When Feelings Come Back
Realizing the truth
Harry's POV:
"Louis what did you do?."
I see him quickly getting up from bed as well as the blonde girl next to him.
"I'll explain everything later Harry," he said.
He then turns to the girl and says, "You should go."
She nods at him, grabs her clothes from the floor and walks out of the door.
"Who is she?" I asked.
"I met her last night at the club. Harry I was drunk, I didn't know what I was doing."
"You were drunk? That's your excuse, what about Elena! How do you think she'll feel when she finds out?" I asked raising my voice.
"Harry.." he started.
".... don't tell Elena."
"Why shouldn't I she has a right to know Louis you two have been basically together since she got here, I thought you had feelings for her and you go off and sleep with other girls? Or is Elena just another one of your short term love affairs?!"
"Harry I was drunk! It was just one mistake."
"Oh yeah what about the next time you get drunk & make another mistake? What then?"
"There won't be a next time, besides since when did you start getting all overprotective of Elena? Your just friends."
I paused for a moment not knowing what two say. Elena and I were friends but I looked at her as someone more than a friend. As much as i was mad at Louis for his mistake I couldn't tell him my true feelings for Elena because I was afraid of the consequences that might come afterwards.
"She's not just my friend Louis, she's the closest person I know. And I will always be there for her just like she was always for me."
He looked at me in an understanding way & said "And your my bestest mate, what about that?"
I then looked at Louis once more and walked out of the room.
Louis POV:
After Harry walked out of the room I sat on my bed just thinking.
I didn't want to tell Harry the truth, the truth that I didn't have one drink last night.
I was completely sober when I met Lexi & when I decided to bring her home.
I knew that if I had told him he would of just went off telling Elena what had happened and that what we had would be over completely.
I honestly have no explanation to why I brought Lexi home with me, the way she just moved on the dance floor attracted me & she came over and started flirting with me so I obviously flirted back. Elena was far from my mind, anything I did last night I didn't regret.
Maybe Harry was right?
Maybe I was only liking Elena for a short amount of time because if I really did like her the way I think I do, I would have never slept with Lexi.
I was beyond confused, I didn't know what was true, so I grabbed my phone and called the one person I could always count on.
I called Eleanor.
Eleanor's POV:
I was just about to get in the shower until I her my phone ring.
I check the caller and see Louis name & immediately answered.
"Hello this is Porky's Pizza, how may I help you?" I joked with him.
"Very funny Eleanor."
"Louis Tomlinson up at 8 in the morning after a night of partying, how shocking."
"Well you better believe it cause I'm up."
I laughed & said, "Well what's up?"
"I think I need your help." he said.
"You think?"
"I know."
"Well what is up you need help with."
"I'd rather talk about this in person so could we meet up at Malvoras?"
"Yeah just let me get in the shower really quick ill be there in 20 minutes."
"Alright love ill see you then."
"See you soon."
I hung up and quickly got in the shower.
When I got out of the shower I walked over to my closet and got dressed.
I wore my high waisted shorts with a small pink top, a white cardigan & my pink converse. I walked back to the restroom and put some light makeup on & since my hair was naturally wavy I didn't bother fixing it. After I was done, I grabbed my white purse & my phone & headed to Malvoras.

I walked in the shop and saw Louis sitting on our table. Every time we come here together we've always been sitting in the exact same spot because that's the spot when we first met a while back.
As i was walking over to the table Louis saw me and stood up.
"Hey love."
"Hey Louis."
I gave him a hug and a light kiss on the cheek and we both sat down.
"Sooo---." I started.
"--- What is it you needed to talk about?"
He sighs before speaking and says, "I think I've really got myself in a mess this time.."
"So tell me."

