Starting Over

Graduation, Surprises, and One Big Mistake

Samy’s POV
I can’t believe that I graduate today! I’m beyond excited to be finally done with graduate school but I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t a little disappointed that Liam and the boys won’t be here to see it. Eleanor’s coming though and she’s promised to take endless pictures and videos to make them feel guilty with later. I’m in my graduation dress when a knock on the door startles me. I quickly run down the stairs and throw the front door open.
“Hello there, love” says the deep voice that I’ve been longing to hear in person for weeks now. Liam, my Liam. He’s here. I snap my head up and stare into his eyes with tears in mine. He came; he flew over oceans to be here for me. I glance around and notice that they’re all here. All 5 boys, plus Perrie; my whole London family is here for me. Tears stream down my face as I hug each and every one of them.
“This means more to me than you’ll ever realize” I say between choking tears.
“You mean more to me than you’ll ever realize. Did you honestly think that I’d miss my gorgeous fiancé’s graduation?” Liam says in response before kissing me passionately.“Now then, let’s get a move on, yeh? We have a graduation to get to” he jokes before pulling the door closed behind me.
The ceremony was perfect. My name was called, my honors announced, my degree received and I walked off the stage with my head held high. It was amazing to have everyone here who loved me. My parents came over from America, along with a few of my friends. My parents took Liam and I out to dinner that night before kissing me goodbye and heading to a red-eye flight back to America. Liam hooked his arm around my waste and led me out of the airport.
“Now, the graduation party can really begin” he says excitedly.
“What do you mean?” I inquire with a joking tone, though I am genuinely confused.
“Follow me” he says in his sneaky tone. We head into the car and speed off towards downtown London.
About 30 minutes later, we pull up in front of a club. A sign out front signifies the club’s current state: Closed for Private Party. What did this crazy man of mine do? He booked an entire club for me? For my graduation party? He’s amazing. We enter the club, Funky Buddha, and I’m immediately greeted by all my amazing friends and alcohol. Lot’s of alcohol and loud music. My favorite combination.
“This is my favorite club to come to during our breaks. The owner and I have become good friends” Liam explains to me. I knew he went out but I never knew where. I always figured he needed to blow off steam on his own and honestly, it never bothered me. I trust him. We partied for endless hours and didn’t get back to the apartment until nearly 430am. Liam and I drunkenly enjoyed our love for each other after we got home and it wasn’t until we woke up later that day that the reality of the night before hit us. We hadn’t used protection. Liam says he’s not worried though. We’re engaged and he wants kids as soon as I do, but I don’t want them right now. We may be engaged but our relationship is still in its newer stage. Adding a kid to it now might ruin everything we’re still working to build. I guess we’ll just have to see what happens.
Liam and I are headed to the airport now. They’re jet is taking a red-eye route back to America tonight. They think it will cause less chaos at the airport if everyone’s asleep when they take off. Having them all home for the last 24 hours has been amazing and I can’t say that their leaving isn’t making me sad but I know that this is what they all love to do. It’s what they were born to do. Liam and I hug and exchange loving kisses with each other before he turns to walk through the gate to his flight. I disconnect our hands before mine is grabbed again and I’m being pulled through the gate with him.
“Liam, what are you doing? I’m not coming with you!” I say confused as all heck.
“Yes, you are. I’ve got your passport right here with mine and Eleanor packed your suitcase the other day when she was over. Hadn’t you noticed that a bunch of your clothes were missing? She gave it to Paul yesterday and it’s already on the plane. I have you with me for a month, if you want to come that is” he looks at me cautiously with the last part of his explanation.
“Let’s go!” I shout excitedly before running through the gate with him. He really is the best man that anyone could ever ask for.

Notes

Sorry guys, it's kind of a filler chapter. I honestly have the worst writer's block right now. Must be all the night shifts I'm working lol. I'll try my best to update more frequently and with better quality. Meanwhile, enjoy this chapter. Ask me any questions you have as well (story related or personal) and let me know if ya'll ever need anything.

@electrichearts

I honestly didn't know what else to write and I needed a co-owner. I still stand by the ending but I think there could have been a lot more to the story if I had had help.

I just spent the last hour and a half reading through all this! You had me hooked. I can't believe it's over :(
