Katie's POV

It was the 26th of December.

Boxing day.

I use to love the day back in New Zealand, Shopping for hours and getting ready for my birthday that was the next day but today hasn't really been that much fun.

It seemed as if everyone had enough of each other as a big family group yesterday on Christmas, because today was very divided. Michael and his boys were hanging out together, Zayn and Niall went to visit their families and Harry, Louis and Liam were all drinking together in the lounge.

And I was in my room.

Alone.

I seriously can't believe I've spent most of the day alone, the day before my birthday and I feel like I have no one.

After sighing heavily and rolling away from my boring coloured wall, I looked at my bedside clock to see that it was now six o'clock.

What a wasted day.

My stomach grumbled as I suddenly remembered I haven't had any lunch today since I haven't left my room since after breakfast.

Once I had grown the courage to leave my room, I was automatically met with three very happy and loud laughing boys.

"Hey Katie! Where you been all day?" Harry asked as he jumped up and gave me a huge hug.

It was weird seeing them so happy and careless.

"Alone." I pouted and Louis gasped before pulling me away from Harry and onto his lap while he was sitting on one of the large couches.

"Why kitten?" He asked as he peppered my jawline with kisses.

I'm just glad Louis is somewhat of a nice drunk.

"Because Liam said I couldn't hang out with you guys." I sulked and Louis pouted back at me in a mocking way making my face crack into a small smile.

"Sorry sunshine but it was just to keep you safe and away from all the alcohol." Liam stated, his voice didn't slur at all like Harry and Louis' did making him easier to understand.

Liam has been very strict about alcohol around me all today and yesterday, making sure not a drop went near my mouth.

He said that being accidentally stoned on Christmas was enough drugs and apparently that included alcohol.

What he does know is that I've been drunk before, just not since being in London.

"Well how about some dinner?" Harry suggested and I instantly perked up as I nodded and jumped from Louis' lap to follow Harry into the kitchen.

"Eleanor!" Harry screamed at the top of his lungs making me roll my eyes and climb onto one of the stools at the island in the middle of the kitchen.

She walked into the kitchen while rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and Louis and Liam followed suit after as we were the only people in the house at the moment.

"Let me guess, princess Katie is hungry." She snapped obviously not happy that she had been woken up.

"Oh shut up and make us all some dinner." Louis replied and he slightly stumbled his way over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind as I looked down sad because of Eleanor's remark.

She makes it out like I'm the bitch in this situation.

It went awkwardly silent as Harry and Liam both stood in the kitchen trying to hold a conversation while El cooked quietly yet very grumpily. And me and Louis sat at the island, but he turned me to face him this time as he softly rubbed my nose with his and I did my best to hold in my small giggles.

A scoff was heard making Louis look up to see Eleanor watching us and the other two boys looking around and trying to act like they weren't apart of this.

"Is something wrong?" Louis asked and I let my arms fall from around his neck since I could tell he was getting mad.

"Yeah something is wrong! It is so disgusting to see the second biggest criminal in this house acting like a love struck teenager over a little girl who in the end is probably going to choose Michael tomorrow!"

My eyes widened at the same time as all the boys did, that was un-expected.

"You're wrong." I boldly whispered and everyone's heads snapped to me.

I looked down and twisted the key Louis had given me for Christmas around its chain.

"I'm choosing Louis tomorrow." I whispered slightly less confident without taking my eyes off the key once.

When the air around me continued to stay silent, I finally looked up to see Louis with a huge grin on his face.

Before I had the chance to say anything else, Louis stepped forward again so he was standing in between my legs and pulled me in for a deep and passionate kiss.

Once the initial moment was over, Louis told me to wrap my legs around his waist which I did without any hesitation and he walked us up to the third floor where his bedroom was.

"I can't believe you actually stood up to Eleanor!" Louis cheered once we were safely in his room.

I giggled as he placed me onto his bed and flopped down next to me.

There wasn't many times that I've actually been in Louis' room.

Maybe like three all together but now I have my own key.

"Can I sleep with you tonight? I always use to have a sleep over with friends the night before my birthday."

He smiled down at me in an adoring way before gently gripping my hand.

"Of course you can kitten."

Louis kissed the back of my hand softly before letting it go and walking over to his dresser where he pulled out a large sweater.

"Put this on kitten, I don't want you getting too cold tonight."

I nodded and kneeled on the edge of the bed, he walked over to me and told me to lift my arms up and I did quietly so he could place the large sweater over my Nirvana shirt that he had given me yesterday, the thick material stopped mid thigh on me so it completely covered my pajama shorts I was wearing but strangely, I didn't seem to mind.

Before I could move away from the edge of the bed where I was still kneeling, Louis wrapped one arm around my waist and the other traced over my bottom lip as he looked down at me in what seemed like deep thought.

"Don't grow up too much tomorrow okay?" He paused to place a soft kiss on my lips before moving his lips next to my ear.

"Because you're still my baby girl."

Sorry it took so long! This was kind of a filler and there's gonna be a dramatic moment next chapter! xx
