Chasing the Clouds

Elisabeth's P.O.V.
"Lannie I'm fine, I've walked home by myself before." "Ok, ok be safe. I love you goodnight." She finally gave in. "I love you too goodnight." With that i hung up, Lannie is amazing, she is truely the best friend you could ask for. But she is very protective, since i really don't have a family, she acts as a big brother, sister, and mom. She will scare my dates into being good to me, sit crying and eating ice cream with me after a break up, and take care of me 24/7. Like today, we went to the movies and then went back to her house. I am now walking home myself and almost as soon as i walked out of her apartment she called to check on me. She stayed on the phone with me half the time i was walking until she gave up and went to bed. I'm really thankful to have a friend like " Ouch!!" I yell as the door of the building hit my head. I fell back onto the sidewalk." I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" OMG i look up to see the guy who hit me, it was. Liam.Payne. THE Liam Payne! I had to take a second to calm down so i wouldn't fangirl. " Ya i'm fine." I say as he helps me up. As his hand touches mine i have a wierd tingly feelimg go theough me. "Here let me see." He says and move the hair from my face to get a better look." I think you'll live, i'm so sorry about that, is there anything i can get you?" He asks concern flooding his eyes. " No, thank you. I'm fine really." I say with a smile. It was the first time in a LONG time I had actually smiled. He smiled back and said " Well how about we exchang numbers so i can make sure you will be ok tomorrow and even after that." As soon as the words left his mouth i started blushing. " Well if it's the least you could do" i said with a little laugh at the end. " Maybe i could check your forehead again say Friday over dinner?" " I think that would be perfect." " Im Liam by the way." He said extendimg his hand for me to shake. " I know, Im Elisabeth, but you can call me El." I said taking his hand. " Well Elisabeth, i would love to stay and talk to you but unfotunetly i have to go, i'll see you on Friday for your check up though." He smiled at me which i gladly did back." I'll see you then." We both went off in oppisite directions and the restof the walk home thinking of Liam and oir date.
