PAGE’S POV

I feel caged in, like there’s no way out.

Sure, I’m happy here with Harry, he’s amazing and everything but I carry a lot more baggage then I let on.

And keeping this all from him is much harder than I ever imagined it would be.

I’ve been avoiding Harry lately, afraid that if I get too attached that I will eventually spill the truth.

I was sulking around my flat when I heard a knock on the door.

Ugh.

I groaned inwardly.

“Coming!” I called.

I slipped on my bunny slippers and robe before making my way to the door.

I opened it, revealing my curly haired boyfriend.

He looked beautiful as usual, with his tight skinny jeans and flannel shirt.

“Harry?” My face flushed as I suddenly became aware of my unpleasant appearance. “What are you doing here?”

He ducked his head, staring at me with his mesmerizing green eyes.

“My girlfriend has been avoiding me so I came to come see why.” He said simply, tucking his hands in his jean pockets.

“I have not been ignoring you.” I crossed my arms, trying to act tough but failed.

“Oh, really?” He chuckled and I nodded.

My breath hitched in my throat as he stepped closer to me, leaning down so that our bodies are only inches apart.

“Tell me why you’ve been ignoring me, Page.” He whispered in my ear, his warm breath tickling my neck.

“It’s a long story.” I sighed, raking a hand through my blonde hair.

“I’ve got time . . .”
