Elena's POV: We arrived at Anne's beautiful home here in London and I was beyond nervous and excited. "Don't worry, she'll be overjoyed you're here," Harry whispered in my ear bringing back memories of the first time I came. I smiled and nodded my head as the door opened. There she was, Anne. Her eyes widened and her smile grew huge when she saw us. "ELENA!" she yelled pulling me into a tight hug. "Hey Anne!" I said laughing. "Oh my goodness I can't believe you're here! It's been so long! How have you been honey? We've all missed you dearly." "Oh I've missed you two mum," said Harry butting in as I laughed. "Oh baby you know I missed my boo too but I haven't seen her in years!" she said hugging me again. "Haha alright can we head inside now?" "Yes of course come on in!" Her house looked exactly the same as the last time I visited. Maybe only a few curtains and furniture has changed but its still all the same. We walked into the back yard and sat down at a beautiful crested table. "Let me go grab some drinks. Elena dear are you thirsty?" "Ummm--." "We actually just had some Starbucks before we came mum." "Oh well then let me just grab a quick snack for you two." "Still baking those goodies Anne?" "You know it baby girl!" she said walking back inside as I laughed. "Still the same old Anne." "Yeah she's great." "I'm glad you came." "Me too," I said smiling. My phone started ringing and I answered it. "Hello?" "Hey babe, what are you up to?" "Oh hey, I'm with Harry." "Harry Styles? Oops I forgot to tell him.. "Umm yeah we just came to visit his mom for a bit cause I haven't seen her in years." "Oh alright well let me know when you're done so we can do something." Should I tell him I'm spending the weekend with him and his mom? I don't know how he would react. " I'll let you know if I'm not busy." "I thought you guys were on vacation?" Ugh I'm so stupid. "Oh yeah, but I have other business I have to take care of like with the auditions for the vampire diaries cast and all." "Oh alright well let me know if you're not busy and we'll hangout." "Will do." "Love you." "Talk to you later, bye." I feel bad for not saying it back but it's all just to soon I don't even think I feel the same way. "Who was that?" asked Harry. "Huh?-- Oh that was just Jack." "Oh... How was your date last night?" "It was great, we had dinner on a boat and went for a ride on it afterwards." His head was looking down as he played with his fingertips. "That's lovely." "Yeah, it was." I should probably let him know we're together now but just as I was about is speak he immediately changed the subject finally lifting his head up. "Heard anything from the producers yet?" He was referring to the vampire diaries. "No but they did say they'll let us know by the end of the week who got the roles." "So you're really going to leave if you get the role?" "Yeah I have to they want to start filming right away in Georgia." "Ugh I hope you don't get the role." "Hey!" "Who's going to be our hair and makeup artist now?" "I've already talked to Melissa about this. Lou will be coming back with Lux and taking my job for me, well if i do get the role. Don't worry you guys will still look pretty." He laughed and said, "Still, I'm going to miss you. And the boys of course will. The bus won't be the same without Els!" "I'll miss you guys too, but it won't be goodbye forever. Plus you only have 3 months left of tours. I think you'll make it." "Hopefully." Anne then came back out with her special cookies. "I hope you like them, they have a new recipe in them." "Anne come on you always make amazing cookies," I said grabbing one with Harry. "Mmmm now this is perfection. So good! What did you put in them?" She smirked at me and said, "Im not--." "-- telling I know I know." "Mum has never told anyone her secret. Not even me! And I'm her favorite!" "Favorite child? Yeah right," said a familiar voice. As I looked behind Anne I saw Gemma walking towards us. "Elena?!" I got up and brought Gemma into a hug. "It's so good to see you!" said Gemma. "It's great to see you too." "Not to sound rude but what are you doing here?!" "I came with Harry just to visit for the weekend." "Awe you guys are back together! Finally! I knew you guys were meant to be you're the only girl Harry has ever talked about or brought over to the family." Really? I'm the only one? This caused a smile on my face for some reason but Harry and I immediately looked at each other and Harry's face turned red as he scratched the back of his neck. "We're not together Gemma," he said. "Just good friends," I let