Harry's POV: Taylor decided to come and visit for a while in London so we can both receive more publicity. She arrived this morning and I picked her up from the airport. "Hey," I said. "Hi, thanks for picking me up." "No problem." We stood silent for the rest of the drive until I said, "You hungry?" "Mm kind of," she said. "Let's get something to eat. Do you like sea food?" "Eww no that's so gross. I feel like vomiting just being around it. Like poor fishes you know?" "Ok well what do you feel like eating then?" " Is there any famous places around here? You know where people go to alot so we can get noticed, just the two of us?" "Well there's a fancy restaurant El Mezios down the street but I'm not sure if that'a a good id--." "It's perfect, let's go!" I sighed, "Alright." I grabbed my phone and made reservations to clear up the restaurant so it can just be the two of us. We drove down to the restaurant and as we were walking in I noticed a guy arguing with the manager in the front desk. "No sir, I made these reservations last night how can you tell me there's no room? There's nobody here! This is absurd!" I walked up to the desk and the manager greeted me. "Oh hello Mr. Styles." "Hello, is everything ok?" "Oh yes he was just leaving." "We're not leaving." said the guy. "We're?" I asked. "Me and my date, she's in the bathroom." "Oh." I didn't want to be rude and ruin his date so I looked at the manager and said, "Hey it's alright just let him and his date in and just them ok." "Are you sure Mr. Styles because I could get them to leave?" "No it's fine, let them. We can all just sit together and have our meals how does that sound?" I turned to the guy. He let out a sigh and said, "Thanks man." The manager then said, "Very well, I shall set the table for four." I nodded and turned to introduce myself, "Im Harry and this is Taylor." "From One Direction and the beautiful Swift, I know. A pleasure to meet you two, I'm Jack." I stopped and said, "Jack?" "Yeah J-A-C-K.. JACK." Taylor giggled as he spelled out his name and I said, "Oh yeah sorry your name just sounds very familiar." "Well there are millions of others with my name so I don't blame you." I laughed at his joke, he was funny and as the manager came back I asked him, "So where's this bird of yours?" He looked around and then pointed behind me. "Oh there's she is." When I tuned around I saw a familiar brunette walking out of the restroom looking down through her bag. "Hey Jack, I think i forgot my pho--." She stopped walking and stood silent when she lifted her head up and saw me. "Elena?" "Harry?" She crunched her eyebrows in confusion and slowly walked towards us. "What are you doing here?" But she figured it out when she then saw Taylor standing beside me. "Oh umm well Harry this is Jack, Jack this is Harry." "Yes I know," I said. She looked confused once again and said, "Did I miss something?" "Mr. Styles your table for four is ready," said the manager. "Four?" "Yeah love Harry helped us get a table. So we'll be sitting with them," Jack said smiling. "Oh really.." Elena's POV: I was surprised when I saw Harry but even more when Jack had told me he had offered to sit us all together. "Oh really.." I said. Jack nodded and I turned to Harry who smiled lightly at me. "Well lets eat then," I said. It wasn't as awkward as I would have pictured it to be but I could sense Harry was a bit uncomfortable while we were eating because he kept asking random questions. "Mm this Steak is so good, what did you order Elena?" said Jack. "Well the last time I came here was with Louis a while back so I pretty much ordered the same thing which is the pasta." "Louis? He's in the band as well right?" asked Jack. "Yeah, he's the funny one." "I thought I was the funny one?" said Harry. I looked over at Harry and smiled. "Your more of the party animal," and we both laughed remembering the night we slept together when I went clubbing with them. "He sure is," said Taylor out of nowhere. I looked at her and smiled and looked back down at my food. "Oh Jack I forgot to tell you that I'm actually guna go on tour with the boys in a couple days." "Really? That's exciting," he said. "Being stuck with 5 boys or months... I'm not sure about that." Harry then kicked my leg lightly underneath the table. "Kidding!" I said. "We'll you better not forget about me love." "Of course I won't, you can come visit me sometimes if you want." "I'd like that." "So Jack.... what do you do for a living?" said Harry immediately interrupting. I looked at Harry and he seemed