Give me love like this

It's been six months since Codi and I last spoke. I miss her. She didn't want to be friends and since she changed her number, its obvious she was serious. I wish I knew what happened. I wish I knew what I did. But every time I tried to think about or bring it up, Sophia made sure to remind me that Codi wanted to end our friendship, and I should just respect her. She even deleted her twitter, I don't know what happened. I swear I'm in the dark about everything.

I was getting flack from my mum and sisters almost every time I talked to them. Apparently Codi hasn't talked to any of them since July. Whatever happened she was apparently done with our whole family. My mum and dad still talked to her parents though, and my sisters talked to Maggie. But my mum wouldn't tell me anything about Codi. I had asked her a few times but I stopped when she kept telling me, “If you want to know, ask her yourself. You need to fix this Liam.” And she was angry about it, I don't know why, this was all on Codi. I didn't know how to fix it, I let so much time pass. Too much time. She hasn't tried, obviously she was staying true to her text and having nothing to do with me.

One Direction was set to kick off a major tour in April. I was pretty excited, we were going to South America, I'd never been. I was excited to go to Rio, but I know all I would think about was the fact that Codi's grandparents lived in Rio. It doesn't matter, she doesn't care about me anymore.

“Earth to Liam, HELLO!” I snap out of it and see Sophia yelling at me and snapping her fingers in my face.

“What?” I yell at her. We've been fighting a lot lately. I can't get get over things that have happened with Codi and I and I know Sophia didn't like her, for an unknown reason to me. They'd never even met and when Codi and I were on the phone she was nothing but nice to Sophia. Honestly I wouldn't mind breaking up Sophia. I don't really care about her, she was just a distraction from Codi. Her true sides have come out, she's pretty much a bitch to everyone, including the guys and my family. I can't be with someone like that.

“You're thinking about her again aren't you?” She accuses, she's pacing back and forth in front of the couch.

“So what if I am? She is my best friend.” I stand in the kitchen bracing myself against the island.

“Was. Liam. Was your best friend. Get over it. She hasn't tried to contact you, its over. Pay attention to me. I am your girlfriend. I'm right here. And I want to go shopping.” She whines. She always wants to go shopping or out to eat, never just chill in the house. She always wants us to be seen.

“You know what Sophia, go shopping.” I say as I sit down on the couch throwing my head back to lean against it.

“Then get up, lets go.” She commands as she reaches out her hand for me to take.

“Go without me, I'm done with whatever this is.” I say, as I put my hand up and motion back and forth from me to her.

“What do you mean, done with this?” She asks, mocking my hand gestures.

“You and me. I can't do this anymore. You aren't a good fit for me, I'm done. You can leave.” I state. I run my fingers through my hair and cross my arms.

“What about the media? What are we going to say?” She only cares about her image, she looks upset but no tears fall from her face, she doesn't even look like shes going to cry.

“I'll just tell everyone we're still together until the tour, then I'll announce were over.” I think out loud.

“Whatever. Fine. But you're an idiot. I'm the best thing that's ever happened to you Liam, you'll regret this. Go back to your precious little Codi that never liked you in the first place, she only liked your fame. It was obvious. Everyone knows it. You'll find out soon enough. Asshole.” She rants as she storms out of my house.

“Goodbye.” I yell after her as she slams the door. I wont miss her at all.

I pick up my phone and dial Niall's number.

“Hey Payno, what's up?” He answers.

“Hey Ni, I just broke up with Sophia. Want to go out tonight?” I say rather quickly, surprising myself that I'm not the least bit upset over our break up.

“Wait, you broke up with Sophia?” He asks, he seems really surprised.

“Yeah, I'll wait to tell the media till April when we go on tour but I'm tired of her, she was just getting annoying.” I lean my head back on the couch.

“Good. Thank God. We all hated her.” He explains.

“Wish you would have said something when I was dating her!” I knew Niall didn't like her but I didn't know everyone hated her.

“You seemed happy, so we weren’t going to bring it up, your business man.” He explains.

“Well thanks, but lets all go out tonight. I'm going to call Andy. Can you call the guys?” I ask.

“No problem, be at your house around 8 tonight. Get ready.”

“Oh, I'm already ready.” I reply, I really am ready for a guys night out.

“Hey Li, this mean you're going to go for Codi?” Niall asks, you can tell he's a little nervous to ask the question. “I really liked her, she seemed to always put you and everyone else in a good mood for that matter.”

“I don't know mate, I've waited too long to try to fix our friendship. She probably won't even talk to me. I'll see what happens though. Doesn't mean anything will change.” I think out loud.

“Well, I'll see you in a few.” Niall tells me as we say goodbye and hang up the phone.

I guess I'm free to peruse Codi. If she wants me. I could call my mom and get her new number from her. But not today, tonight is all about me. Me and the guys, my true best friends.
