Page’s POV

F L A S H B A C K

“You see, Mr. and Mrs. Styles, you are very lucky. But there is no guarantee that you won’t have any complications in the future.”

“What do you mean ‘complications’?” Harry asked.

“Because of your son’s prematurity, he may have a hard time when he’s older,” The doctor answered.

Harry’s grip on my hand tightened and I closed my eyes, exhaling deeply. “Okay, thank you.”

“You’re welcome. Have a good evening.”

I sighed and looked down at Tyler who was asleep in my arms. I couldn’t seem to keep my eyes off of him. He had Harry’s curls and dimples with my blue eyes.

“We have a lot to talk about.” Harry stated. “How do you want to do this?”

“I don’t know Harry!” I snapped, “I’m too exhausted to think right now! I was up all night with the baby! We’ve only had him for a week and I’m already a terrible mother.”

“You’re not a terrible mother, Page.”

“Bullshit!” I yelled.

Harry took Tyler from my arms and set him in his crib before returning to his spot next to me on the bed. He wrapped his arms around me and held me as I cried into his chest. “I’m a terrible mother,” I spoke between sobs, “I can barely change a diaper properly!”

“Page baby, this is a new experience for the both of us. We can take one of those parenting classes if you want. How does that sound?”

I half-smiled at his attempt to make me feel better and wiped at my eyes, “Okay.”

“Your mom offered to stay here with you and the baby while I finish off the tour. The boy’s had to leave without me so I’ll have to meet them there.”

“We can’t come with you?” I whispered. He shook his head. “Management won’t allow it. Apparently, you would be too much of a distraction and I need to focus on the tour and the fans.”

“How is everyone reacting to the baby?” I questioned.

“Everyone knows, that’s for sure,” He laughed, “News travels fast.”

“What’s the headlines this time?” I snorted, “‘Harry Styles and Page Philips give birth to baby boy!’” He laughed again, “Something like that.”

He pulled me under the covers with him and I melted in his arms. “Remember when we first cuddled?” I whispered.

“Remember when we first had sex?” Harry whispered back and I laughed silently and smacked his arm.

“I’m glad we still get to have moments like these… we’ve both been so busy lately, with planning the wedding and Tyler and you recording the next album.”

“I know, I’ve missed you baby,” He kissed my eyelids and I smiled. “I’ve missed you too Harry,” I said.

“Good-night baby.”
