I decided to go the long way to class today. The short way past the library, you would understand why I wouldn't like to go.

"Ashton! Ashton!" I hear my name as I walk. Oh, please don't be Jenna. I stop in my tracks and turn around. And, of course, it was Jenna. "Ashton, wait!" Oh, come on! I begin to jog without even noticing. But she was faster.

Her hand gripped my arm and she started dragging me back. Even Jenna's stronger than me.

"Ashton, wait," She repeated, softer this time. "It's okay." Then, we're hugging. I slightly push her away.

"No, no, it's not." I say.

"Yes, it is!"

"No! It's not! You.. you.."

"Well, then, do you ever think about how I felt when I woke up and you weren't there?" She snaps. "Huh? Well, it hurts, you know, it hurts."

"But, you're the amazing you.. and... and... I'm, me."

"What's wrong with being you?"

"Because I'm a loser, okay? I only left because I wanted to save you the embarrassment," We were yelling now. "I know that you only slept with me because you were drunk, no possible way that you would've actually wanted me!"

"Well, newsflash, Ashton, I DO WANT YOU." There was a crowd around us now. "I love you, okay? I. Love. You."

"Kiss me." I say out of blue. I don't know why, but I did.

"What?"

"Kiss me. To prove it."

She hesitates. I knew it.

"Fine." Jenna said, surprising me. She hits the books out of my hand and jumps onto me, legs wrapped and everything. "Fun Fact: I'm not drunk right now." Then she presses her lips on mine. The crowd ooh's. Yeah, sure we made out, but what was important was that she really did like me.
