Mona's P.O.V
"Well it's um..." Mr. Palmer starts.

"Can you spit it out please sir?" I ask knowing if I curse or don't be polite Naomi's dad will hate me.

We were all at Michael's house. Cause Luke is staying the night I am to.

"We aren't allowed to give away police business." Craig shoves in helping out Naomi's dad.

Cause Mr. Palmer loved Bella like his own daughter same with Lorelyn and I

"Be-l-la I can't be-live she's dea-d." I stutter cause of of the many tears rolling down my face.

"I know babe I know." Luke says rubbing my back.

"Luke I've known her since the third grade!" I yell.

"I know. I've known you since the sixth. Just I was to shy to talk to you. But baby I love her to and miss her a lot." He says with tears in his eyes

"Mona let's go to my room. And we'll talk more. "

"Okay." I say getting up.

We walk up to his room:
"Okay." I.mope

"Baby I know how you feel." He says.

"How?" I ask.

"I was her best friend to. Ya know." He says

"I know. But she's always been their for me." I say.

"And I haven't." He protests.

"Just let's go to bed." I suggest.

"Okay babe. Want something to wear?" He asks.

"Yes please." I say.

He goes to his droor

"Here." He says handing me clothes

I put them on. And walk out.

"Babe these are mine. Why are they here?" I ask.


"Cause you left em." He smirks.

I roll my eyes at him. And he just laughs.

I lay down next to him. Has he cuddles next to me in this position:

I drift off to sleep as he hums 'll 'I Miss You'

"Baby I love you." He mumbles and kisses my head.

"Love you to baby." I say as my eyes droop down.
