Being Carter Hood (5SOS)

"Oh my god! Did you see that!? Taylor Swift totally smiled at me!" Stella gleams to me as we all are walking to find our seats. I let out a giggle. "She totally did." She lets out a squeal when I say this and I wink to her. My face may seem calm about all these famous people surrounding me, but really I'm fangirling majorly in my mind!

"Our seats are over there." My brother points to the area across the huge room. I look up at the gigantic lit up stage that has crew people frantically running across it, as we walk. "Oh look were sitting next to One Direction." Ashton grins at the five seats with each of their names on one next to ours. We all look to Stella as she gasps loudly. My eyes widen and I don't think I can't control my nerves and excited to meet them. "Oh my god!" This time I'm the one who squeals and jumps a little from excitement, making everyone laugh. "They are great guys." Serena says to me with a smile. I smile back. So far the plan has been okay, I mean the paparazzi took bunches of pictures and shouted things like 'What happened to Carter and Luke!?', 'Whos the new chick!?'. I'm expecting it to be all over magazines tomorrow, with my face no wear in the picture.

"Lets take our seats, it'll be starting soon." Michael says and he takes a seat in one of the seven seats reserved for five seconds of summer. He chose the the seat on the far left. Trying to avoid him I took the seat all the way to the right that is placed next to one of One Directions, then just as I perked up when Luke was going to sit next to me Serena spoke up. "Do you think that's a good idea?" She asks concerned. He looks to me with a sad smile, and I return it as he sits a seat away from me. Leaving Serena to sit between us. Next to Luke was Calum, Stella, Ashton, then of course Michael.
"So who's performing first?" I ask curiously. "The opening act is Arianna Grande, Nicki Minaj, and Jessie J." Serena says from next to me. "Oh nice." I say pleased.

"Ten Minutes till were live!" Some says into a microphone. Just as I was looking around to see who said that I haven't realized the new presence to my left. The presence taps my shoulder making me quickly jump, being startled. "Shit." I curse under my breath while holding my hand to my heart. My body turns and my eyes looks only to leave me embarrassed and frazzled. He begins to laugh. I noticed he's the only one out of the band standing here. "I'm sorry, Love I didn't mean to scare you." He says with a husky voice. I snap myself out of it. Just be normal I tell myself. I opened my mouth to say something when Calum and the others cut me off. "Zayn!" They grin excitedly and each of them give him a bro hug. "Hey mates." Zayn smiles before shaking Stella, Serena's, and my hand in a polite way as the others introduced us. The way Stella was acting I could she was trying so hard to keep it together, I definitely found that humorous. Zayn noticed everyones confused faces as to why he was the only one. "Oh the other lads are in the toilets." He says and we all nod well I didn't. I'm a bit frozen at the moment. Zayn glances down at me before taking the seat right next to mine. "How are you?" He smiles to me. "Fine. Thanks." I grin and look forward to the stage. Okay I did come out kind of cold, but I don't know how to act when I'm nervous. "Is it because I scared you." He says smugly and crosses his arms. I let out a chuckle and lean back in my seat. "No honestly, I'm just a bit tired." I half lie. "Don't worry, I know." He winks then turns just as the rest of One Direction come to take their seats.
After we all did the hello thing and shook hands the person on the microphone began to count down. The crowed near the stage erupted with scream as Arianna came into view and began to sang beautifully. A great way to start off the awards.

Half way through the show and the band won one award for song of the summer. The people who preformed so far were great. "Please welcome artist to watch nominee, my friend Sam Smith!" Kim Kardashian said into the microphone. I sway as he began to sang a great song that I'm loving right now. Out of the corner of my eyes I see Serena pulls Luke's hand onto her lap as they lean into eachother. I stare blankly at their intertwined fingers, they sure do put on a good show for incase if the camera goes to them.. I feel eyes on me and I look to Michael who has already staring back. Quickly, my head snaps back to the stage and my body stiffens. "Are you okay?" Zayn whispers to me and I nod. "Your a terrible liar." He smiles sadly and I nod my head. "Is this, because of the rumor of you and Luke?" Zayn mumbles. Ugh of course he knows. Everyone does! "I'm fine." I force myself to smile. He looks at me unsure, but I just keep smiling and telling myself.
"You can trust me." Zayn looks to me with a look I know is genuine, but I can't tell him, because when I say it. Its real.

"Really. I'm fine."
