have too.” He gently wiped the tears from my cheeks before pulling me into his chest.

It’s only a matter of time before I break without him.

Planning a wedding.

Looking out for Tyler every single minute.

Trying to get fit again so I can return to modelling.

It was just so much.

“B-but Tyler is only two weeks old and he’s your son! You can’t leave us.”

He sighed dramatically and ran his fingers through my hair as an attempt to calm me down.

“I know he’s only two weeks old Page but he was premature, if he was born on his actual due date then the tour would have been over.”

I sniffled and looked down at the ground in shame.

It’s my fault Tyler was so premature.

If I had have taken better care of my body or had the slightest bit more body fat then maybe he would have had a better chance at surviving in there until he was meant to be born.

If I had looked after myself better then he wouldn't have so many complications with his organs or all the other things we have to be careful about.

“Management is being cruel and inconsiderate of Tyler basically because we didn’t tell them that we were pregnant. But it’s only for a few weeks and then I will be on the first flight home. I promise.”

He held my tears stain cheeks between his hands as he reassured me with his words and I felt a small, very small weight being lifted knowing that he wouldn't be gone for too long.

“Okay.” I whispered to him and he gave me a half-hearted smile.

“Now where’s my little boy?”

Just as the words left his mouth, my mother came around the corner carrying a now fully awake Tyler in her arms.

“Someone wanted to say goodbye to Daddy.” My mom smiled and very carefully placed Tyler in Harry’s arms.

Harry’s eyes brightened even more as he stared down at his son, my hearted melted as I watched him lean down and place a kiss on his forehead before fixing his small head of curls so they looked just like his daddy’s.

“Be a good boy for mummy okay? And make sure you take good care of her for me.” He beamed down at Ty as he talked and I let out a small laugh.

A few moments past before he reluctantly handed me Tyler and grabbed his keys from next to the door.

His eyes stayed trained on the small person in my arms for a while before back up to me.

“We make some bloody adorable children.”

I uttered out another laugh as I tried not to cry again.

“Yeah we do.”

He carefully pulled me closer and placed another kiss on Tyler’s forehead before doing the same to me.

“I love you both tremendously.” He mumbled and slowly walked to his car.

I let out a shaky breath before shutting the door and walking into the lounge.

My mother soon joined Tyler and I as we sat there and listened to Harry’s car drive off until I could no longer hear the engine.

“What are you going to do now?” Mom asked sadly.

“I should feed the baby.” I stated as I picked him up from next to me on the couch where I had placed him.

“Page sweetheart you need to remember he’s premature. His body can’t handle as much milk as a normal baby.”

I sighed and let out a small gasp when Tyler choked on his own breath.

One of his ‘complications’ he has is asthma meaning that every now and then he would scare the leaving shit out of me by making me think that he had stopped breathing just to splutter out a breath a few seconds later.

“You’re right.” I grumbled and handed him to my mother for a minute so I could make a cup of tea.

My mother knew what she was doing with babies, unlike me.

I didn't want to admit it but I just felt like I was getting worse and worse at being a parent.

I'm glad to have my mother here with me while Harry’s away, But I just wish Harry wasn't gone even if it was only for two weeks.

Let’s pray I can stay sane without him.

Sorry it's a bit of a boring chapter but I had to type it fast as my internet is blacking out every couple of hours since there's huge black outs all over NZ... Not so much fun.
