Chapter 4
It was hard to sleep that night. I kept tossing and turning, it was hard to sleep knowing that I had a fight with Liam. We never fought, so it hurt a lot more when we did. The longest we’ve gone with out talking is one fully day and even that was difficult for me. I should call and apologize for acting like a bitch, but I had a reason to be didn't I? His girlfriend is the problem here, everything was fine before Sophia came into the picture. I just wish he could see how fake she was. I hear my phone buzzing so I quietly got out of bed so I didn't wake Harry. Poor thing, he needed sleep. I know he was exhausted from the tour, and he didn't get much sleep the first two nights he was home. I checked my phone to see that Rebecca had texted me. Perfect timing honestly, I had been meaning to text her.
From: Rebecca Phillips: Hey bitch, did you forget about me!? :)
Sent: Geez! Do you always have to use such vulgar language?
From: Rebecca Phillips: Are you kidding me? I get it from you!
Sent: Hehe you do dont ya? ;)
From: Rebecca Phillips: Let’s hang out today.
Sent: I was just about to ask you that. Do you wanna get lunch? I have some things to talk to you about.
From: Rebecca Phillips: Well shit. This sounds serious. How does 1 o’clock sound? Usual spot?
Sent: Perfect! See ya in a few! Love ya.
From: Rebecca Phillips: Bye slut see ya soon!
Oh that girl really did get her language from me. Rebecca and I met in school as well. Well actually I met her at a party, she was puking her guts out and I held her hair back as she threw up. And we’ve pretty much been friends ever since. She is one of the only people I can honestly trust with anything besides Liam. Its always a good time whenever Rebecca was around, she gets along with all the boys as well. I decided to make Harry eggs and bacon. It was already almost 11 so it would be brunch. I haven’t cooked for him once since he has been home, so I figured he deserved it. I grabbed the eggs and bacon out of the fridge and began frying the bacon as I heard Harry open the fridge. He closed it and walked up behind me wrapping his arms around me.
“Why didn't you wake me up babe?”
“I wanted to let you sleep in. You’ve hardly had any sleep since you got home.”
“Yeah no thanks to you.” He said chuckling as he kissed my neck. “It smells good babe, are you not eating?”
“No I’m going to meet Rebecca for lunch it a little bit.” I served Harry his plate of food and filled up a glass of grape juice for him. He began eating right away, not speaking at all. He must have been really hungry.
“What time are you going to be home Gabby?”
“Um not sure. Why?”
“I’m going to hang out with Louis. Do some song writing and play some Fifa. Ya know guy stuff. So I might not be home when you get back.” He said chuckling
“Babe I’m starting to think you like Louis more than me!” I said jokingly. Louis and Harry were seriously in the biggest bromance i’ve ever seen
“Of course not baby.” He said smiling “But we have our trip coming up soon and you and I are going to spending lots of time together.” He said hugging me and snuggling his head into my neck.
“I’m looking forward to that” I said kissing his cheek. “I’m going to take a shower now.”
“Can I join?” he said smirking.
“If I let you shower with me then we really wont leave the house today, so not this time Styles.”
“Aww man!”
“Another time I promise babe.”
My shower felt amazing. I was lost in thought the whole time, still debating if I should call Liam or not. I’m gonna call him when I get home, I mentally told myself. I finished getting ready and took one last look at myself in the mirror. I noticed it was 12:30 already, so I needed to get a move on because I hated being late.
“Bye babe!” I said kissing Harry on the cheek. “ I love you!”
“Love you too beautiful. Have fun!”
“I will!”
I got to the restaurant with five minutes to spare to see Rebecca already sitting down. That girl was way more punctual than me. “If you're not 15 minutes early, you're late” she would always say. I hated being late but I was not that good with time.
“Hey gorgeous! I’ve missed you!” She pulled me into a hug and we sat down.
“I missed you too! How’ve you been?”
“Good really good! Now lets eat I’m starving.” We both order our favorite grilled chicken salad and had some small talk before I finally brought up the Niall subject.
“Hey Rebecca, what do you think of Niall.?
“Um he is nice. Why?”
“Well have you ever thought about going out with him to like dinner or something?”
“No, why?”
“A little birdy may or may have told me Niall has a small crush on someone named Rebecca Phillips.”
“What!” She screamed so loud I actually jumped a little.
“Gosh did you have to be so loud!”
“He likes me really?”
“Yes he told me! You should go for it Rebecca! Niall is such a gentleman and he is so sweet. Plus he is really fit.”
“You think so? You think I’m pretty enough for him?”
“Are you kidding me of course! You're gorgeous!” She nodded her head at me smiling. “So I can set it up then?” She nodded her head once again. We started eating and I pulled my phone out to text Niall.
Sent: You're in ;)
From: Niall Horan: Score!
Sent: How does dinner and movie tomorrow at 7 sound?
From: Niall Horan: Thats perfect! Great I’m actually nervous now, I didn't think i’d get this far.
Sent: Don’t be nervous. Rebecca likes you too.
From: Niall Horan: Really?!
Sent: You'll have to wait and see my lucky charm :)
From: Niall Horan: Aw come on Gabby!
Sent: Not telling!
I put my phone up so I could bring up the California trip.
“So Liam invited us all over yesterday and told us about a trip to California he had been planning. He said I could invited a friend so do you want to go?”
“Are you kidding me? Fuck yes I want to go!”
“Language! There are children around!”
“Sorry I’m just so excited! When do we leave?”
“Two weeks.”
“Oh my gosh I’m so excited!!”
“Me too! I cant wait I need a trip to get away for a while.”
“I have so much to do! We need to go shopping!”
“Don't worry we have time.”
“Is Sophia going?” Great I actually forgot about that until now.
“Uh ,yes unfortunately.”
“Don’t worry we will still have a good time!”
“I sure hope so.”
With that we finished up lunch and I headed home. I decided to take a nap and that nap turned into a four hour slumber. Harry woke me up when he came back home from Louis’s place. I heard the door slam and I got up to check my phone I had 3 missed calls and a text message all from Liam.
From: Liam Payne: I’m sorry Gabriella :(
Sent: I’m sorry too Liam. He responded almost immediately.
From: Liam Payne: It was my fault. I shouldn't have yelled at you. Love you…
Sent: Love you too :)
I put my phone down and walked into the living room to see Harry watching TV. I sat on the couch and put my head in his lap. He began playing with my hair. I loved when he did that.
“Did you have fun at Louis’s babe?”
“Yeah I did. Did you have a good lunch?”
“Yeah I did. I set Niall and Rebecca up on a date.”
“Really?” He said smirking
“Yup. Both of those idiots like each other but are too scared to actually say anything.” I said laughing. “What are you watching?”
“I have no idea. Put a movie on babe.”
