Fanfiction 101

Creating characters.

When you create a fanfic first i Would advice you to make a story board This is were you say The plot Of The story, what characters you want to use. I like to write, full name, age, profession, relations. Those are just simple Things that are Nice to know about your character. If to use Photos or Gifs Pick a person for her looks. But choose wisely. Fx lily Collins is very overused so not her. I like to go for actresses But your choice. Though if you are writing about an unatractive nerd. Do not Pick a model. It Will be annoying and unrealistic. Last tip Would be. Dont follow The cliches by that i mean dont say she isnt a girly Girl when everything she owns is pink. And if she has a social role let The character reflect it. If she is a nerd make her smart, if she is popular make her shallow, if she is a jock make sure she shows it. It is not Fun to read about a Girl who claims that she is a nerd But dont show any character traits Of a nerd what so ever.

Okay, knowing that English is your second language makes it a bit better, I promise I won't be quite so harsh on you :).
I do agree with you though, I have read waaaay worse in some other stories (or, rather, I have looked at way worse and immediately stopped reading :P).

If you are going to rant and give other people constructive criticism on their writing, I suggest that you invest in some appropriate capitalisation and better punctuation.
I have no problem with the fact that not everyone on fan fiction websites are professional authors with lots of experience, but if your plan is to give other people advice then it should seem like you know what you're talking about first.

Also, your first line of chapter 1 should read "... it can also be applied to fanfics"
not complied.