her know. "Oh I'm sorry." "It's okay, come sit." "Oh I'd love to but I have to get going, Josh is going to be here any second now." "Who's Josh?" said Harry. "He is none of your concern," she shot at him with a smirk. "Mum Im spending the night at Sarah's after our date is that fine?" "Date?!" said Harry causing me to chuckle a bit. "Yes dear that's fine have fun." "Thanks mum, ill see you tomorrow." "Alright honey goodbye." "Goodbye. Bye Harry, Bye Elena!" "Bye Gems!" I said as she left. "Mum who's Josh and where does he live?!" I laughed and Anne said, "Oh honey calm down they've known each other for years." "Wait-- don't tell me its Josh Camel?" "And what if it is?" "No way! Josh? Who knew he had it in him." I then lightly punched Harry and Anne laughed. "Oww." "Don't be mean maybe he really likes her?" "Give him a chance hun, he's really sweet." "Alright alright." "Good! Now I should probably get going." "What? Where? We just got here." "I know Harry but Melony just called in sick today at the bakery and I don't have anyone else to take her shift." Then an idea suddenly popped in my head. "We can cover her shift for you Anne." "Oh no dear that would be rude." "No it's really wouldn't be a problem. Harry and I use to work there all the time so I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have a problem." I looked over at Harry and he was smiling at me. "Yeah mum, we'll take care of everything for you. Just rest before you head to your shift at work." "Well alright I trust you two not to burn the cookies and muffins." "Oh I promise," Harry said stating the word "I" clearly. "Oh and what are you trying to say exactly?" "Oh nothing, you know you're just not the best baker in town." "Oh really? And who is?" "You know handsome tall fella starts with Harold ends with Styles." "Oh honey please, we all know I'm the true master in town." "You got that right Anne!" "Okay okay not going to argue with the boss!" "That's right! Now you two head down to the shop now. Her shift ends at 6 so you can come back then." I looked at my phone and it was already 1:45. "Only five hours of work? No problem," said Harry. "We'll see you later mum." "Alright sweetie goodbye, goodbye Elena ill see you later and don't you two do anything sneaky in the shop!" "Like what?" I said laughing. "Mhmm remember that last time I caught you two in the back sucking each others faces off and--." "OKAY!! Let's get going Elena!" Harry said literally dragging me out the door. ----- "Thank you ma'am." "No thank you darling." "Have a nice day." "You too!" After the woman had left I looked at the clock and it was already 5:12. "Nobody really comes after 5," said Harry standing by the side of me. I nod and walk over to the sink to wash my hands. "And how are the muffins coming along Mr. Master of Baking?" "Better than you would have." "Hey!" I then grabbed a little towel next to the sink and threw it at him as he laughed. I walked into the register and opened it up to count the money we had made. "And that is $137 we made." "In under 5 hours I'd say that's pretty good." "People just love us." "Agreed." The bell for the oven then rung and I walked to the back of the kitchen with Harry to help him with the muffins. "Careful, it's hot." "Don't worry I got it." I set it on top of the counter and tested to see if they were ready. "Looks good." "Duh, I made them." "Ha ha very funny. Come on let's set them in the front so Anne doesn't have to do it." We neatly placed the muffins in a basket and placed them on a table in the front of the store. "All done." "Everything looks great, we should probably just clean up a bit before we head out." "Okay." I walked to the back kitchen and grabbed a towel and a windex and started cleaning the counters. All of a sudden music started playing all throughout the store. "Elvis?" I looked over to Harry who was already dancing to Hound dog and couldn't stop laughing. He then gestured me to come dance with him and I nodded no but he didn't take it and grabbed my hand and dragged me to dance with him. I eventually gave in and started dancing to the Elvis classics. We went crazy and got lost in the dances. Harry grabbed a large broom and danced as he swept the floors and i continued to clean the counters as i danced myself. The song eventually changed to we come together by Grease and when the chorus came on Harry and I didn't stop for nothing as we kept spinning around and swaying our hips. He then came from behind and wrapped his arms around me lifting me in the air as I laughed. Once he set me down I looked into his