Ria's P.O.V.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I was happy to be going to school to get away from my dad.

I got up and got in the shower. I started to relax as the hot water hit my body.

When I got out of the shower I examined my bruises in the mirror, they were really bad. I didn't know what I was gonna say to my school, I have a massive bruise on my cheek.

I covered it up with makeup and when it looked right I went to pick my outfit for the day.

Once I was dressed I headed downstairs sure not to wake my dad up.
I was relieved once I was out of the house, you know just to be away from him for the day. Sometimes it felt like a dream you know? Like this wasn't actually my life.

He wasn't always abusive, it only really started when my mum died, he blamed me for it.

I was so deep into my thoughts that I didn't notice it started lashing rain.
"Uh great, just my luck" I thought to myself.

Just then, a range rover pulled up beside me. I thought it was just someone looking for directions until I saw Niall open the door and tell me to get in. I hesitated but decided to hop in the front seat, he seemed trustworthy.

"What are you doing out in the rain?" he asked.
"I'm walking to school" I told him.
"Can you not drive?" He asked. Did he not guess my age?
"I'm only fourteen I can't drive yet" I exclaimed.

He looked at me for a few seconds, he looked shocked, I assumed he was sixteen or seventeen but I was starting to think that maybe he was a bit older.

"You're fourteen?! You look a lot older" He said.
"I know I've been told before, how old are you?" I asked.
"Twenty" He sighed.

I was quite disappointed, he was such a nice guy and cute too. But who was I kidding, my dad wouldn't even let me leave the house to go to the shop my let alone let me have a boyfriend.

"O-oh I should probably just walk the rest of the way."
"No no, I can't let you walk in the rain, I'll drive you"
"Um okay" I agreed.

I directed him to my school and on the way we had a really nice chat, he was such a nice guy but we was an adult I was just a kid, he'd never go for me and even if he did, it just wouldn't work.

"Is this it?" I was pulled from my thoughts.
"Oh yeah this is it, thanks"

I opened the door and was about to step out of the car, when he pulled me back by my arm. I turned around to look at him.

"I want to see you again" He said.
"Em is that not kind of inappropriate since, I dunno you're like way older then me"
"I don't care I really like you, but if you don't want to I completely understand"
I was silent for a few seconds when I realised I was gonna be late.
"Text me" I said, remembering he had my number.

I hopped out of the car and went into school, just making it on time.

Niall's P.O.V.

I didn't know what was going on with me. I liked a fourteen year old, a kid!
I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

I decided to call Jason for advice.

"Hey Niall, what's up"
"Hey Jason, could you come over? I really need help with something"
"yeah sure no problem, be there in a few"

About ten minutes later, the doorbell rang so I went to answer it.

"Hey man, whats up" He asked, giving me a hug.

We went inside and sat on the couch.

"Okay you're gonna think I'm crazy when I tell you this, but I really need some help."
"Sure anything, what's going on?" He asked, looking slightly worried.
"Okay so when I was walking to Marios yesterday, I bumped into this girl, and we got talking and exchanged numbers"
"That's great! Is she hot? of course she's hot" He started laughing.
"Oh she's hot trust me but I ran into her again today and well I found out she's only fourteen" I told him.

He looked shocked, I knew this would happen.

"Dude, that's just wrong, she's a kid!" He said.
"I know but I feel like we have a real connection, even though we just met, she makes me happy, I can't stop thinking about her"
"Do you know what will happen if the press find out? You'll be done"
"There's been worse, six years ins't that much and I really like her" I was getting upset now.
"Well I don't think it's a good idea but if you think you can make it work, you should go for it, I'll support you" I was glad to hear him say this.
"Thanks so much man, I really appreciate it"
"No problem, listen I better go but I hope it works out for you" He said, standing up to leave.
"Thanks Jas, I'll see you later" I said as he left my house.

For the rest of the day I just ordered pizza and watched movies and just had some me time.
But I couldn't get her out of my mind, her smile, her voice, her everything.

I decided to text her when I knew her school would be over.

Hey, I can't stop thinking about you, I need to see you,

I sat back and waited for her reply, I didn't know what was wring with me, why was I so obsessed with her?