As Louis was explaining the whole situation to me I could tell he wasn't very happy with why he had done but he didn't feel and grief either.
"Now I just don't know what to do," finished Louis.
"Well.. first of all, do you like this girl Elena?"
"I don't know, I mean I think I do or did."
"Well there is a difference between liking someone and just finding someone attractive."
"Well that's the thing, the other night I took Elena to El Mezios resturant to eat and when I was with her It was... Nice. Like I don't ever take girls out like that & with Elena I felt like I did like her because of everything I was doing or acting like that I wouldn't normally do with other girls. But maybe Harry's right, maybe I'm just using her without even knowing I am."
I looked at Louis and could tell he was extremely confused on how he felt towards Elena.
"Do you want to hear the truth?"
"Sure, why not."
"I believe that you care for Elena, but nothing more than a friend."
Louis then looks at me in a confused way, "What do you mean?"
"Louis, your my BEST FRIEND. I know you so well, better than your own mother. And with all honesty If you really liked Elena like the way you think you do.... You wouldn't be here talking to me about it. You would be at her flat, telling her everything. Telling her the truth. The fact that you didn't really think of Elena last night when you brought Lexi home was because you don't have feelings for her & I doubt you do now because like I said you would be with Elena right now, not here."
It took a while for Louis to process what I was telling him but he finally pulled through.
"It's funny because I know that's all true, I just didn't want to admit it to myself."
"Louis, your not a bad person for doing what you did even if you believe you are. Louis..---."
I then reached over and placed my hand on top of his that was laying on the table.
"Your absolutely the most amazing and caring guy I've ever met. And one day someone will come by and you'll completely fall in love, without even realizing it. And that girl... will be the luckiest girl in the world."
Louis POV:
"---And that girl... will be the luckiest girl in the world."
The moment she said that I felt a tingle in the hand she was holding on to. I looked up at her and smiled knowing that I was lucky to have a very very special person in my life.
"You always know what to say."
She laughed and said, "Because I know you Louis Tomlinson! We've been best freinds since forever! And..."
"And?"
"I'll always be here for you. No matter how far away you are I'll fricken rob a jet and travel across the globe just to see you."
I laughed and soon understood why Harry wouLd be protective with Elena.
"Now I get it."
"Get what?" she asked.
"Why Harry would be so protective or Elena. They've been such close friends in High school and I could just understand why she means so much to him."
"Well they were together for quite a while obviously feelings would come back for each other."
"Feelings?.."
I was confused, what did she mean?
"What do you mean.. Feelings?"
"Louis.. well it's obvious of course. I thought you knew?"
"Knew what?"
The moment stood silent while Eleanor took her time to respond back.
"Harry & Elena were together for a couple years, that's why they're so close now, that's how they know each other and --"
"That's why Harry's cares for her so much." I said finishing her sentence.
"Well-- Why didn't he tell me?"
"Maybe he knew you had feelings for her Elena? Maybe he didn't want to ruin things between you two?"
"I can't believe this. But Harry?-- I mean he must be so hurt-- I've been such a horrible friend-- how could I not have noticed? "
"I'm sorry Eleanor I have to go."
"It's ok I understand."
I quickly got up from my seat and hugged Eleanor goodbye. Before I left the shop i stopped at the front door. I stood there for a couple seconds and turned around to see Eleanor pushing her chair in the table. I then walked back to her and said, "Eleanor?"
"Louis? I thought you were leaving."
"Oh I am I just wanted to say Thank you, for everything. I honestly don't know how lucky I am to have you in my life."
I saw her blush so cutely and I lifted her chin up and slowly kissed her on the cheek. I looked back at her, smiled & then left the shop.
Why did I just do that?

I arrived home and noticed the house was empty.
"Guys?" I called out.
"Helloooo I'm home!"
Nobody answered.
When I walked into the kitchen I heard a guitar playing from the upstairs balcony. I immediately walked upstairs toward the music and started hearing a voice sing, it was Harry's voice. He was sitting out of the balcony singing a song I've never heard of before so instead of interrupting him I stood by the stairs watching and listening as he started to sing again.

When he was about done I walked toward him and he finally noticed me.
"Oh.. Hey."
"Hey mate."
"I didn't know you were back."
"Yeah I just got back actually but noticed the other boys weren't home?" I said while sitting on the sofa next to where Harry was sitting.
"They all went out to the beach." he said.
"You didn't want to go?"
"Not really."
I knew Harry was feeling down because he wouldn't never turn down an opportunity to go to the beach.
"I'm sorry mate."
"For what?" he said.
"For me acting like an idiot, making all these mistakes, not realizing that you had feelings for her, for Elena."
He looked at me with a curious face.
"I know Harry," I told him.
Realizing what I was talking about I then asked Harry, "Why didn't you tell me mate? About You and Elena & what you guys had in high school."
"I mean it was high school Louis, that was back then."
"Harry I know it wasn't just back then.. Tell me the truth."
"I don't know Louis. I guess I just didn't want to ruin or mess things up between you and Elena because you seemed happy when you told us you liked her and when you brought her over and took her out--"
"Harry," I cut him off.
"I don't have feelings for Elena, at least nothing more than a friend."
"You.. Don't?"
"No I don't."
"Then why would you say that you did? Why would you act like you did?"
"I guess I didn't really figure that all out until today."
Harry set down his guitar next to him as he held his hands together and looked at the ground, just thinking.
"Look... Harry, I'm not mad that you didn't tell me I'm just worried that our friendship would fade away because of this situation and your my best mate I don't want that to happen."
I thought things were getting bad because Harry stood quite for a couple minutes until he soon smiled and said, "You'll always be my best mate Louis, no matter what."
I then jumped to him and started messing up his curls, "That's my Harry!"
We both laughed and I then got off of him and sat back down on the couch.

"So what?"
"How did you and Elena even meet?"
"You mean back in high school?" he asked.
"Yeah, you never really told me."
"You never asked."
"Well I am now so tell me."
"Well it's kind of a long story.."
