When Feelings Come Back
"Best Friends don't tell secrets"
Elena's POV:
It's been 4 weeks since I've seen or talked to Harry. He never called or texted me, I haven't heard from him. Only see the many articles of the new couple Haylor. Lou found out about our fight just after it happened so she gave me some time to go away for a while and think things over so I've been staying at my flat in London the entire time. The boys would come and visit once in a while to see how i was doing, especially Niall & Louis but never Harry. I've missed them. I wasn't sure when I'd be coming back but I know I couldn't be gone forever because it was my career of course. So I decided to get back to work after tomorrow since we will all be going on tour very shortly. I just hope nothing between Harry and I get through my career.
It was around 10 pm and I was siting in bed reading, still in my pjs with my hair high up in a pony tail and my glasses on when I heard a knock on the door. I opened it and saw Niall standing there, smiling and holding up a huge bag of chips, drinks, candy and ice cream. I couldn't help but laugh at him and all he said was, "Movie Night?"
I nodded my head and let him come inside. He threw the bag on my bed and I asked him, "What movie are we watching?"
He then digged his hand in the bag and brought out 3 movies.
"I couldn't decide between these three so I'm going to let you decided, yeah?"
I looked at the movies and laughed because he brought Mean Girls along with The Dark Knight and The Avengers. He knows how I love my superhero movies!
"Hmm let's watch Mean Girls! Haven't seen it in so long!"
"Alright Mean Girls it is! Nice pjs by the way."
I looked down at my One Direction Pjs that Niall and Louis had bought me while I was gone and laughed.
He put the movie in and we both sat on my bed pigging out.

During the movie me and Niall were just talking and eating of course.
"So how are the boys?"
"They're good, Liam and Louis are at the flat playing video games and Zayn's at Perries and her family."
"And Harry?"
Niall looked at me when I asked him that question.
"I don't want lie to you but he's with Taylor and he seems fine."
I just let out a sigh and Niall continued, "But you'll never guess what happened with Louis and Eleanor!"
"What?"
"Promise you won't tell!"
"Best friends don't tell secrets to others!" I said.
He smiled and said, "They slept together!"
My mouth dropped and I said, "No way! When!"
"A couple weeks ago like before you left."
"That crazy!"
"And get this.. Louis doesn't even know!"
"What?!"
"He was drunk, they both were."
"Wait how do you know this?!"
"I caught Eleanor the next morning leaving the flat with her hair messed up smelling like alcohol and sex!"
"Oh my gosh what did she say?"
"Just to not tell Louis and that she'll talk to me about it but she hasn't yet but I'll confront her soon."
"Wow and Louis has no clue?"
"No he remembers sleeping with someone but doesn't know it was Eleanor."
"Wow, best friends falling for each other huh?"
As soon as I said that It reminded me of Harry and I.
I zoned out for a bit and Niall could tell something was wrong.
"What's the matter love?"
"Nothing."
He sighed and said, "You know you could tell me anything."
I looked at him and put my food down.
"I just, can't believe Harry would move on that fast."
"I'm sure he still has feelings for you love. Harry and Taylor don't even look like they're dating. They're always so awkward around each other."
"Then why would he date her?"
"Who knows love. Maybe he needs something to take his mind off of you since he thinks you're already dating too."
"Wait what? Dating who?"
"Well he told me he saw you with some guy that night you disappeared the day of the Ellen Show and that you guys seemed and flirtatious and like you liked each other so he must of assumed you are dating by now."
"Well I'm not, I haven't even seen the guy."
"Well then who is he?"
"He's someone I met that day at Starbucks. He handed me my backstage pass that I guess I dropped and we just started taking and he gave me a ride home.. And his number but I haven't even called him."
"Why not?"
"Because I probably won't ever see him again so what's the point."
"Well you need something to take your mind off Harry. And I'm pretty sure late night movies and snacks won't help much."
I thought about what he was saying and he was right.
If Harry can just move on so fast, so should I.
I grabbed my phone and opened my wallet where I had put Jack's number in.
"What are you doing?" said Niall.
"Moving on."
I dialed his number and waited for him to answer.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jack, it's Elena Valentine. We met a few weeks ago at Starbucks?"
I was hoping he'd remember but was worried when the moment stood silent.
"I was wondering when you'd call?"
I smiled and he said, "Need another save love?"
"I was hoping you'd say that."
Niall just looked at me and smiled and signaled that he was leaving because it was getting late and I nodded at him and gave him a hug.
I walked him out the door and he turned to face me and I mouthed "thank you" before he left.

"I'm not even joking, my boss is scary."
"She sounds like it."
Jack and I went out for some Starbucks later that night and we chatted the whole way.
He was funny and charming and for once I didn't think of Harry.
We walked back to my flat and stood out of my front door facing each other.
"Well thank you for the tea," I said.
"No problem, I had a great night."
"Same here."
"So how about next time, I take you out on a proper date."
I smiled and he leaned in closer and closer and I closed the space between us and kiss him.
As the kiss ended, we slowly moved apart and I smiled and said, "I'd love to."
I went inside my flat and texted Niall.
"Tonight was great, thank you."
I set my phone on my bed and I went to take a shower.
After the shower I changed and grabbed my phone to open Niall's message.
"What happened tonight?"
"Let's just say things between Jack and I went good."
I then sat up to walk to the bathroom but my phone immediately vibrated.
"Wow Niall texts fast," I told myself.
I looked at my phone and saw that Harry had actually texted me.
I opened the message.
"Goodnight. x"
His message made me smile of course no matter how mad i was at him so I texted him back.
"Goodnight Harry. x"
I set my phone aside and went to bed.
Harry's POV:
I was about to go to my room until Niall comes in the door.
"Hey mate," I said.
"Where did you go?"
"At Elena's."
"Oh."
Niall walked over to the kitchen, where I was at and grabbed some water he set his phone and keys on the counter and went to the restroom to shower.
I heard his phone ring and walked over to it.
"Niall! You got a mess--."
I stopped when I read Elena's name on the screen so curiously I opened it.
"Tonight was great, thank you."
I was curious to what she meant by that so I texted back, pretending I was Niall and asked..
"What happened tonight?"
She then texted back a couple minutes later.
"Let's just say things between Jack and I went good."
My heart dropped, she was seeing Jack. I couldn't believe it. I set his phone down and went straight up to my room. As I was laying on my bed I scrolled through the pictures of Elena and I. I smiled through every one of them and wondered how she was doing. I know the boys would visit her a lot and tell me she was doing fine but I never visited her I was afraid she hated me so I never once saw her. I then received a text from Taylor and it read.
"We need to go out more, can we meet up tomorrow for breakfast?"
"Sure, sounds good."
"Alright goodnight."
"Goodnight."
I didn't want her to be the last goodnight for tonight so I decided to text Elena.
"Goodnight. x"
I stared at my ceiling until my phone vibrated and I immediately opened the message saying "Goodnight Harry. x"
I smiled reading that, maybe she wasn't mad anymore? I missed her so much. I wanted to tell her everything, the truth and how much I missed her. But I knew it wouldn't do much, it was to late. She was happy with Jack and I wasn't just going to ruin it all. No matter how deep I was in love with her. Yes.... In love.
