You and I (Niall Horan Fanfiction)

Connie's POV

The next morning I woke up and it was really cold. I didn't really want to get out of bed, but I wanted to walk around New York because I haven't been there in a while. I was staying with Bernice in a hotel room. I got up and got ready for the day. I decided to wear dark wash jeans, a sweater and a black wool jacket with a white beanie, since we were going to be out all day. Niall wanted to spend the day together and I didn't really mind. I think we were just going to be walking around and going into different shops.

I finished getting ready and so did Bernice, so we headed to their hotel room. When we got there, Liam opened the door,

"Hey guys!" He said as hugged the both of us.

We went in and I saw all the boys eating breakfast. Niall had like a big plate full of food of course and he was about to take a bite of a piece of bacon, until I ran over and ate it before him.

"Hey!" He said.

"Sorry." I said as I laughed.

Niall continued on with finishing his breakfast and went to get ready. When he finished getting ready, we waved goodbye to the others and headed out the hotel room.

"Is that all you're wearing Connie? You'll be cold! Here, wear my scarf." He said as he was about to give it.

"Aw Niall, don't worry I'm fine. Plus, you'll be cold!" I said.

We were holding hands while walking outside the hotel lobby. There were a lot of girls there waiting to get a glimpse of anyone in One Direction. When we walked out, immediately, everyone started screaming.

"NIALL! I LOVE YOU!"

"WE LOVE YOU NIALL!"

"YOU'RE PERFECT NIALL!"

"HI CONNIE!"

I turned to the direction where someone shouted my name. I waved back at them and they started screaming. I'm not the famous one here!

"Niall, stop to take some pictures with them. I think they'll appreciate it." I said.

Niall was more than happy to. I was helping him take pictures for people and it was amazing to see the smile on their faces. I didn't realize that a fan behind me heard me say that to Niall. She tapped my shoulders and turned around.

"Thank you so much for asking Niall to take some pictures with us. Can I have a hug?" She asked.

"No problem! I'm sure you guys waited a long time! And of course I can give you a hug!" I said as I gave her a hug.

When Niall was done, he grabbed my hand and we both left.

"Your fans are amazing." I said.

"They really are and they seem to really like you as well." He said.

I smiled and we walked around.

We went to different stores near the area such as Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, Topshop, H&M, etc. I sort of dragged Niall to these shopping places. I bought a couple of things, and so did Niall, so it wasn't that boring for him!

It was around the afternoon time until we stopped at a small restaurant for lunch.

"I'm so tired! We walked a lot!" I said.

"We did, and waiting for you to pick clothing is tiring." Niall said jokingly.

"Next time, we'll pick something you want to do for the whole day." I said.

"Stay indoors, eat pizza and play Fifa." Niall said.

"Fine by me!" I said as I laughed.

"Oh yeah, Connie, tonight the boys and I wanted to go to a club tonight. Do you want to come?" He asked.

"I think I'll pass on this one. Clubs aren't really my thing, but you go have fun with the guys. I'll just probably stay in with the girls." I said.

"Alright, are you sure?" Niall said.

"Yeah, I'm sure!" I said.

"Tomorrow is New Years' Eve! Are you excited? Any resolutions?" He asked.

"Eat healthier and get more exercise." I said as I looked at Niall. We both couldn't keep a straight face because we knew that won't happen for the both of us.

"What about you?" I asked.

"Spend more time with you." Niall said.

I smiled. We spent a good hour talking and eating. It was a fun time.

After lunch, we walked around a bit more. Some of the paparazzi were following us and I felt slightly uncomfortable. They shove cameras really close into your personal space. I looked down most of the time and I could Niall was getting angry.

We went back to the hotel and I was relieved no one was following us anymore. We went back to the boys' hotel and everyone was surprisingly home already.

"Niall! We've been waiting for you to go to the club!" Harry said.

"I'll go get ready." Niall said as he left.

"I guess we're staying indoors for the night!" Eleanor said.

"Fine by me!" Sophia, Bernice and I said as we all laughed.

The boys all left and all the girls just hung out.

"We haven't seen you guys in so long! How are things?" Sophia said.

"Just a lot of school and university applications to do." Bernice said.

"Do the best you can in your final year of high school, but also have fun since it's your last year in high school." Eleanor said.

True, but sometimes it's hard not to stress with all this pressure." Bernice said.

"Connie! I love your necklace! Where did you get it?" Sophia said.

"Oh Niall, got it for my as a Christmas present. I told him no gifts!" I said.

"Would he really have took your word for it?" Bernice said with a laughed.

"I guess he wouldn't." I said.

"How's Harry and you Bernice?" Sophia asked.

"We're great. I think we are getting pretty serious in our relationship." Bernice said.

"What about you and Niall Connie?" Eleanor asked.

"We're going great. I personally like to take things slower, and I'm really glad he understands that." I said.

We just talked all night and it was so fun. When it was getting late, I decided to head back to the hotel room. Bernice, Eleanor and Sophia stayed at the boys' room.

Niall said he was going to come to Bernice and I's hotel room afterwards, so, I wanted to wait for him.

I was reading a book when I was half asleep. Before I could fall asleep, I heard a loud banging on the door. Who could it be? I got up to open the door and It was Niall who was really drunk.

He was about to fall to the floor, before I caught him. I carried him to my bed because he was really drunk. I could tell he vomited due to the smell of his breath.

"Niall, you should get some rest and let me get you some water." I said.

"No!" He said as he was walking around the room in a sloppy position around the room.

I went to pour him some water.

"Niall, drink some water and get some rest." I said.

He was resisting at first, but I think drinking water will help him prevent a hangover and keep him hydrated. Keep in mind, I never drank before.

"You don't control me!" He said.

"True, but I care about you." I said as I was trying to stay calm and not get angry for what he said because I know he was drunk.

"No you don't! You probably never did! I hate you, you're probably only dating me to try to get over Evan. You tell me about the issues you dealt with in the past to make me feel sympathy for you, but I don't care!" He said.

My mouth was wide opened. I can't believe he said that. He walked over and pulled the necklace out of my neck and stepped on it.

Tears were streaming down my face. Is this really how he felt? He doesn't care about me.

Niall fell to the floor. I'm pretty sure he blacked out. I carried him onto my bed and sat on the sofa. I couldn't just leave him here, so I stayed on the couch while he was sleeping.

It was around 4 a.m. when I woke up. While I was awake watching over Niall, I decided that it was best that I left. He doesn't care about me and I was stupid to believe he did. I got up and got ready. My eyes were puffy from all the crying I did last night. Bernice stayed at the boys' room and I wasn't going to tell her I was leaving because she would've left with me. I didn't want her to leave because of me.

I quickly started packing my things, quietly. I left a note for Bernice and one for Niall as well.

I headed out the hotel room and out the hotel. I got into a taxi and headed to the airport.

I am so done with everything.


Note: I just wanted to say that this is just a fanfiction and I decided to add this type of drama into my story to kind of spice it up a bit ;) I'm pretty sure if Niall had a girlfriend, he would treat her like a princess! :)
