Evangeline POV

The clanging of the dinner bell brought Calum, Louis and I racing down the stairs. Heart pounding I slam my palm into the white wooden double door.
"I win." I yell at the boys who are tumbling down the stairs after me.
"Only cause we let you." Louis retorts sticking his tongue out at me.
I punch him in the shoulder and he rubs his arm pouting.
"Awww did the baby get hurt?" I coo.
Louis nods his head and I give him a side hug.
"Group hug!" Calum yells slinging his arms over Louis and I.
Get comfortable around the boys had been surprisingly easy. We had joked around and explored since Simon had made us get the chair out of the pool (Needless to say I was never letting Louis or Calum around fishing line ever again). Forgetting scheduling and all my careful time management didn't seem to be that hard after all.
The rest of the group made their way slowly around the stairs. Daphne raises her eyebrows seeing me squished between Louis and Niall.
"Get some." she mouths.
I sent her a playful glare while rolling my eyes. She went over to talk to Zayn and Cassidy leaving Liam and Dustin by themselves.
Dinner was a lot finer than I thought it would be. Every time I thought it was done another course came through the door.
"Who are you and what have you done with our Leena." Skylar shot across the table.
"What?" I ask confused
"Your clothes are wrinkled and dirty. Your hair is a mess and you look like you've just been having sex."
I gape at her in shock my cheeks going red. I raise my hands to my hair feeling the tangles and snarls in it. I turn to Calum mad.
"I asked you if my hair was okay after we finished playing around and you said it did." I pout to him.
"Playing around huh?" Harry says suggestively.
"Hide and seek." I say dismissively before going back to confronting Calum.
"I think it looks fine Van." He shrugs.
I sigh and turn back to Skylar.
"Excited to go shopping tomorrow?" I ask.
"I am I don't think Cass is." She says with a smile.
I smile broadly before delving into a conversation about where we were going the next day

I stand before the mirror smoothing down my skirt trying to make the pleats stay smoothe.
“You look fine come on.” Louis says grabbing my arm.
I barely have time to grab my purse before Louis pulls me out the door.
“I wasn’t done.” I pout. “You look fine.” Louis says blandly. I wonder what's up with him this morning.
“Good morning beautiful Evangeline.” Calum greets me with a smile and a twinkle in his eye. He holds a coffee carrier awkwardly off to the side so I give him a hug. “Good morning!”
Calum hands me a drink I twist my lips as I look at it.
“It’s hot chocolate.” Calum explains. I look at him smiling he remembered. He had offered me coffee yesterday and I had to explain awkwardly that I didn’t drink coffee.
“Thank you! So this is why you were up so early this morning.”
Calum half smiles,
“I needed coffee and I didn’t like the stuff here.”
Calum wraps his arm around my neck as we headed downstairs.
“So how was your morning?”
I shrugged.
“Louis is being moody.”
Calum gives a nod of understanding.
“He pulled me out the door before I was ready.” I complain
“You look beautiful anyway Calum whispers into my ear. I feel my cheeks heating up.
“Thank you.” I barely manage to breathe back.
Why was Calum affecting me like this? I usually had no problems talking to boys.
Seeing the other girls stops my train of thought.
Calum nervously slips his arm off of my shoulders and I feel cold where he removed his warmth. I walk down the stairs and give the girls hugs. “Did you remember to wear a sleeveless bra so you can try on everything?” I whisper into Cassidy’s ear.
She rolls her eyes and gives a slight nod.
I link my arms with Madison and Cassidy and head to the car.
All of the girls clamor into the back of one of the vans leaving the boys the other one.
“So spil.” I demand.
“Spil what?” Cassidy asks coyly.
“Um girl talk, the boys, duh.” I say.
“Oh um they’re okay,”
I send Cassidy a look telling her I don’t believe it’s that simple.
“Well Liam and Dustin are bloody fuckin’ annoying.” Daphne bursts out exasperated. “They are like do this and do that and I really want to tell them to go fuck themselves.”
I look at her sympathetically.
“I’m sure they’ll settle down once they get used to you.”
Daphne rolls her eyes and proceeds to look out the window.
“Sure.” she says sarcastically.
I look at Madison and she shrugs her shoulders.
“They are nice.”
I see Skylar smiling mischievously off on the side. Between Skylar and Cassidy I know that look well.
“Skylar.” I prod slightly. “Well Luke is easy to flirt with and Harry is really sweet I might have found a new partner in crime.” She says mysteriously.
Cassidy looks at her mockingly offended.
“I thought I was your partner in crime.” Skylar gives her a hug. “You will always be my partner in crime numero uno but I figured I needed an apprentice besides you will be busy with the boys.” Skylar says suggestively nudging her hip into Cassidy.
Cassidy playfully glares at her.
“Theres nothing going on.” She mumbles. I suddenly have four sets of eyes on me. “What?”
“Evangeline spill.” Daphne snorts. “You made the rest of us.” I shrug.
“It’s complicated.”
Like in a movie the girls scoot in a little more making me laugh. “Fine.” I raise my hands in defeat. “We got along really well yesterday it was really…..” I search for the word. “...nice. But when I got up this morning Louis was really moody. It was like he was PMSing except he can’t. Calum is still really sweet though he brought me hot chocolate this morning which I thought was really cute cause he remembered that I don’t drink coffee. And he’s really cute.” I felt my cheeks heat up a bit.
“Awww she’s blushing.” Madison exclaims. “You like Calum. You like Calum.” Madison says in a sing song voice.
I feel my cheeks start burning. “Shut up.” I say throwing a light slap in Madison’s direction which she dodges.
“I don’t know if I like him it’s just it’s weird when I’m around him I have a hard time keeping my train of thought.”
“You definitely like him.” Skylar announces in a matter-of-fact voice. Silently saying that arguing was pointless.
We pull to a stop signalling that we have arrived.
I raise my hands to my cheeks feeling that they were still warm.“Gosh guys now he will know something’s up.”
We pile out of the car and join the boys who have pulled up behind us.
Calum comes running over.
“Hey!” “Hi.” I say smiling. I see the other girls over his shoulder making kissy faces. I glare at them.
“What?” Calum asks. I look back at Calum’s confused face and smile. “Nothing.” I say coyly.
Calum goes to turn around but I link my arm through his instead and pull him away.
“Let’s go.” Louis walks up to us slouching with his hands in his pockets. “Can we just meet you guys at the food court?” He asks in a monotone voice.
I look at him concerned for a moment before smiling again. “Of course not silly you boys are here to carry our bags.” “Great.” I hear Louis mutter.
We pull the boys around for hours until we are pretty sure they can't carry any more bags. What originally was a wardrobe makeover for Cassidy had become a wardrobe makeover for all of us. Although I was pretty sure Cassidy was ready to kill us. We had been pushing her at Zayn and Michael all say. Having her model for them and such. Not that the girls hadn’t returned the favor and pushed me at Calum. I can’t say I mind though. The fans had been nice. We had to sign a couple of things but they pretty much let us have our fun. Louis was still mopey though.
I collapse into a chair in the foot court.
“Whew I’m pooped.” I breathe relaxing into the chair. Calum snickers beside me hearing what I’d said.
I go to punch him but exaggeratedly miss.
“So what do we do now?” Madison asks. “It’s only three.”
“Clubbing.” Daphne says and we look at her. “What we have plenty of time to get ready and new dresses why not party.”
I nod in agreement.
“Clubbing it is.”
