Katie’s POV

Niall wasn’t too happy when he found out about Jason being my ex, but he didn’t stay mad at me for long. That was of course until he found out about the kiss. (“Why the hell are you so mad?” “We agreed! Mine and mine alone!” “He kissed me! I pushed him off! Damn, calm down!”) Then again, he wasn’t too mad for long after that either. It was like he couldn’t stay mad at me…

I finished looking over my Maths homework to make sure I didn’t leave anything out so I didn’t have homework when I went home for the weekend. I nearly jumped when my phone buzzed, breaking the silence of the room.

Niall: How about you meet me at the lake tomorrow after classes, yeah?

Katie: Isn’t it a bit cold to go swimming?

Niall: Who said anything about swimming? Besides, the water will get warmer with what we’ll be up to ;)

I bit my bottom lip as I read his text.

Katie: Hmm… we’ll see ;)

I looked up as Autumn walked into the room and tossed her bag on her bed. “What’s up, chicken butt?” I asked and put away my finished homework.

“Nothing.” She sighed. “How does lunch sound?”

“Great! I’m starving.” I said and grabbed my purse.

“So doctor Dickerson is piling homework on us, it’s ridiculous.” Autumn complained as we ate our Chinese lunch.

“Tell me about it! Doctor Ward hates us, I swear. I’ve never read so much damn Shakespeare in my life!”

“I thought you loved Shakespeare?”

“I thought I did too…” I grumbled and finished up before opening my fortune cookie.

Things are not always what they seem to be on the surface. Feelings you never thought possible are headed your way.

I shrugged and put the fortune away before eating my cookie. “So tomorrow after classes I’m going to go see a movie while Harry’s out with his friends. Wanna go?” Autumn asked as she grabbed her tray.

“I can’t… I have plans.” I said apologetically.

“With Niall?” She asked.

“We’re going to the lake.” I shrugged, feeling a slight blush creep in.

“So he’s taking you on a date?”

“Nah.”

“Oh.”

“Yeah.”

“Anyway… lunch on Saturday?”

“I’m going home for the weekend.” I sighed. “You’re more than welcome to come with me!”

“No thanks. I’ll hang out with Harry here.” She shrugged.

“All right… I’m sorry.” I said and linked arms with her.

“No, no. Don’t worry about it, it’s totally cool.” She answered honestly. I smiled and bumped her with my hip as we walked back to our dorms.

The next day I practically ran back to my dorms after classes. I changed into my bathing suit (throwing my clothes back on over it), grabbed a towel and my keys and headed out the door. I was caught by surprise when I saw Niall waiting for me downstairs by his truck. “Let’s go.” He jerked his head towards his car before we piled in.

The ride to the lake was silent, but Niall’s hand kept slipping up my thigh. I smacked it away and kept looking out the window, waiting to arrive. As soon as we were at the lake, I jumped out of Niall’s truck and stripped down to my bathing suit. I could feel Niall’s eyes on me as I sat on the ground by the lake, dipping my toes in the water every so often. It was freezing. Soon Niall sat down behind me, pulling me up between his legs. I rested my back against his torso and ran my fingers up and down his legs, lightly grazing my fingernails across them.

Niall moved us forward so we were now chest deep in the water. “I fucking hate you.” I said, my teeth chattering.

“You’ll get used to the water, princess.” He whispered in my ear before biting down on my ear lobe. I bit my bottom lip as he brought his hand out of the water and moved my hair to one side. His lips found my sweet spot and I let out a soft moan as his hand travelled down the front of my body. His hand slipped into my swimsuit bottoms and he rubbed slow circles on my clit. I rested my head back against his shoulder, my breathing slowly becoming uneven. Niall gently bit down on my neck, once again leaving his mark on me. I was just thankful they were always where my hair could hide them.

Niall swiftly slipped two fingers in me and I gasped, letting out a moan in his ear. “Oh my God, Niall.” I panted as he moved his fingers faster and faster. The cold water made the sensation so much better, and I was surprised I wasn’t screaming at this point. Niall connected his lips to mine as he swiftly moved his fingers. I gripped onto his legs as I felt myself grow closer to my edge. “Shit,” I leaned my head back on his shoulder as I reached my high, grinding against Niall slowly.

“My turn,” Niall smirked. I turned to face him before I straddled his waist. Somehow Niall had already gotten his swimming trunks off and he was ready. Niall pulled off my bottoms and lowered me onto him, letting out a long throaty moan. “Shit.” He grunted, pulling me off his lap and handing me my bottoms.

“What?” I asked. I looked behind me as I slipped my bottoms on. I saw a man pushing a boar into the lake (probably to go fishing) with his son’s help. I groaned as Niall pulled his swim trunks on.

“We’ll do this again when there’s no one here.” He promised and helped me out of the lake and handing me my towel. We hopped back into his truck after we were dressed and headed back to campus.

“Autumn, I’m back!” I yelled and walked into the room. “Oh my God!” I screamed and covered my eyes when I saw my best friend and her boyfriend doing the deed right there on her bed. I felt my way over to my desk where my bags were waiting for me to take home for the weekend. “I’ll see you Sunday…” I coughed awkwardly, hand still over my eyes as I left the room. “I’m going to need holy water…” I shuttered as Niall chuckled.

“Oh come on. It’s not like it’s nothing you’ve never seen before.”

“I’ve never seen my best friend and her boyfriend having sex before!”

“Yeah, but you’ve seen naked people before… they’ve just been put together.” Niall shrugged and took my bag from me.

“Thanks,” I said as we made our way down to my car. “I’ll see ya Sunday.” I said as he threw my bag into the trunk of my car.

“See ya Sunday.” He smiled and waved me off.

“Katie!” My mum yelled when I got out of the car. “How are your grades?”

“Missed you too, mum.” I sighed and took my bags up to my room. “My grades are fine. No C’s.” I crossed my heart. How I managed to keep my average up with Niall always having a party and inviting me to stay over was beyond my knowledge.

“Soup for dinner!” My mum called as she went down the stairs.

“Katie!” I looked out and saw my baby cousin Brystol running up the stairs to me.

“Brystol!” I yelled and picked him up. “Oh my goodness you’ve gotten so big!” I laughed as he climbed up onto my shoulders. “How old are you now?”

“You know I’m four, Katie! You asked me that last time!” Brystol laughed and grabbed onto my neck for support as I walked down the stairs.

“Did I? Huh, I must be getting old, then.” I laughed as we marched around the living room. Even after dinner we played with his toy dinosaurs until I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. “Alright, Brystol. Katie’s gotta go to bed.” I yawned.

“Okay, Katie.” I stood up, only to be practically thrown back down onto the couch as Brystol hugged my legs. “I love you.”

“I love you too, little man.” I smiled and made my way up the stairs. It was going to be nice to have a stress-free weekend.
