All We Need Is Love ♦A 1D & 5SOS Adoption Story♦

I sat in the room after Liv left, sobbing… for the first time in forever I felt alone and scared… What if my adoption dad didn’t like me? What if he’s like my birth dad? What of my adoption dad lead me to start to cut again? I started to bawl even harder when I thought about cutting again. Just then Cindy walked in, she looked pale.

“What’s wrong?” I sniffled

“Nothing” She says with a fake smile

“I’m fifteen, not stupid… I know a fake smile when I see one because I use to put one on everyday, also you look really pale” I reply

“You always were the most observant” She says

“But why are you upset” I ask again

“All of my foster children are leaving. I’m just going to be an old, lonely lady.” She says with a real smile this time

“First, you’re only 37, that’s not old, second, you’re going to get other foster children, maybe even adopt one!” I say with my goofy smile

She laughs “You know? Maybe I will” She says with pride. I laugh.

“Now come on, you have ten minutes, we don’t want to be late for your new dad” She says with the smile fading away. I tear up at those two words ‘new dad’. By the time I gather all my things there are tears streaming down my face. I started to sing Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie but that only made me cry harder. Those girls… Those girls helped me through so much, they made me stop cutting, they were nice to me, they loved me, and I loved them… But now, now its like it all vanished into thin air.

I walked down the hall and I saw Carmen with Zayn Malik. Carmen ran towards me and she opened her arms. I did too and we collided. I picked her up and spun her around. I was going to miss her so much.

“I love you” I whispered after I was done spinning

“I love you, too” she replied. I set her down and I realized that there was a tear falling down her flawless face.

“Don’t you dare cry. This is amazing” I said, wiping her tears while trying to hold back mine.

“Ok, Who’s your new dad?” She asked

“I don’t know” I look up and see Zayn Malik looking at me.

“Hi, um, I’m Zayn” He says, I could tell he was on the verge of tears also.

Being me, I tried to bring up the mood. “Um, Hi ya, I’m Scarlet” I say holding out my hand.

“Nice to meet you” He says with a smile.

“See? You’re in good hands!” I say

“Well, we must be going we have a flight to catch.” Zayn says. My stomach dropped. A flight?

“Oh, ok, Well I hope to see you soon!” I say with fake enthusiasm

“Chi Chi, Cam”

“Love you, Scar” She says

I walk into the room and see a younger man, picking up the things on the desk. He looked up and saw me and he dropped the stapler on the desk. I giggle.

“HII!” He says with excitement

“HII!” I yell back and we both laugh, maybe this wasn’t going to be so bad.

“I’m Louis Tomlinson and you’re Scarlet?”

“Thats right, Tomo” I say cheerfully, he really brightened my mood pretty fast.

“Well then, do you have your belongings?”

“Yap” I say

“Ok great! To the airport we go!”

“Woah, what”

“Love, were going to London!” He shouts. A tear sheds and Louis walks over.

“You’ll see them soon enough” He says as he puts his arm around me and we walk out the door.
