Liam’s P.O.V

I took a deep breathe before I knocked on the door. This was one conversation I wasn't looking to having mainly because Sophia is probably going to slap me around a bunch of times. But I had to be a man and take it. She took forever to open the door as well, not that I was complaining. The less time I had to be here with her the better.

“Liam!” She squealed and jump up and down pulling me into a hug. She tried to kiss my lips but I moved my face enough so she kissed my cheek instead. I had no desire to kiss her. She ignored my actions and still continued to hug me.

“Hey Sophia.” I said with no enthusiasm what so ever. I just want to get this over with.

“I’ve missed you so much! How was visiting home?” How did she know I didn't tell her anything. I gave her a confused look. “There were pictures of you all over the internet.”

“Oh yeah it was very nice. I missed my family.” She nodded and a small smirk appeared on her face.

“Well you know what I missed?” She grabbed my collar and pulled me tried pressing her lips to mine. I pushed her back slightly before she was able to kiss me.

“Sophia what are you doing?”

“Liam I’m trying to be with you. Do you know how longs its been since we’ve had sex?”

“Listen I came to tell you about something.”

“Before you say what I think you're going to say let me talk.” I nodded and gave her the okay to say what she had to say before I delivered the news “Liam I know I haven't been the best girlfriend. I promise that I’m going to change and I’m really going to try. You hanging out with Gabby isn't a problem, I’ll really try and get to know her and be nice. The boys also I know I haven't been the most friendly. But its all going to be different now.”

“Sophia you don’t have to do that.”

“No really I want to. I think I owe that much to you. You’ve honestly been the best boyfriend I’ver ever had and I don't want to lose you Liam.” She tried to kiss me again but I got up off the couch. “What’s wrong?”

“Sophia I really appreciate what you’re trying to do but you don't have to do any of that.”

“Liam I just told you I wanted to.”
“No Sophia I don’t think you’re understanding! It doesn't matter what you do I’m still breaking up with you!” She got off the couch and tried to hug me.

“No Liam. We don’t have to break up, we can get through this babe.”

“Sophia yeah we really do have to break up.” I was getting frustrated, its like she wasn't getting the picture and I couldn't just get her to understand.

“Why don’t you want to make this work?”

“Because I love someone else Sophia!” She back away from me.

“Is it Gabriella?” I nodded and her eyes started to feel with tears.

“I fucking knew it! You asshole! Were you just dragging me along because you could have her?”

“She loves me too Sophia. She told me and we have been together for a sometime now. I just didn't know when the right time was to tell you.” She got even angrier and began pacing.

“She has a boyfriend!”

“She broke up with Harry” I sighed. “There’s one more thing. Gabriella is pregnant, with my child.” She walked up to me and slapped the absolute fuck out of me. This is what I deserved. I know this isn't the easiest situation for someone to handle.

“How do you even know the baby’s yours?!”

“Because I was the only person she slept with without protection Sophia! I know this baby is mine!” She started to cry harder now.

“When did it happen? How far along is she?”

“It happened in California, that night we got into a fight. And she’s almost four months.”

“Four months? You’ve been keeping this from me for that long Liam? I thought you loved me!”

“I do love you, just not romantically. Sophia I’m so sorry but I love Gabriella.”

“You wouldn't even be with her if she wasn't pregnant!”

“Thats not true! I knew I wanted to be with her ever since California! Sophia I love Gabby more than I ever loved you and I always will. Nothing you can say or do will ever change that. I want to be with her and only her for the rest of my life. I don’t want anyone else.” She slapped me again and some how it was even harder than the first one.

“Get out!” She yelled at me and I didn't even try to argue with her. As I was walking out the door she mumbled something and I didn't quite hear it.

“What?”

“I said tell Gabby to watch her back. Nobody screws me over and gets away with it Liam.”

“Don’t you even think about coming anywhere near Gabriella or my baby, Sophia. If I see or find out you are anywhere near them, I’ll bring the authorities into it.”

“Fuck you Liam.” That was the last thing she said to me before slammed the door in my face. I was so angry, I needed to hit something. How fucking dare she threaten my baby and my girlfriend. If she did anything to her or my baby I would lose it. I of course couldn't do anything because she’s woman but that would not stop me from calling the police and putting a restraining order on her if I had to. If anything happened to them under my watch I would never forgive myself.

I looked at my watch and I was already late for Gabriella’s doctors appointment. Fuck, I didn't plan to be fighting with Sophia for that long. As soon as I got on the road I started speeding. I needed to get to this appointment. I couldn't miss another one. As soon as I arrived I burst threw the doors to the doctors office.

“I’m here for my girlfriends ultrasound!” I was out of breathe from running so much.

“Name?”

“Carter. Gabriella Carter.”

“She’s in room 28.”

“Thank you!” I ran and as soon as I saw the room I ran inside. “Did I miss it! Am I late?” Gabriella giggled at me.

“No babe you’re just in time actually.” I sighed in relief and I sat down in the chair next to her. I grabbed her hand and kissed it. I didn't want to let go of her hand.

“Is this the father?” The doctor asked.

“Yeah I am.” I said proudly

“Well I have no doubt this will be one good looking baby. They will definitely have good genetics on their side.” I blushed slightly and so did Gabby.

The nurse put some type of gel on Gabby's bump and it must have been cold because she jumped and squeezed my hand harder. She smiled at me and I smiled back. She had on no makeup and her hair was in its natural waves. She definitely had that pregnancy glow and she looked so beautiful. It was silent the suddenly I heard my baby’s heart beat feel the room and I looked at the monitor and I saw my baby on the screen. Tears immediately filled my eyes, I can’t believe I was looking at my baby. The baby Gabby and I made.

“Are you crying Liam?” Gabby asked.

“Uh yeah, I just cant believe it. Thats my baby.” I kissed her hand again and then wiped my eyes.

“Don’t worry I cried last time also.” That made me chuckle but it didn't stop the tears.

“By the looks of it, you’re baby is going perfectly fine. The baby is growing perfectly and has all the right parts. Ten fingers and Ten toes.” Gabby and I both smiled at each other. I leaned over and kissed her I couldn't hold in my affection for her anymore. “Since you're four months along, we are able to tell you the sex of the baby? Do you want to know the sex?”

Gabby and I looked at each other again.

“Do you want to?” Gabriella asked me

“Whatever you want baby. I’ll be fine with knowing and I’ll be fine with waiting.”

“I cant wait any longer!” The doctor and I both chuckled. The doctor looked on the monitor probably trying to get the baby in the right position.

“Congratulations Mr and Mrs. Payne. You will be having a baby girl.” I didn't even bother correcting her, I have no doubt Gabby will be my wife.

“Oh a girl!” Gabby shouted. A baby girl, I was going to have a daughter. A little baby girl that I would have to protect.

“A girl.” I whispered.

“Are you happy?” Gabby asked me.

“Are you kidding? I’m more than happy, I feel like the luckiest man in the world. I’ll have two beautiful girls now.”

"Liam I'm so happy."

“I love you and our baby girl so much Gabby. I couldn't be happier.”

“We love you too Liam.”

Nothing could ruin this moment. I was going to be a father to a baby girl soon and I couldn't be happier. I can’t wait to tell everyone about my daughter, and I can’t wait to meet her. My baby girl and Gabby were the most important in my life and nobody could ever change that. I felt a surge of happiness within me an I wouldn’t let anything change that.