a bit annoyed but I just let it slide. "Well I fund many organizations for different charities so I travel sometimes as well and Im a Youtuber." "That sounds interesting," said Taylor. "Yeah it's quite fun, I was actually planning on making a video with Elena soon." I looked at Jack because I didn't know he wanted me to be in a video. "Oh really? What about?" Asked Taylor. "My girlfriend does my makeup tag." I smiled at Jack and blushed a bit because i thought it was cute that he mentioned me as his girlfriend when he hadn't really made anything official. As I looked at Harry his head was looking down at his food & he kept quite. "You alright babe?" asked Taylor. He didn't respond. "Babe?" she said once again. No response. "Harry? I said. He immediately lifted his head up and faced me. "You alright?" I asked. He looked at Taylor, then Jack and once again me and said, "I need some air." He stood up and walked outside the front door. "He's probably just not feeling well, he works to hard," said Taylor. "Well he should really cut back on that work and maybe hang with his best mates for a bit," said Jack. I was concerned with what was going on with Harry so I said, "I'll be right back." I stood up from my seat and walked out the front door. "Harry?" I called out when I couldn't find him. "Harry?" I called out one last time until I saw him sitting down on the grass next to a pond by the restaurant. I walked over to him and sat down right next to him. There was nothing but silence as we both stared at the beautiful pond filled with ducks and pretty flowers. "Remember back in High School how we would always drive by Jefferson Lake and just lay on the grass and look up at the sky," he said. I smiled at the beautiful memories we shared. "Of course I remember, the grass would always get you so itchy." We both laughed and he said, "I remember one day we went to that Lake and I was having a rough day because nobody believed in me when I told them I wanted to write songs and sing..." I started remembering that day and what he had told me he dreamt of being. "Not one person ever thought I could make it... except you." He then turned his head and looked at me and I looked at him. "You've believed in me from the beginning. You've always been there for me & i cannot believe how lucky I am to have you in my life, always." I smiled and looked back down. "Harry I've never stopped believing in you... If anything I'm the one extremely lucky to have you." He smiled and we both stood silent again for a moment. "He seems like a good guy... Jack." I ran my fingers through my hair. "Yeah, he is." "You must really like him?" I nodded my head and said, "He's really sweet." But nothing compared to how i felt and still feel towards Harry. But I couldn't tell him because he was with Taylor and I didn't want to ruin the relationship he had chosen to be in. I liked Harry, alot. But I have to move on, I have to except that him and I will only be friends and nothing more. "Taylor doesn't seem so bad herself." I said. "Yeah, she's a sweet girl." I lightly smiled and started playing with my fingers. "But there's only one problem..." "What?" I asked. "... She's not you." I looked up at him again & stared into his eyes as he stared in mine. I broke the moment by once again looking back at the pond. "Are you going to tell me what's wrong?" He sighed and said, "I can't." "Why not?" "I just can't Elena..." I sighed and felt not only ashamed but I felt like our friendship was growing apart because we would ALWAYS tell each other everything no matter what yet this time he refused? "Is it something with Taylor?" "No, it's not," he said. "Your family? Are they ok?" "They're fine, it's not them." "Harry..." I looked up at him. "You know you can tell me anything." "Your my best friend, I know I can. But it wouldn't be right of me, so can we please just drop it?" I could tell by his voice he sounded sad but before taking it any further I simply said, "Okay." "We should probably head back though." "Yeah, alright," he said while laughing a bit. He stood up and then helped me up and we started walking back to the restaurant. "When are you coming back?" I crunched my eyebrows in confusion. "To work?" he said. "Oh, I'm not sure." "Well, I really miss you Elena. We all do." "I do to." "I'm sorry for making you leave--." "Let's just forget about that," I said not wanting to remember. He nodded and said, "I just hope you come back soon." I smiled and we walked in the restaurant. "What took you two so long?" asked Taylor with a bit