Being Carter Hood (5SOS)

~ Calum's P.O.V ~

"Are you crazy? Without a doubt, we are canceling tonights concert." Luke furrows his eyebrows at me, baffled as I try to protest.
"We c-can't let the fans down." I whimper softly through sniffles. Finally I was able to stop crying an hour ago. Luke sighs from the lounge door frame and makes his way towards the couch where I'm sitting.
"Calum, your mom just past away. They will understand." He says sympathetically as he wraps his arm around my shoulders. "What am I going to do.." My voice croaked as I felt the wave of tears come back but I quickly pushed them away. "Just take it one day at a time. Let everything settle first." Luke tells me and hugs my slightly shaking body. He's right. I dont think I've come to even except the news. It seems so surreal. A dream I wished this was.

The sound of boots grew closer as Michael entered the room. "I laid with her till she stopped crying, she's asleep now." He nods at me with a sad smile. "Thank you, Michael. She needs us as much as possible right now." I mumble and stand up. "Guys.." We all look to the door once again as Ashton enters a bit urgently saying this before he shuts the door behind him. I look at him confused. "Dont worry, Stella is keeping an eye on her." He assures me and i nod.
"I think we should talk about this." Ashton says and glances towards Luke. "Ashton, give him a couple days." Luke mumbles angrily at him. "No. No. Its fine. What?" I tell Ashton. He takes a deep breath. "Maybe we should.. Cancel the tour." Ashton finally says, but with caution. I instantly shake my head. "No way."
"Yeah, maybe we should." Michael hesitantly agrees while Luke gives me a weak gesture that he agrees too.

I quickly feel fustrated and overwhelmed, making my fingers grip my short dark curls. The wave of sudden tears returns a this time i just let them fall. "No we can't! It took us so long to get our own headline tour. We are not stopping it. I agreed to cancel tonights, but not the rest!... My mom would want us to finish it." I yell, yet cry the last couple words as saying it hits my heart harshly. My knees feel week and I begin to fall but land in their arms as they all make an effort to comfort me. "Whatever you want." They all say to me with a look as if they are torn apart inside just looking at me like this. If i was seeing one of them going through this, i would feel the same.

I've decided I actually like this chapter how it is,because it gives you a small glimpse on how Calum is feeling so I won't be adding to this chapter. :)
