It's Complicated

I'm currently in my last class of the day. My last class is math. Luckily I love math, so it doesn't bore me as much.

"Niall what did you get for number 7?"

"69" he chuckled.

"Wow how mature" I said sarcastically.

"What it's funny?" He defended.

"whatever" I punched his arm playfully. He responded by nudging my arm causing me to mess up on my paper.

"Look what you did jerk" I nudged back. He laughed, I couldn't help but laugh too. His laughter is contagious. We laughed so hard that it earned us looks from the people around us.

"Are you busy this weekend?" He asked.

"Ummm...I don't think so... Why?"

"I'm having a get together at my house, and I was wondering you would want to come?"

"I don't know..."

"Please?!?!.. For me?"he pleaded pouting his lips.

"Fine, only because your my favorite Nialler" I giggled.

"YOUR ONE AND ONLY NIALLER" he corrected.
"Whatever"

As I walked up my street, I noticed my old car in the driveway.

What the fuck? That's odd?

"Um.. What are you doing?"

Harry popped his head from under the hood.

"What does it look like I'm doing?"

I know that but, what I meant was why?

"Your mom asked me to fix your car"

"Ummm..thanks"

"Your headlights and your oil needed changing"

"Thanks, so...... You hungry?"

"No thanks I already ate" he said not even bothering to look at me.

"Ok... Well I'm going to be inside if you need me"I said walking towards the door.

Once inside I went into the kitchen and cooked up left overs.

When I was done I went back out to see the progress Harry has made on my car. I stopped in my tracks as he took his flannel off leaving him in just a tank top, exposing his well toned biceps.

"Take a picture it'll last longer" he smirked. I felt my face burn up.

"So... Do you need help?" I asked trying to ignore his previous comment.

"You know about cars?" He chuckled.

"Well... no but, doesn't seem that hard to learn, especially with you as a teacher".

"Ok...lets see...do you now how to change a tire?"

"No.."

"Ok let's start off with that" he crouches down and pulls out his tools. He motions for me to join.

"Ok so first you unscrew these bolts and slide the tire out like this" he carefully slides the tire out and grabs a new one.

"Here now you try screwing the bolts back on" handing me the wrench. I moved in closer tightening as hard as I could. Damn this is harder than I thought, he makes it look so easy.

"Here let me help" he puts his hand over mine. I couldn't help but freeze at the touch. He did most of the work, I just kept my hand there.

Harrys Pov

Her hand was warm against mine. So soft and smooth. Her hair in my face, filled my nostrils with her sweet scent. She turned to face me and I realized that we were really close. My eyes traveled to her lips.

Carries Pov

We stared at each other for what felt like forever. I was going to break the silence but he stopped me before I could. He cupped my cheeks and leaned in closer. Our lips connected at an instant. I felt myself kiss back. His hands traveled down to my waist, mine traveled to his messy locks. I couldn't believe this was happening. It was so.... Wow. I haven't felt this way since me and Luke... Harry's Pov

She pulled back, and removed her arms away and looked up at me scared. She got up and started for the door. I got up and grabbed her by the wrist.

"Harry it's ok, I just need to... I'll see you later" She said wiggling out of my grasp.

I think I officially fucked up. I kicked the tire and cursed at myself for being a fucking idiot. I just had to fuck up.

Carries Pov

I ran up the stairs as fast as I could. I closed my door shut and locked it. I slid down to the floor and cradled myself. How could I have done that? After everything Luke and I have been through. But I will admit this, I did like the feeling of Harry's lips on mine. Is it bad that I didn't regret the kiss?
