Give me love like this

I need to get an early start on work today, I have to get some copies made and write a new test for the end of this chapter. Traffic has been picking up with how nice its been, tourism is starting full swing.

I slip my shoes on and check my bag to make sure I have all my manuals and papers I graded last night in my bag before I grab my purse, keys, and phone. One last look in the mirror before I head out the door, I have a pony tail holder on my wrist just in case, the weather always makes it a little frizzy by the end of the day. 6:30 a.m. I should get to school by 7:00 and that will give me plenty of time to get things organized before school day starts.

I straighten out my gray pencil skirt as I open the front door and head to my car. I'm looking down at my phone checking some funny snapchats my sister sent me last night when I hear an all to familiar voice.

“Hey Codi.” I look up and stop dead in my tracks. I'm speechless.

I finally find my voice.

“Liam. W-What are you doing here?” I ask as I begin walking to my car again and slip my phone back in my bag. What is he doing here, in my driveway. How does he know where I live? After 9 months he wants to talk to me again? Fuck that, I don't have time for this shit.

“I came to talk to you.” He says, as if it's so simple like that.

“Well I don't have time to talk Liam, I have to get to school. Some of us have jobs where we can't take whatever time off we need.” I pull my keys out of my purse and click to unlock it. Liam steps in front of my drivers door. “Liam, please move. I don't have time for this.”

“Please talk to me Codi.” He pleads.

“I am talking to you, I'm asking you to move, and telling you I can't talk to you because I have to go to work. Do you not understand that? You want to talk to someone, got talk to Sophia.” I'm acting rude but I don't care.

“Codi, we need to figure things out.” He grabs my arms, not rough, just trying to get my attention.

“Figure what out Liam? You already said what you needed to say, there is nothing more to discuss. Please just let go of me so I can go to work. My students need me. And once again, I have things to do.” I'm remaining calm, I'm over this situation between us anyway.

“When are you done with school?” He asks. Great, now he's not leaving.

“I'm done when I'm done.” Making up an excuse sounding like a bitch. I open my car door but Liam pushes it shut. I glare at him, how dare he come here before school and screw my whole day up.

“Well I'll be waiting here when you return.” He acts like he can stay here, he's trying to smile but all I can do is smirk.

“You can't stay here, Jai will call the cops, this isn't your property, just because you're an international pop star doesn't mean you can do whatever the hell you want. Sometimes your decisions have consequences Liam.” I say it a little more forcefully as I push him out of the way and get into my car. I take a minute to breath, turn the car on and never look back as I drive to school.

Hey you guys!! So sorry but I only have time to post two chapters today instead of my usual three. I have to work earlier than usual and I found a bunch of mistakes in the next chapter that I need to fix before I post it!

But the next chapter is super long so hopefully that makes up for it tomorrow!!
