They Don't Know About Us

"Just come with me, please." I shook my head.

"Liam, how did you even find my apartment?" I rolled my eyes.

"I have my resources." His accent lighting up the mood. "Come on, you won't regret it." I sighed.

"I'm sorry, I can't." I shut the door in his face before I could cave in.

"You'll come one day, you'll see." I heard his footsteps disappear. I couldn't do this, I couldn't set myself up to be disappointed, to get hurt.

Liam's POV

"So she said no?" Zayn asked with his eyes squinted.

"Obviously, she's not here idiot." Niall spat back.

"Oh shut it you two." Harry spoke.

"Well, that just means plan B is ready to happen." Louis smiled.

"And what exactly is plan B Louis?" I crossed my arms and looked at him.

"You send her roses, everyday, till she caves in, girls love roses. Isn't that right Harry?" Louis smiled.

"HA-HA." Harry rolled his eyes. "But yeah, chicks dig it." He smiled. I smiled at them before heading to the door, there was no time to waste. I drove to the local flower shop and bought a dozed of pink roses, red roses just reminded me of love, love that hopefully I can share with Jillian one day. I smiled before driving up to her apartment once more, truth is, I followed her home like a crazy stalker. I couldn't just let a girl like this go. There was something about her that made me want to try, I want to prove to her how I'll always be here for her, even if she doesn't know a single thing about me and I don't know a single thing about her. I got off and placed the vase of roses on the doorstep. I knocked and ran, hiding behind a wall. I saw her open her door and look both ways before she realized the flowers. She took them in her hands and smiled a bit before searching for a note.

"For the beautiful Jillian, I told you I was going to do whatever it takes to make you trust me and possibly like me. It'll happen. Call me when you get these. -Liam" She scoffed and giggled. She walked in and closed her door. I smiled at myself and returned to my car. I turned the engine on and heard my phone go off.

"Hello?" I answered it immediately.

"Liam, what are you doing?" I heard Jillian's voice.

"What do you mean?" I faked a confused tone.

"Sending me flowers, really Liam? How cheesy." I heard her roll her eyes.

"Don't act like you didn't like them." I smiled through the phone.

"I did, I won't lie." I smiled even bigger. "It's actually the first time I've ever got flowers from anyone, thank you." I was taken back a bit. "How about I meet you at the park in 10?" I freaked out silently.

"That would be great." I managed to speak out.

"Great, I'll see you there." She hung up and I jumped up and down on my seat. It worked, it actually worked.

Jillian's POV

"What are you doing Jillian? Caving in already? He only gave you flowers." The devil on my left shoulder spoke.

"Don't listen to that. Jillian, he got you flowers! No one has ever done that for you. He's a great guy and he's cute too." The angel on my right shoulder spoke.

"Just shut up, both of you!" I yelled at myself. I was going insane, and that's probably one of the reasons I wanted to meet up with Liam. I pulled up to the park and I could already see Liam there, with his fans. I got off and walked over to him, slowly but eventually I got there.

"You're here." He screamed over the crazed girls. "Do you guys mind giving us some space?" He asked kindly, I guess what I've heard from him was true, he was sweet.

"Liam, I just wanted to talk to you." He nodded and patted the empty seat next to him. I sat down and he smiled at me.

"So what is it?" He put his arms on his lap.

"I just wanted you to know, you're wasting your time. I know you don't want to give up, but trust me I'm not worth it, I'm not sure if I'll ever trust anyone and you seem like a sweet guy, you shouldn't be wasting your time on me." His smile turned into a frown.

"I'm not wasting my time, I know you will trust me. I'm not going to hurt you, I promise you that. So since you don't want to tell me anything about you, I'll tell you things about me." He smiled. "Im Liam Payne, as you know. I like animals, love them actually. I'm a really chill guy, but I'm responsible. I like having fun, you name it, going bungee jumping, sky diving, swimming with sharks, you name it, I love being adventurous." I smiled.

"I've always wanted to swim with sharks." He smiled.

"Really? I think it's one of the best adrenaline rush you'll ever be in." I smiled.

"Have you ever done it?" He shook his head.

"Everytime I mention it to one of the boys they think I'm completely insane." I giggled.

"Yeah, when I told my parents they thought I was completely out of my head." He chuckled.

"It's okay though, I've found you, we can go together." His perfect teeth flashed me.

"Yeah, maybe." I smiled. I was doing this, I was trusting him, without even noticing it. "I uh, I have to go." I lied. "Photo shoot." I nodded.

"Oh, I could give you a rid-" I shook my head.

"No, that's fine, goodbye Liam." I walked away.
