Just a Kiss

Leighton’s P.O.V.
I open my eyes to an ocean view. My feet are covered in sand. The waves lap against the shore. Then I see him. Our hands are intertwined. His beautiful, blue eyes stare into mine. He whispers my name “Leighton.”
“Leighton wake up!!” yells my younger sister in my ear.
“Oh my God Kara!! You just ruined the best dream ever!!” I screamed back at her.
I guess I should introduce myself. I’m Leighton Skye Foster. I am an average 17 year old girl who lives in California along with her two average parents and her annoying younger sister.
“Well sorry, but mom told me to wake you up. Dad left for a business trip and she left for the office and YOU have to take me to soccer practice in two hours and I know how long it takes you to get ready.”Kara smugly informs me.
“It’s not like I have anybody to impress dipwad I could’ve slept for another good hour but now I’m up so I may as well get ready maybe I’ll see if Addison wants to go to the mall!” I reply madly as I stumble out of bed to turn on the shower.
As I wait for the shower to heat up I put my I-phone on my I-home and put all the One Direction songs on shuffle. Oh yeah did I forget to mention I’m a huge fangirl when it comes to One Direction. I hop into the shower as Kiss You comes on and I pick up my shampoo bottle and begin to use it as a microphone singing loudly along with the song. As it gets to Niall’s part where he does the “chinny chin chin” part I mimic his movements from the music video and giggle to myself. Niall, him from my dream. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to meet him in real life. Would I be, calm like in my dream? Or would I freak him out with my crying and fangirling? I hope it’s the former.
I climb out of the shower, wrap my towel around my body, and walk back to my room to find a mall-worthy outfit. As I am scanning my closet I check my phone and see I have a message from Addison.
Addison: Hey girl!! You want to meet up at the mall today and do some shopping?!
Me: I was just about to ask you that! I guess great minds think alike haha
Addison: Awesome!! How is 1 pm?
Me: Perfect see you then!
I set my phone on my bed and get back to pulling together a perfect outfit. I pull together this http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=125564377 real fast then set to work on my long blonde hair. First I comb out all the tangles and part it exactly where I like it to be. Then, I pull out my royal blue blow dryer and set to drying it into the soft natural waves that my falls into. When it’s all the way dry I pull out my make-up bag quickly checking the time. I have thirty minutes until I have to leave I can do this. First I pull out my primer and put a little all over my face. Then I take out my foundation and stippling brush and give myself a natural looking coverage. Next I set to my eyes doing my eye liner expertly as well as my eye shadow. I add a couple swipes of mascara and some lip gloss onto my lips. As soon as I brush on some bronzer and blush I’m walking out of my room wallet and phone in hand, shoes on.
“Kara, are you ready to go?” I yell through the house as I grab my keys off the kitchen counter as well as a note from mom with money attached to it saying that Kara is going home with a friend and the money is for me to treat myself to lunch. Thanks mom! As I climb in the car I turn to Kara.
“You are going home with Sarah today remember?”
“Gosh Leighton I know!! I’m not dumb!!”
“Okay! Okay! I was just checking, and remember if you need anything you can always call me since mom is at the office and dad is out of town.”
“Okay Leighton!! Can we go already!?”
“Okay Miss sassy pants.” I reply laughing to myself remembering when I was her age as I put the car into reverse to pull out of our driveway.
After I dropped Kara off at soccer practice I made my way to the local mall to meet my best friend Addison Nicole Watson. She is just as much of a fangirl as me with One Direction except she is in love with Liam Payne and I am in love with Niall Horan. I made it to the mall first so I decided to grab something from Starbucks since I didn’t have time for any breakfast. I ordered my usual a carmel macchiato with lemon pound cake. YUM! I sat in the chairs by Starbucks and texted Addison that I’d be there waiting for her. While I waited for her to show up I decided to get onto tumblr. I scrolled through my dashboard looking at pictures of the boys in concert on their Where We Are Tour. I can’t wait to see them in person when they come here. It's only like a week away now. All of a sudden I feel hands slip over my eyes.
“Guess who” says an obviously girl trying to sound manly voice
“Hmm I don’t know. Is it the man of my dreams?”
“Haha you wish!” replied Addison as she winked at me and stole a piece of my lemon pound cake.
“Hey! That’s my breakfast!!”
“Well you snooze you lose!!” she smiles at me as she drags me out of my chair. “Now, c’mon we have some shopping to do!”
