The small box rustled and, rattled. I tried to keep the echoing noise down to a minimum. I asked Mary to fix the little red bow before she brought it out. I tried to play my excitement down to make it seem like a mere present, but it glowed through, brighter than a lightning bug, almost as bright as her eyes when Batty took the small puppy out of the box and into her arms. "Is it mine?" Her eyes remained on the small puppy, her voice as joyful as a child's. "He sure is, all yours. What ya thinkin bout namin em?" I asked, unable to break loose the smiles presents. "Robin, my sidekick, no, maybe riddler. Ya riddler, your my robin." She assured me, then she got up and gave me a hug. Riddler gave me a big, slobbery kiss. That night Bat, Rid (Riddlers new nickname) and I had a sleep over, we packed for the trip. We'd leave later that night, at two no less, I was surprised we got such late/early flights, I can't see why anyone would want to fly during the day, you can't barely sleep. But I wanted to sleep some before the 7 hour plane ride so, I did the usual ritual of putting my headphones on, selecting the proper playlist and ignoring everything else, tuning it out and letting darkness engulf me.

I couldn't move, couldn't think, couldn't breath. His eyes bore into mine, never seen before, yet the most detailed memory I had. My breath hitched as I fell, out of the crowd, Into a fully empty forest. I felt cold, dead leaves and twigs under me. I cool breeze roll onto my skin, tickling me and once left, marking my skin with prickled bumps. I looked up, a hand helped me up, as I stood, I stumbled Into his chest, only hidden under a thin v- neck, like a new born fawn, stepping into snow filled surroundings, unsure of the world. He held me until I found stability. Then for the first time, I saw his face, perfect, if I've knew what perfect was, his chocolate eyes, stubbly chin and full lips were it. We danced, there in the woods, for what seemed like ages. The alarm spread through the wood, birds cried, deer fled, wind panicked, and skies grayed. I looked for comfort in my perfect stranger but he was gone, like he was never there, I was all alone. I snapped my eyes open, my alarm was reminding me, 'get your lazy ass out of bed and go to London.' I lightly kicked batty and looked at my I pod 'a thousand years' Christina Perri. I knew twilight would screw with my head, but batty wanted to watch it so...
"GET UP!" I screamed at Bat who refused to wake. I sighed and picked her up, waking this chick was one of the hardest things I've ever done, times like this I just don't. I out her In the back of my Nannas beat up Volts Wagon. I grabbed Luna, and Rid, gave them their sleep meds and shoved them into their crates. I taped a few water bottles to the top and put the address if our hotel on papers and did the same to that. I loaded the old car and woke grandma. On the ride there I pondered on why my last few dreams had the same eyes, after the British pricks came, they didn't leave, they became all I drew, all I dreamt. I pushed it aside mentally, and woke Bat, we were at the airport.
