Reese's P.O.V

I sat with Zayn on the sofa,It was about three o'clock in the morning we'd stayed up the whole night watching films and eating sweets.

"AHhh,i did you see his face"We were watching white chicks,it's one of my favourite films and although Zayn thought it was stupid he was still laughing.

"Did you hear that?"It sounded like something banging downstairs,i looked at Zayn who just shrugged but something didn't feel right.

"I'm sure i heard something"I muttered more to myself,i heard it again,so i turned the volume on the T.V down,earning a groan from Zayn and a annoyed look,i got up from my seat and headed over to the door.

I opened the front door slightly,sticking my head out so i could hear better"Zayn quick come here"I signaled for him to come to the door with my hand.

"Fine"He moaned getting of the sofa and coming over to the door,the noise stopped for a moment before starting again,i gave Zayn a questioning look but he seemed just as confused as me.

"Go get dressed,just in case,i'm going to have a look i'll be right back"Zayn muttered to me,i nodded at did as he said going to get dressed,i pick up the first pair of jeans i see,i decided to keep on my t-shirt,i grabbed my leather jacket and pulled my shoes on.

"Come on,we've got to go"Zayn looked panicked when he came back into the flat i was dressed and i had picked up my phone along with zayn and his jacket and shoes.

"What's going on,is everything okay?"Nothing had ever happened like this before i was getting a little worried.

Zayn took my hand in his,pulling the front door of his flat closed behind us,i waited silently for him to lock it and he guided us to the staircase at the back of the building.

"Keep your head down and follow me,i'll explain later just stay quiet"I gibbed his hand tighter the fear and panic running through my body.

There was a horrible screaming sound the rung through the building,i covered my ears trying to block out the terrible noise,in the process i'd let go of Zayn's hand and he'd gone ahead running silently down the stairs.

Everything happened so quickly,one second i was covering my ears,watching Zayn running ahead of me the next the was a massive black thing in front of me.

The moment i laid eyes on the terrifying creature i screamed,it was like something from a horror film,when you see the girl by herself getting attacked by the evil ghost thing,it reminded me of something from doctor who.

After my first reaction was to scream before i knew what i was doing i was running down the stairs as fast as i possibly could in the hope of getting away from the thing,i pushed myself to run faster as i was reaching the bottom of the staircase,in the corner of my eye i saw that the thing was no longer following me.

I turned around just to make sure and it was clear i was the only one on the staircase,i carried on going down the steps at a much lower pace now but as i finally reached the bottom,a scream came from me again when i saw Zayn laying on the floor in a puddle of blood.

At my scream Zayn and the other man's head snapped in my direction,the man quickly got up of Zayn and slowly walked towards me"Reese,run"Zayn voice shouted but i was frozen in my place.

My mind didn't get the chance to process what was happening before i was thrown across the room and hit the hard brick wall my body and head slamming down on the the floor,the sharp pain in my head stung as i reached up and touched my head,wincing at the pain i also felt warm liquid,i was bleeding no wonder my vision was becoming blurry and everything started to spin.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before trying to stand up,i pushed my body of the floor leaning against the wall for support when Zayn stood in front of me,helping me onto my feet.

"Are you okay?Come on we need to get you out of here!"I pulled up an arm snaked around my body stopping me from falling over "Zayn what happened?"I blinked a few times trying to get used the the horrible pain throbbing in my head.

"Ahh"I shrieked when Zayn had suddenly turned into to a blonde boy with blue eyes that pierced into mine.

"Zayn will be with us in a minute,but for now we need to get you somewhere safe"I was pulled out of the familiar building and into the cold october air.

I stopped at his words"I'm not going anywhere without Zayn,i don't even know you"I pushed the young boy away from me,and took a step away from him.

"My names Niall,i'm Zayn friend you can trust me!"I looked at him skeptically,did he really know Zayn.

"Shit Zayn"I remembered seeing him last laying in a pool of blood on the floor,i turned around and run back to the back door of the building of flats that i lived in with Zayn.

I scanned over the room,my eyes searching for the boy that was a few years older than me,his black hair and tall body was pressed against a wall,he was being held up by the collar by the muscular man i'd seen on top of him earlier.


Tears stung my eyes and threatened to fall at the sight of the boy who wads like a older brother to me,before my vision became blurred by tears i silently moved over to a table and picked up the heaviest thing on there.

I bought the old looking heavy vase up in the air and smashed it over the back of the mans head,he immediately let go of Zayn and although he didn't drop to the floor like i'd hoped he had let go of Zayn,and as he was about to hit me i was grabbed and pushed to the floor by his ruff,blood stained hands.

For the second time that night i hit my head on the marble floor,with a loud smack sound i was nearly unconciuoss,just a i was on the verge of blacking out i was able to hear the sound of a gun shoot,and a heavy felling hit the bottom half of my body.
