No one really knew about Niall and I, which was great, though Autumn wasn’t too happy about it when she found out. She was more worried about Niall hurting me (“He can’t really hurt me if there aren’t feeling involved”) than anything. By this point in the semester, everyone knew me as ‘the frat girl’, which wasn’t all that bad, I suppose. It was better than being known as a slut. They only knew that I was constantly at the frat house, and at almost every party. Nobody knew about what went on behind closed bedroom doors. They knew Niall got laid, but he never revealed names since my little episode.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy every second of being the girl Niall came to for the night.

“Morning, Katie.” Niall yawned one morning as I rolled out of bed.

“Morning.” I stretched and reached down for my clothes.

“Come on, stay here for the day.” Niall begged and grabbed my waist, pulling me closer to him.

“Ni…” I giggled and stood up.

“Come on, it’s Saturday. There’s nothing to do… just stay one day.” I sighed and looked over at him. “Please?” He poked his bottom lip out.

“Fine…” I gave in and rolled back into the warmth of the blankets. This was different. Usually when I woke up, we ate breakfast at the student center and went our own ways. I decided to shrug off his unusual behavior, though.

Niall’s POV

“I can’t do this tomorrow.” Katie said as we played video games all day in bed, never bothering to shower or change out of our pajamas.

“How come?” I asked and wildly pressed the ‘x’ button.

“I’ve got plans.” She shrugged and dodged my attack.

“What are you doing? Maybe I could join you.” I shrugged.

“Actually, I’ve got kind of a date thing.” She said and I felt something rush through me.

“A date?” She nodded and shot my character a few times. “I, uh, thought we agreed that you were mine and mine alone.” I said and nearly killed her character.

“Yeah, for sex. We never said anything about dates.” Katie shrugged. “Besides, it’s not really a date. It’s more of old friends from high school hanging out. Yes! I won!” She threw her fists in the air in victory. I congratulated her and put the game system away to order lunch.

As we ate lunch, I was internally arguing with myself. I didn’t know why I was so angry about Katie going out with this douche she calls an ‘old friend’. I was very possessive of Katie, ever since she agreed to be my ‘fuck buddy’, I didn’t want anyone else touching her like I do. She was mine, and no one else’s.

Though why I was so possessive never made any sense to me. I always felt the need to defend her from wandering eyes or anything really… “So next weekend the frat’s having a party.” I casually brought up.

“I can’t make it.” She sighed. “I’m going home for the weekend.”

“Home?”

“Yeah, that place where my parents live and like to visit on occasion.” She laughed. “They’ve been begging me to come home for a weekend, and I thought it would be a good stress reliever seeing as midterms are about to start.” Katie shrugged and checked her phone. “Autumn wants to meet me.” She jumped up and gathered her overnight things. “I’ll see you later, yeah?” She said as she threw her hair up into a ponytail before running out the door.

Katie’s POV

“Hey! Sorry I’m late.” I apologized to Autumn when I met her for lunch.

“You were with Niall again, weren’t you?” Autumn accused automatically. I rolled my eyes and nodded. “I know you hate hearing this as much I hate saying it, but he’s no good for you, Katie. One day he’s gonna hurt you.”

“Autumn, he can’t hurt me if I don’t have feelings for him.”

“All he wants is—“

“Do you really think all we do is have sex while I’m there?” I asked and folded my arms. She looked down at her plate. “There are days when we just hang out, you know. We’re really good friends, Autumn, and we genuinely enjoy hanging out, too. It’s not just sex.” Autumn didn’t say anything. “I know you’re just looking out for me, but—“

“Do you know how many girls other than you he’s hooked up with in this past week, Katie?”

“It’s none of my business.”

“Three. Three other girls in a week.” I shrugged. It didn’t bother me. It shouldn’t. “Why are you doing this?”

“Because it makes me feel good that someone wants me!” I yelled before walking out the door. My blood was boiling. Nobody understood what it was like for Niall and I. It was just a casual thing. They didn’t know about us. Sure Niall slept with other girls, but I was the girl he always came to, and I loved that. I went back to Niall’s room and knocked on the door, this time I was going to him.

“Back so soon, love?” He smirked. I pushed him into the room and shut and locked the door behind me. “Now?” He asked. I nodded and practically pounced on him. Our clothes were off in record time and I was on his bed within a minute. “Why now?” He asked as he sucked on my neck, leaving his small mark on me.

“Why not now?” I moaned as his lips travelled down my body and stopping to kiss each breast gently. His lips came up to my mouth and I tangled my fingers in his hair just before he discreetly slipped a finger into me. I moaned as he kissed me harder and pumped his finger in and out of me. I bit down on his bottom lip and bucked my hips forwards, wanting more, and he easily gave me what I wanted. He slipped another finger in me and moved faster, moving his lips to my collar bone where he was leaving his mark once more. That seemed to be his favorite place on me. I had bite marks and cheeky bruises aligning both.

With no warning, Niall slipped himself into me and my nails dug into his back. He let out a long moan as he began to move in and out of me. “I fucking love when you do that.” He grunted as my nails scraped down his back. I rolled us over so I was on top for the first time, receiving a shocked look from him. I smirked and lowered myself completely. I placed my palms on Niall’s chest to steady myself as he grabbed my hips and began to move me back and forth, slowly helping me ride him.

“Oh my God,” I whimpered and felt my body giving in. Niall flipped us over again and rammed into me, causing me to nearly scream. “Shit.” I hissed and ran my nails down his torso. Niall grabbed my legs and wrapped them around his waist, allowing him all new access to the points that had me shaking. “I’m so close.” I barely got out before I felt the knot in my stomach go away, and I was in pure ecstasy.

“Fuck,” Niall hissed as he moved faster, small beads of sweat forming along his forehead as he reached his high. Niall collapsed on top of me and pulled out, rolling off of me and breathing unevenly. “So what was that all about?” He asked and propped himself up on his elbow. I shrugged and pulled his duvet blanket over me. “Now I know that’s a lie.”

“I was angry at someone and wanted to prove a point… I guess it doesn’t really do anything since they weren’t here to see…” I sighed.

“Having people watch? Now that could be a fun party idea.” Niall joked. I slapped his chest, leaving a red mark. “Hey! I was joking!” Niall rubbed the sore spot on his chest.

“Why did you ask me?”

“Ask you what?”

“Ask me to be your ‘friend with benefits’.” I sighed.

“Well… you’re literally the best I’ve ever had, and I thought ‘she seemed to like it, so why not just go for it?’.”

“But you still sleep with other girls.” I pointed out.

“Well, yeah… the times you aren’t available. Trust me; all I can think about is you when I’m with anyone else.” He promised.

“So what if I want you and you’re not available?”

“I’ll always be available for you.” Niall shrugged. “You’re my favorite girl.” I smiled at his words. I know he only meant in one way, but it was nice being his favorite girl. It made me feel almost special. I kissed Niall’s cheek and rolled out of bed to gather my clothes and get dressed.

“I’ve gotta go, but I’ll see you Monday in class.” I smiled and walked out of the room, feeling his eyes watch me as I left.