eyes as he looked into mine and everything just seemed silent. Just me and him. "Hmm excuse me?" We looked over to an old couple in front of the register. "Oh I'm so sorry umm ill be right with you." Harry let me go and turned off the music as I walked to the register and him to the back. "Ok 2 muffins, a bagel and a coffee, your total is $6.49." The lady gave me the money and as I handed her change back she said, "You two are adorable together, ill tell you something. Love like that only comes around once in a lifetime." "Love like that?" "True love." She smiled at me and walked away but before her husband left he said, "I'd listen to her if I were you." "How so?" "You know a young beautiful lady told me the same exact thing 37 years ago to this day." "And what happened?" "I married her." I smiled and kindly said, "Happy Anniversary." "Thank you." "Oh Benjamin!" the lady called out. "Ooo better go wouldn't wana keep my sunshine waiting." I smiled and said, "Have a nice day you two." "Thanks, you too!" As he left I couldn't help but think about what he said. True love? If it was real we would have still been together. Wait no. I can't think of us anymore, I'm with Jack now he's a nice guy. I have to stop thinking about Harry. Before anything else came up my phone vibrated and I received a text from Jack. Jack: Hey babe, still busy?" Me: Yeah I think I'm going to be busy all week. Sorry. :( Jack: aww. :( Well no worries I understand. Maybe we can Skype later before you head to bed? Me: Yeah that sounds good. (: Jack: Okay well I'll let you go now. I have to edit a video out. Me: I'll be sure to look it up when it's done. (: Jack: Good cause you'll love it! Goodbye love. Me: Bye Jack Yup still not use to him calling me love but I wonder what the videos about? Harry then came out from the kitchen and he kept smiling for some reason. "What?" "Oh nothing, let's get going yeah?" "Okay." ----- I could tell that Elena was nervous when we were caught dancing in front of the old couple. When I went to the back kitchen as Elena met them at the register and since a window between the register and the kitchen was open I over heard there conversation. "You two are adorable together, ill tell you something. Love like that only comes around once in a lifetime." "Love like that?" "True love." I couldn't help but smile when she had said that and then I heard the lady husband talking. "I'd listen to her if I were you." "How so?" "You know a young beautiful lady told me the same exact thing 37 years ago to this day." "And what happened?" "I married her." Wow. "Happy Anniversary." "Thank you." Elena was always so warm hearted. Ill tell you something that definitely made my whole weekend. True love? I agree completely. I took off my apron and washed my hands before heading out of the kitchen still with the smile on my face. "What?" she said. "Oh nothing, let's get going yeah?" "Okay." ----- We arrived back to my mums house and I noticed that her car wasn't in the driveway. "That's weird." "What?" "Her cars not here." We walked inside and I called out, "Mum? Mummmm were homeeee." No answer. "Maybe she left somewhere?" said Elena. When we walked in the dining table we see good already cooked, lasagna I believe with some sweet cookies to the side and lemonade. On top of the food was a note neatly folded and I opened it up and read it. Harry, Left to my shift at the bakery, won't be home for a while. Don't wait up for me. Made some dinner for you and Elena,l you two need some alone time together. (; Love you Hun! See you soon. x That woman. Well at least I get to spend some time with Elena. "Where'd she go?" "To the Bakery, she won't be home for a while." "Aww." "At least she didn't leave us to start." Elena laughed and she looked so adorable. "True." "Let's dig in." ----- After we had eaten Elena and I watched a couple movies on Netflix and she ended up falling asleep. Elena's phone was vibrating on the coffee table next to us and I notice she had a miss call and 2 text messages. I was curious when the phone read that it was from Jack so I opened it hoping she wouldn't wake. Jack: Im guessing you don't want to Skype? And i opened the other one as well. Jack: Well goodnight Elena. x To be honest I didn't really think much of the text. I know they have gone in a date before and all but I'm pretty sure Elena and Jack are just friends. After I set her phone down I look down at the beautiful girl laying on my lap and smile as I stroked her hair. Not to long after I then fell asleep knowing that this weekend was going to be a good one.