of an attitude. "I'm sorry Harry just needed some air." "We'll I hope you're feeling better mate," said Jack. "Yeah thanks." We both sat down and continued the evening. When we were done eating we all walked out of the restaurant together and said our goodbyes. "Do you guys have any plans later on today?" asked Jack. "We actually don--." "Yes we do, I just arrived London today & my baby Harry here was going to show me around a bit." "Well you might wana avoid the paparazzi then, they're crazy," I said and Harry laughed. "I love them, gotta show off the boyfriend to the world," she said while kissing Harry's cheek. I didn't like how Taylor tried to brag about her relationship with Harry but I just kept to myself. "Well it was very nice meeting you Taylor," I said. "You two." She took her hand out and I shook it. "And it was nice to meet you Jack." "Pleasures all mine," he said. "I'll be in the car," said Taylor as she walked away. "I'll go start the car," said Jack "It was very nice to meet you Harry, maybe we can get together again sometime." "Yeah, that'd be nice." I liked the way they were both treating each other, like friends. I was a bit worried that they'd hate each other but I'm glad it's this way. "I'll meet you in the car Elena." I nodded and Jack walked off to the parking lot. "So?" said Harry. "So?" "Thanks for paying," I said and Harry laughed. "No problem." I smiled and said, "Well I guess we better get going. Jacks already in the car and I don't want to keep Taylor waiting." "I'll see you around?" I said. Harry nodded and I looked at him, smiled and began to walk away. "Elena?" Harry called out. He froze for a second and he looked a bit worried. "I will see you around.. Right?" He was referring to If I was going to come back to work. I wanted to tell him that I already made up my mind to come back but at that moment I thought of surprising him instead. Without saying a word to Harry I simply just walked back over to him, gave him a hug and a light kiss on the cheek. I looked into his eyes and saw his smile and then walked away. When I reached the car I got in and put on my seat belt. "Where to next love?" "I'm actually a bit tired I have work tomorrow so I was hoping to just rest today." "No problem ill drop you off at your flat." "Okay thanks." ----- "Thank you for taking me out." "Thank your friend Harry for me for getting us the seats." "I'll be sure to tell him." "You two seem close?" I smiled and looked at Jack, "He's my best friend, of course we are." "But were just friends, don't worry." He smiled and leaned in to set a kiss on my lips. "I'll call you later?" I smiled and nodded and got out of the car. ----- It was 8 pm and I had just woken up from my nap by the sound of my phone ringing. I sighed and struggled to get out of bed. "Hello?" I said in a low voice. "Love?" "Who is this?" "Harry?" "Oh sorry, hey what's up?" "Did you just wake up?" "Ding ding ding," I joked. Harry laughed and said, "Lazy ass." "Hey it's been a long day, besides aren't you supposed to be with Taylor expressing your love out to the world?" Harry stood silent for a second. "There's something I have to tell you Elena, something you should know about us." "What do you mean?" "The things is.. Taylor and I are--." Suddenly I heard a beep on my phone and realized Jack was calling. "Everything ok over there?" asked Harry. "Yeah Jacks just calling me right now." "Oh, well you could answer it if you want?" "You sure?" "Yeah, we can talk some other time." "Alright well I'll talk to you later ok?" "Okay." "And Harry?" I said before. "I'm happy I saw you today." Harry's POV: "I'm Happy I saw you today." I know she couldn't notice but I was smiling so much when she had told me that. "Me too." "Goodbye Harry." "Bye Elena." She ended the call and I sat up from bed. Taylor then walked out of the bathroom in her bra and underwear still with her sex hair. "Who was that?" "Elena." "Ughh." "What?" "I don't like that chick." "Excuse me?" I got up from bed. "What?" said Taylor. "Elena is my best friend." "And?" "And you have no right to talk about her that way!" "Why not? It's not like you two were ever anything!" "Get your clothes and get out!"I said to her. "Oh come on Harry, we were having so much fun. Don't be like that," she said as she came closer to me and rubbed my arms. "Leave Taylor." "Fine." She grabbed all her clothes off the floor and slid them on and angrily shut the door. I didn't say anything after that only thought in my head was that Taylor is definitely nothing compared to Elena.
