This book is the first story in a 5 part stand-alone series, meaning you don't have to read all of them, and you can read them in any order. None of the books have anything to do with the other. Anything that happens in the other stories are coincidental.
Please understand that this is my work, I came up with the ideas and writing in my own brain, and I'd appreciate if you wouldn't copy it. I don't think you'd like it if you worked hard on something, only to have someone else take it away, and stamp their name on it, so please refrain for doing that to me. Also if you find someone copying my work I’d appreciate if you’d let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.
This story is pure fiction. Nothing in this story is real therefore has nothing to do with any of the people that portray these characters. This is just a figment of my imagination. One direction does not exist in this Fanfiction nor will any of the other members be mentioned. They get their own books later.

This story is rated PG13. Although there will be no descriptive sexual content, there are scenes of bullying and this also contains strong language. If you can't handle these I advise you not to read this.
I suggest you listen to the songs posted at the beginning of each chapter, they give more emotion to the story. You never know I may introduce you to a new band/singer you may fall in love with! The songs I post at the beginning are related to the chapter in some way.

Life isn’t fair. Everyone knows that right? From a young age the saying was drilled into your head. Every time you said the three words “it’s not fair” your parents would shoot you down, crush your dreams for a little, throwing three words back in your face. “Life’s not fair.” Then you went on playing with your toys or doing whatever you do for fun.
Well, for little Katerina Graham life was never fair. She had a peanut allergy with deadly consequences. The doctors say it’s the worst case they’ve ever seen. She couldn’t eat the cupcakes her friends brought to school for their birthdays, she couldn’t go out to eat, she couldn’t even eat lunch with her friends because the pure smell of peanut products made her want to vomit. Her parents had to suffer as well; that was the part she hated the most. They hadn’t eaten out in years, because they didn’t want their daughter to be upset, or feel left out.
From the time she fully understood her allergy she vowed to herself that she would learn new recipes and open a place where kids like herself could have the experience of eating out without having to worry about knowing every single ingredient in their food; they could just enjoy it. She made it through culinary school, where everyone thought she was a joke because she couldn’t cook with a number of ingredients. She pushed on, even with the bullies, and graduated at the top of her class. They were jealous at how every dish that included a nut of any sort was perfectly seasoned, and cooked without being able to taste a single thing. The teachers were confused, but nonetheless impressed.
Her life was normal then on getting a job, continuing to live with her roommates/best friends Eden and Ryan, who is a girl, saving up for her restaurant, while paying bills just like any other twenty-one year old. But then she met Niall Horan, and her life not only flipped upside down but turned one-hundred-eighty degrees as well. She was a girl who knew nothing about love. He was a boy who knew too much about love. Sadly the word “love” had a negative connotation with him. So, what happens when these two opposites cross paths? Well, I can’t tell you that, but I can tell you this crazy, messed-up story will be filled with rejection, death, grief, ups, downs, wrongs, rights, and most importantly-love.
