Story of Our Lives

"Lissi you look fabulous today! Excited for your first photo shoot?" The photographer asks. I nod. "Oh come on! Act more excited than that. It's the magazine cover for the article about the new movie your starring in! You're a hit! Get pumped!" I put on a smile and do as he says. After an hour of shooting and getting all the makeup off, I decide to walk down the road to the best (at least it is in my opinion) coffee shop in London.
Of course, I don't drink coffee, I only go for the smoothies.
I hear screaming and cameras flashing and running footsteps but I ignore it. It doesn't work. I run into the cafe and make sure there's someone standing by the door to block them off.
I walk calmly up to the counter, still catching my breath. "One strawberry banana smoothie please." The lady nods and asks my name. I consider what I should tell her. If there's people who don't recognize me, she'll call my name and I'll be mobbed. Again. But it's too late. "Wait a minute, I know who you are. You're Elizabeth Lawson, the main role in that new movie, what's it call-" I shush her. She stops talking and writes my name down. I find a small two person table off in the far corner and wait for a few minutes. The crowd outside starts to diminish.
"Elizabeth Lawson." The girl says. Dozens of heads look up. I sigh and walk slowly up to the counter, completely avoiding eye contact. I sit back down and scroll through my Instagram.
"You're the new actress on the town aren't you?" A man with a deep British accent says. I don't look up, pretending not to hear him. "I'm sorry, if I'm bugging you." He sits down. "But I'm really excited to see the new movie you're in." I still don't look up. "I'm Harry Styles." My head snaps up. "Ah, you've heard of me." He smiles.
"Of course. You're all over any magazine and social media thing out there these days. I'm a huge fan." I say, suddenly sitting up. I drop my phone and bend down to get it, only for our hands to touch. I look up and he's smiling at me.
"You know, I find you very, very beautiful Miss Lawson. Mind if I asked you out to a movie tonight?" He asks, smiling at me, dimples clearly showing.
"Oh, um, sure. Yeah that'd be great." I manage to get out. Suddenly, I remember I have an interview to be at in ten minutes. "I'm sorry, but I have an interview. I'm running late. I'll catch you later." I run out the door. I'm so glad this place is only a block away. I just reach the building when I hear someone calling my name. I can't tell who it is, but I figure it's paparazzi and run inside.

I yell her name over and over as she seems to run away from me. She's so beautiful and I can't get over her cute, adorable, shyness. She said she'd go to the movies with me tonight, but I never got the chance to say a time or where or anything. I didn't even get her number. At the last second, I see which building she walks in to. Guess I'll just have to wait until her interview is over then.
